Had a warm welcome..felt like home, would definitely would recommend this place for visitors in the Cape!

Its a nice place to spend the evening. The old wooden house certainly has its charm and the owner is very friendly, but unfortunately I have to give it a three stars the maintenance of the grounds are neglected and the parking can feel somewhat unsafe. But the beds are clean and comfortable

Affordable prices and and rooms are neat with tea and coffee good for outing as family or friends inside parking needs attention.

Old vintage house with old furniture and untidy bedding. I was so disappointed

Disappointing stay in general.Positive +The quick response when i made the booking.Bed was comfortable.Negative -There was not air conditioner in any room just a fan.There was no shower and the bath tub was pealing on the inside, so if you sat in it you would have cut your self.We were let in by the cleaning lady whom i then had to pay cash for the stay (no receipt was given)There was a tea/coffee station in the room with no milk or creamer and we had to leave early so there was no one to ask.There were two broken brackets in the bathroom, not sure what they were for?All the Bedding Linen was heaped in the kitchen floor not the laundry.It was a lot more like a backpackers than a Guest house.Not worth the R700 for a night.

It was the most unpleasant experience, folty lights overgrowth in backyard. I will never recomend some to this B.B

Good, friendly and very hospitable owners. Enjoyed my stay. Privacy was never an issue and would definitely consider staying there again.

Terrible experience. Will not recommend to ppl who does not like communal bathrooms. Place has no wi fi no tvs in the rooms.

Authentic old style house stay with fire place. Feel like staying at home away from home. Close to restaurants, convenience store and pharmacy. Close to Paarl mountain for walks and sunset drives.

Definitely not worth what is charged for the rooms. There is a big difference between a beautiful old house and an OLD house. Its more of a hostel than anything else. Just not great

A serene place for all age groups. Management & staff are friendly and homey, we were assisted with everything, transportation from the bus station, maps to tour the town, just a walk to Bonolos New school, I am still in awe of this house. Price is even affordable, I will b a resident for the coming months.... Thank you Mr Engelbrecht ur lovely partner& staff..

Nice accommodation and we enjoyed our one night stay in this old style house.

Beautiful room but no tv in room. Have to share a tv with every one. Kitchen set up need a face lift. Lovely garden at the back of street.

More like a back packers than a guest house - messy. WiFi wasn’t readily available - sub standard accommodation in general

Was nice and quiet

Place is super decent but... parking is a bit of a hassle to get in and out (but very secure), it feels like staying in someones family home though... and the place advertised wifi but there wasnt anyone to give us the password or connection that we could see... solid 7 out of 10
