South African hospitality at its best all while surrounded by the beauty of the Western Cape! We spent 2 magical, restful days here. We loved sitting and having a drink and a chat each evening with our hosts and the other guests. They have 2 delightful dogs to play with as well. Each morning Joan cooks a delicious breakfast which is all included in the price. It feels like you are friends and not just guests.The location is excellent as all the great restaurants of Franschhoek, as well as all the wine farms, are within a short driving distance.Definitely a place to return to if one is in the area!

The accomodation was excellent. The hosts is very friendly and we enjoyed their company with a wine overlooking the beautiful mountain views. They really make you feel welcome and are very helpfull. We will definitely stay here again if we visit Paarl again. For us this is like our home away from home.

My Daughter place

Our holiday isn’t over yet but we already know that the Goedemoed Farm was our absolute highlight!Placed in a breathtaking area of wonderful mountains and surrounded by huge winefields. It’s really good located: On one hand you are on your own in a very private place and on the other hand you are close to the nature reserve and Paarl city. The old farmhouse is so pretty and the rooms are big, clean and have a nice view.But the best was definitely the unbelievable hospitality of Roan and Bared! We felt so welcomed and could see in every detail how much they love to share their wonderful home with us.We would go there again every time back in South Africa!Thank you so much!

We have now stayed here twice. Wonderful friendly relaxed atmosphere.The view of the mountain is stunning. Very good value. One of my favourite places in the world.

Wonderful stay in Paarl among the vineyards and mountains, in a wonderful B&B with fantastic owners, Joan and Barend and my greatest friend Leo! Here I fell in love with Western Cape.Beautiful location, nice accommodation, friendly staff and an original braai evening, super!

We just want to say thank you for a great stay on a beautiful piece of earth with such nice people (Joan, Barend and of course the guests). Everything was just right: very well equipped, spacious room with its own terrace, breathtaking views of the mountains, well-tended grounds with a pool and comfortable loungers, the family atmosphere and the nice conversations with Joan over breakfast. All of this (and then the dogs ❤️) made it really difficult for us to say goodbye. We will always remember and would book again at any time.

Wonderful location, very friendly, welcoming hosts, excellent breakfast, very nice rooms. Here you feel immediately comfortable!
