Every one should visit this restaurant if you are in the Paarl area.Very stylish, excellent service and the food is out of this world.We had starters,mains and dessert and each mouth full was so delicious.I highly recommend this restaurant and it is very well priced.There is a shop next door where they sell some of There products.Thank you for a wonderful dinning experience.We will be back.

The best view for exceptional food and service! The twice-baked souffle is an absolute must, the food of the gods, and Jowls charcuterie board is a total treat. Plan to spend some time here enjoying the whole experience, its one to savour on all fronts.

Neil Jewell- still the best chef in my books. On a rather chilly winter afternoon we were shown to our table for 2 perfectly positioned with a roaring fire place behind us, and a large window looking across the Simonsberg mountains. We spent 3 hours being delited by each course that was presented and paired perfectly with wines selected by Tina Jewel. Our menu comprised of grilled octopus with black garlic tahini, lentils and fennel, this should be a signature dish and was our first experience of octopus and was absolutely delicious. Next was a Jerusalem artichoke risotto with parmesan shards, spek boom and toasted hazelnut. This is the kind of dish you want a large bowl of. Its creamy, crunchy, full of umami hits and then the supprising sour bursts of spekboom. For main course we ordered the springbok loin which was perfectly cooked, served with celeriac and a blueberry ketchup that was just so darn delicious. My wife had the aged fairview sirloin which was both tender and succulent, paired with a glass of spice route chakalaka. We ended our lunch with a Neils eclair and playful plate of sweets: truffles, wine gums, marshmallows and Madelines. Neils menu offers ingredients that are served in their truest form, in the most delightful combinations. We will be back soon to enjoy the rest of his dishes.

Came here with a group and I am blessed to eat at some really great restaurants as part of my job. Jewells stood out in regards to the staff, the chef, the great views. However it is the exceptional good food and cannot compliment the chefs enough. Dont miss this place!!

Highly recommended!! We enjoyed everything we ate! The prices are not expensive at all, and all the dishes are so unusual and tastfull! Just mentioning, it is the first restaurant during the all trip, which I felt I have to give a review to via google...enjoy!
