Gorgeous little café with so much character. We had the most delicious Belgium waffles and a stunning waitress who went the extra mile with a smile.

Great little cafe, fab service, delicious milkshakes. Actually my only complaint is about the owner / manager, who came in to the bar area where the waitress was making our milkshakes and told her rudely to hurry up, before she saw there was a customer (my husband) standing there.We were the first customers of about 5 couples who arrived in quick succession, and the owner / manager expected this one poor waitress to take care of everyone. Its not hard to take care of 5 tables of course, but not when they all arrive within 5 minutes of each other, and you are busy making drinks. Only when she noticed my husband, who was waiting for our takeaway order, did she decide to help and take menus to the other tables herself. I couldnt believe it, felt very sorry for the waitress!

I had a brunch with very good friends at Rou Karoo. The peri peri livers was divine, and a treat was the now famous Plaasdam, which is a crafted beer, in a huge container like plaasdam, good for 4 people to enjoy. The beer was ice cold on a hot summer day, just the thing to get a Saturday started.

I read all these amazing reviews and wonder if I was at the right place. We waited a very long time for our food. The pancake was raw, wrong sauce on pancake and bill wrong.

Would definitely recommend something different as you can only believe in the Little Karoo ...
