A local joint with locals having a good time, party atmosphere but it was a Friday nightStaff were nice and friendly and draught was cold!We took away our salad and pizza as we were quite tired from the day but overall quite pleasant and food was tasty.Certainly would come back if in Oudtshoorn.

Good place for a drink in Outdtshoorn (not just a restaurant as the name might imply). There was a quiz plus live music on when we were there. Liveliest place in town when we were visiting!

Pretty standard eatery for a hungry traveler. Pasta is really overcooked so I personally didn’t enjoy. If you are ordering already be mindful it comes with cinnamon. Pretty interesting taste but you after a couple of bites it feels strange. (Perhaps acquired taste?!) portions are huge so if you are not really hungry it’s worth ordering a half portion or sharing. House salad is very fresh. On every table you will find a freshly cooked house salad in green glass bottle (throughout SA in general). WiFi works pretty well. Wine is cheap but house red by glass Was very plain so I’d recommend to order a bottle of the wine you know.

This is a fantastic establishment. They often have live entertainment and keep the town town alive. Their food is fantastic, they have a lovely house salad which is rare. They have a reasonably priced menu. Id definitely recommend La Dolce Vita

We enjoyed our meal at La Dolce Vita. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. The meals was well prepared and tasty. There is a fully licensed bar available. The price for each meal was lower than the normal franchise restaurants. I can recommend this restaurant.

The place to stop if youre into a pub environment.Believe they have live music on the weekends.Lost stars due to the place needing a good scrub down. Floors are grimy and tables sticky...

Good service. I had the Portuguese steak and everything, service, sauces, fries etc, good. Unfortunately the steak, the hero of the dish, was terrible. Half of the steak was fat and senue, the rest THOUGH as hell. La Dolce Vita just make an effort and get GOOD steak and all will be topnotch. Small effort, big gain.

The service was quite poor, after being seated , probably 8 minutes before any waitress approached us. We had a rump steak, was average at best, and my personal opinion is that it is rather a bar environment than a restaurant. Must mention that we ate inside, while the vibe and fire was outside, focus definitely not inside. 3 ladies entered via the inside tables door and after 10 minutes of no services ( absolutely none) they left again , confirmed by my brother that dined with me

Lots of patrons for a Tuesday evening! Food was good, lively music and even a quiz game going on. None of this interfered with the eating experience though. In Oudtshoorn have to try ostrich and it was good! Staff friendly and service is good. Time to enjoy an apperatif before the food arriving. Nice informal vibe.

Little hidden gem. At first sight the place doesnt look like much, but their food makes up for it ten times over. Service is quick, big portions and value for money. Definitely a must

Simple and cheerful place with many outside seatings. Very friendly people. Food was average though and service also a bit slow. Had to wait quite a bit for our food. We ate here because the good restaurants were all full. After all ok, but nothing special. The ostrich steak was awesome though!

If you are ever in Oudtshoorn you Must give them a try. BEST AND I MEAN BEST chilli poppers under the sun. They also have massive portions of food and reasonable prices. I love the open air dining as well.
