Positive: The cottage was surrounded by a little lake and wide green fields. There are many animals like cows, ducks, horses and dogs. The animals are so wonderful! The three dogs went with us for walks and kind of showed us the property and the surroundings. The one horse came very close so that you could stroke it. The owners are super friendly and very welcoming people. We enjoyed the chat and their help a lot. We stayed one more night because of their generosity and because we loved it so much. The fireplace inside made a nice romantic atmosphere and the sitting area is perfect for having a braai. There is a wine cellar and the wine is awesome! Well definitely come back soon with friends or family or again alone as a couple.. Negative: I didnt like the black spider that waited for me in the shower. Haha! But thats nature and just something that I personally didnt like. Everything was top!.

Positive: We loved our hostess. She was extremely helpful, friendly, funny and accommodating. The setting is beautiful and the sunsets breathtaking. It is very peaceful and relaxing. The accommodation was clean, comfortable welcoming.. Negative: There was absolutely nothing we didnt like.

Positive: Location beautiful. Negative: Rooms needs hooks for jackets, would have been nice to have an oven and a bath for the grandchildren.

Positive: Lovely stay and loads of room - nice to have enough wood to keep the fire going in the cottage which was a bonus. Negative: Would like to have had hooks for jackets and gowns, when eating outside the dogs were around and was a problem tp get rid of them.

Positiv: Wir wohnten in einem Selfcatering Cottage (für 6 Erwachsene ausgestattet) mit 2 Ehepaaren. Aus der Reservierung 27.03. - 03.04. wurde aufgrund der Corona Pandemie ein Verbleib vor Ort bis zum 15.04.2020. Das Besitzerehepaar Lisbeth und Erik nahmen uns auf, wie Familienmitglieder. Die herrlich gelegene Farm mit Weingut und sechs Cottages unterschiedlicher Große bot neben 6 Pferden, verschiedenen Rindern, Hühnern, Ziegen, Gänsen und 8 Hunden ( 6 herrlichen Ridgebacks) ein Urlaubsrefugium erster Güte. Herrliche Gärten mit Swimmingpool, weitläufige Weinpflanzungen luden zum Wandern und Spazieren ein. Aufgrund der Ausgangssperre boten sich Lisbeth und Erik an, mit 1 Person in die nahe gelegenen Lebensmittelgeschäfte zu fahren. Das strikte Alkoholverbot überbrückten wir mit den sehr guten 4 Rotwein- und zwei Weissweinsorten, die Erik bis nach Europa exportiert. Unsere Wäsche wurde wöchentlich gewaschen, obwohl dies in keiner Vereinbarung stand. Erik organisierte ein lizensiertes Taxi, mit dem wir unser Mietauto nach Kapstadt bringen konnten und welches uns am Abreisetag durch alle Polizei-/und Armeekontrollpunkte zur Sammelstelle für den Rückführungsflug der Bundesregierung nach Deutschland brachte! Fazit: Wir sind Weltenbummler, haben jedoch noch nie eine derartige Gastfreundschaft erlebt, wie sie uns durch Lisbeth und Erik entgegen gebracht wurde. Die Standortnähe Richtung Stellenbosh, Kapstadt, Cape Good Hope ist idealer Ausgangspunkt für Singles, Paare und vor allem Familien mit Kindern. Wir werden mit Garantie hierher zurückkehren..

Positief: Heel vriendelijke hosts, mooi domein!. Negatief: De Wi-Fi werkte niet heel erg goed, we moesten goed (en soms lang) zoeken naar ontvangst..

Great place to stay! Each cottage offers the necessary privacy, is nicely furnished with a well-equipped kitchen and a braai next to a cozy terrace. The view of the mountains and the vineyards makes you dream away with a glass of delicious wine, the peace that prevails there under the shade of a tree, that is all a person needs to be happy. Thank you Eric and Liesbeth for the great holidays.
