I loved my stay at Baron Van Reede. The couple who own this establishment were warm, caring and welcoming. I know exactly where Im staying next time ( hopefully in the same room as I loved it). Rooms are adequitly kitted out and super clean. Bed was so comfortable I didnt want to go home. See you guys soon and thank you SO MUCH for all the care.

Visited this place for just one night, but awesome experience. The hospitality from Christo and Magda was excellent. They took their time to give a lot of advises what to do in the area. Even the rooms are really nice.

Me and my wife stayed here unfortunately only for one night on our way from Port Elisabeth to Stellenbosch. The hosts were fantastic. We received perfect service, a lot of information and insider tips for the next step of our trip, and we felt extremely welcome. The location left nothing to be desired. Clean, comfortable and beautiful. I can highly recommend this guesthouse to everybody. We will definitely come back. Good job!!

Very cosy place. Really enjoyed our stay at this super neat and well maintained guest house. We got a nice surprise on one morning when we went to sit outside and drink coffee since we wanted to sleep in and skipped breakfast in favour of sleep. When we got outside there was a nicely prepared tray with eats and drinks and it was just such a nice gesture. Thanks Zoe.

A lovely guesthouse. The hosts were fantastic and went out of their way to welcome us. We were upgraded to a larger room, given great dinner recommendations and they went out of their way to make my girlfriend a really lovely veggie breakfast. The guesthouse offered the best value for money of all the places we stayed in SA.

Awesome staff and rooms. When we booked we were expecting a great stay, due to the reviews we read. But when we got there, it was even better!! We will be back for sure!

My Boyfriend and myself stayed at the 88 baron....guesthouse for two nights during our 3 week vacation in SA. Out of the 3 weeks and 10 places we stayed at- this was the best. And we had quiet a few nice ones. The hosts Zoe and Huw are so welcoming they make you feel like home the second you step in the door. The property has a nice and clean outsied area with a pool. The room has everything you need. Zoe took lots of time to give us information on oudtshoorn its activities and restaurants. The breakfast was amazing. Home cooked pastry and very good hot breakfast. Freshly done. Delicious. We would always come back if again in SA. Highly recommended!

Wonderful rooms with a small terrace in front of every door, drinks in the room and also a selection of wines in the fridge. Real hospitality received us from Magda and Christo. Only the street in front of the house is not for sensitive ears.

This is the nicest place I experienced on my ZA trip.The owners are 100% into it!If you search for something personal ... you are right!It is perfectly clean and our room was also perfectly quiet!------------------The best hotel Ive seen on the Garden Route. It is run by owners who take care of their guests with a lot of love.The rooms are absolutely clean and tidy.Our room was super quiet.However, if you expect a huge holiday resort, you are wrong here;)
