What a lovely relaxed place. Best Peanut Butter Milkshakes ever!!! Great service from the waiters, ample play area for the kids and farm animals kids can get close to. Parents can relax and still keep an eye on the little people. Only visited the restaurant so cant speak to the accommodation.

What a wonderful place to visit, so peaceful with birds, a church for functions, farm animals, delicious food, huge play park for kids and toddlers.. Will definitely visit again ⛲

What a big improvement since my last visit. They have a very affordable breakfast menu, bottomless coffee and a beautiful seating area. I will go again, especially for their nice burgers.

Spending my evening in the mountainous region of the Mossel Bay country side. Ruiterbosch Lodge has a picturesque backdrop of mountain peaks and rolling hills which adds to its earthly charm and warm farmstyle character. It is the perfect escape for the person that needs to leave behind the crazy city life and breathe in the crisp clean air of this craggy coastal region.

The place is breath taking, Quiet, The singing of the birds in the evening is amazing, The lady owner is friendly. Everything you need is actually around the place, They have a Restaurant with delicious food & a very big play ground for kids.You can come alone, with Friends or family their rooms are accommodative.

Ruiterbosch Lodge is a wonderful surprise next to the R328. A warm welcome and friendly conversation made the well prepared meal even more of a treat. The menu is pub food dressed up with a gourmet scarf BUT they hit the ball out of the park with a cheese platter that you can compile according to your taste and budget.Locally sourced produce and wine shows their commitment to their venture which makes this establishment regional gold. The beautiful chapel and the accommodation is perfect for weddings and business conferences.

The owner was very friendly and very accommodating to our kids.

Very homely location ideal for families with children. Units are comfortable. We had the family unit with 2 bedrooms. 2 small bathrooms. Kitchen and lounge area with a sleeper couch. Stoep with a little table and chairs. There are cleaning services available and also clothes washing facilities which is a huge help. Also a lovely communal binne braai area where you can braai and visit and where events can be hosted. Louise the owner is exceptionally friendly and a very gracious host. Went out of her way for us. 25 minutes from Mossel bay. No real shops nearby so take what you need. There is a lovely breakfast, homemade pizza place Boerie Bistro very close by. Thanks Louise will definitely come and stay again.
