My mother in law just had a very bad experience at Barn & Werf. She paid R160 for an item and was enjoying coffee next door when someone came to say they forgot to add a 0 to the price tag - R1600! Not our fault, but they said it would come out of the staffs wages which is just wrong. Not fair to put the customer and their employees in that position! Item returned, bad karma. Will stay away

This place is where you get heirloom quality antiques like tables, chairs, cupboards, beds, ect.Do not go here if your looking for a bargain, go here if youre looking for a beautifully unique piece or pieces of furniture that you will keep for the rest of your life and will bring some soul to your home.They also have small decor items like prints, books, antique lamps and trinkets.The owner is an amazing lady that is usually in the store and is also the individual that curated the pieces. She has quite a lot of knowledge of each item they have in stock.

I love this place !!! All the items have been sourced with care and attention. Very unusual pieces and little gems are always waiting to be discovered. Also the location is in a beautiful part of the Winelands.
