Checkers has become one of my favourite places to shop at. They always have what I require shopping wise and it is always painless to pop in and get what you need at a very affordable price. I love bread and specifically Rye Bread - they have you covered with the best Rye bread one could ask for! The veg produce is fresh and the selection of fruit is pretty good all year round. The definitely get my vote. Need something delivered ? No problem, the online app solves you problem.

It is clean! Food is fresh! The chicken strips are very tasty. Freshly baked bread rolls & cakes. Isles seems to be organized. Trolleys are new and sanitized. (The cappuccino did taste bit bland...)

Actually went to dischem.to test for covid. Took less than 15min and didnt even queue.

Its one of my favourite shops for all groceries. Easy in and out. Most times they have nice bakery goods, vegetables and fruit

Big store thats very well stocked. Generally find what I am looking for here though I dont do all my household shopping at Checkers. They also have convenient shopping hours opening by 8 am and closing in the evening on most days. I prefer to go early though to avoid queues as Kyalami Corner foot traffic is generally increasing and will only get busier with the new complex being built across from it by the McDonalds.

Honestly do not think I have received such terrible service from a Checkers before. There were three or four tellers. The rest of the staff were standing around chatting. There were stock trollies laying around everywhere without packers unpacking. This is all going on while the lines have at least ten people in each. Finally get to the till and she has got such an attitude. Will be keeping well away from this Checkers.

I love this checkers, I dont think this is a hyper but Ive never not been supplied with what I need from here. Ive never had an issue with rude staff here either, they are all enthusiastic and eager to help when asked to. The weekly specials are insane. The fresh fruit and veggies section is actually what we live for, their prices are actually cheaper than Pick n Pay.

Helpful merchandising staff but could do without the cashiers attitudes. They act as if they are doing the customer a favour.

It has everything you need; the downside; long ques and slow till points.My last visit : despite the pandemic and panic buying; very long ques with very slow staff. Management should have opened more tills themselves instead of just standing and chatting. Such staff should trained and be geared for busy days. This would reduce the long ques. Just my opinion.

Checkers has become more expensive than most other shops I go to. Their specials are ok but sometimes more than the normal price at other stores. Checkers Kyalami is generally a good store though.

Checker Checkers just up my road. Enjoy shopping here. Good fresh fruit and vegetables, hot food counter with a lovely variety of tasty eats. Bakery with a decent selection of breads, rolls and cakes. Fresh fish counter adequately stocked. Have most of your regular shopping items. Biscuit selection can be improved, not a big variety.Have a kitchen appliance section that came in handy when I needed it and priced nicely. Some garden and hardware stuff as well.Great store.

The service was very poor.I had to pack all of my grocery in plastic while packers and cashiers were there doing nothing instead they wer busy chatting it was very rude of them to stand nd look at me doing their Job.

It is big, has all the things you need.The fresh food and take-away stuff isnt quite up to Spar standards, but compared to other Checkers, this is a good one.The queueing can feel a little cramped during Covid, but all the shoppers seemed happy and accommodating.

My husband loves the fact that it is never too busy. I like fact that we find beautiful things that I have not seen in other Checkers stores

The shop needs to sort out the amount of people that are allowed in the store(Covid-19 protocols are still in place). Meat, chicken etc in the cold shelves past its sell by date, and not looking appetizing at all.I will not be going back.There are far better Checkers shops in the area.
