Great kids theme park, super safe, spacious and well maintained! Not to mention convenient! This will replace gold reef city for young kids, R20 per ticket, and a R200 for 3 hours all access coupon. Tickets may be used on the next visit if not completed by the day. Love it!

I didnt like mall of Africa one bit. I went because jy husbae wanted to check out a shop called Archive but I wouldnt go. Its too big and way to packed for my liking but it is still beautiful.

I remember the first time I came to the mall, I complained so much about how it couldve been better than it is, I had really high expectations.But the more I visited the place, the more I fell in love with it despite the expectations I had. ❤️... I think when I heard that Mall of Africa was being built, I thought of something that would be bigger and better than Menlyn Mall.Yes at first I was disappointed but I learnt to love and appreciate its uniqueness. I love how every now and then they have something for the kids to enjoy, it can be jungle gyms or a fun fair...The mall has expensive stores but it also accommodates those who arent able to afford expensive brands.The mall is quite big and spacious. Its a really great place to come with family for some nice shopping. ❤️

This mall is stunning,it is very clean and modern. There is a large variety of stores and boutique shops. There is a great choice of restaurants and places to grab a bite to eat. Definitely a go to shopping mall.

The mall is nice and clean, with many shopping outlets and restaurants. I love the cleanliness of the toilets and strict hygene protocols although the lifts are a mess but it is a great shopping mall.

Surely it is really an expansive mall with brand-name fashion & footwear retailers, casual eateries & a movie theater,...Very big with over 300 shops we walk around the area surely we did not cover the whole are and all the shops,.. most shops you can think of they are available,..The area is smart and clean the design is mind blowing,...Theres an area outside that i loved most with water springs surrounded by Food shops and the lighting is amaizing ,.. you can chill have wifi and there a charging points ,...Everything about this mall is of higher grade and high value,..There are so many entrances we nearly got lost ,..Thanks the management of this mall they are doing a great job ...

Spend last weekend at the Mall of Africa to attend The Halaal Food Expo. Had a great time.. We bought our lunch at the Food Market and had it at the Food outlet seating at the mall....in the air - condition area....to be away from the sun outside. After lunch we walk through the shopping mall till late afternoon doing window shopping. Was surprised how modern lay our this mall is. We intend going back to spend the whole day shopping at The Mall of Africa..... Soon.

Its a mall that has everything you need. The plan of the mall makes sense, its not complicate. Its simple but has a feeling of class. It accommodates all echelons of society.

Ample parking, good selection of shops and restaurants, clean restrooms. The Checkers store layout annoys me, though: there isnt enough space for trolleys to queue at pay points, which clogs up the alleys; promotion bins between the blocks of alleys cause constant congestion. Poor layout!

This is definitely one of the best Malls in South Africa. It’s really big, with many clothing stores, restaurants, and a lot more.If you’re visiting Johannesburg this mall should definitely be on the list of locations to visit.I would recommend visiting this mall.

The mall is full of life with diverse stores, restaurants and outdoor fun.There is plenty of outdoor sit and dine restaurants for good family fun, a toot toot train for the kids and lots of park space to walk around. This is mostly unique to the Mall of Africa.While the mall is huge, navigation is fairly easier than Menlyn, for example. I found it easy to locate my parking spot, finding my way around and locating specific stores. With Christmas decorations, the mall looks absolutely amazing inside.

To be honest, I am not a big fan of big malls, however, this was not a bad visit.Except for the placement of the infoscreens and that the downstairs unit did not work, I really liked this mail, and it is actually quite beautifully designed.

Its beautiful, however, I expected more. Its nice that they have a playground for kids, but when its raining kids will just have to be in the mall the whole time, the play area is not covered.

Theres a variety of stores from clothing stores, electronic and cellphone shops...I love the fact that they close at 8 meaning you can have plenty of time to do all your shopping after work.

A very spacious Mall with a huge variety of stores and eateries. The incredible size and space is impressive and overall design and ease of getting around is a pleasure. Sometimes the signage in certain places is not clear and information not always visible but these are minor issues.

Always enjoy shopping here. I find the variety of clothing much more than in other top malls like Sandton where the stores are smaller and hold less stock. The mall has all large retailers and popular restaurants. The water features are very popular with the little ones and there is a designated play area by the outside food section. The mall is large and in a diamond shape, making the navigation in this mall easy. The bottom section can get very busy due to foot traffic.

Its a nice mall you allowed to shop late there is no crowd you just relax en take your time

Simple mall with just 2 levels in an oval shape making it easy to get to everything. Has most shops one would need all in one place from groceries to clothes to DIY and home stores as well as upmarket and fast food restaurants. The size of this mall means youre never left feeling claustrophobic even at the end of the month and mid month madness.

First floor gets soo overcrowded during month end. I would avoid it at such times. Enjoyed shopping at H&M and eating at Doppio Zero

Wow!!! What an adventure this is a place to visit enjoyed every moment. It was like Im overseas biggest shopping mall, I think in SA.

So heartbreaking I cant take all the dogs but Ive gotten my past 4 dogs from Midrand SPCA since 1997 and theyve all been beautiful, loyal and loving beings. After my much mourned Bonnie died at 21 in Feb 2021, we went yesterday to get our 5th to be a companion for Bonnies sister Astrid, who has been a very sad pup since her passing. We look forward to our new dog joining our family... Bonnie (see her photo below) guided us to her kennel ...

A great shopping experience at Mall of Africa in Johannesburg, South Africa! The Mall is expansive, you will get pretty much everything you need from there. Both local South African and International Brands, something for everyone!The Mall is easy to navigate with a touch screen guide at every turn for you to aid yourself on where to go as you shop!Catch your Uber at Gate 8 as easily when done shopping! Oh, and dont forget to catch a hearty meal from either the everyday food court or the fancy high end restaurants that are in plenty!

Mall of Africa is great, highly recommend, well set-up. Great shops, helpful and friendly staff. Great restaurants. Lovely setting and view, from certain places. Great food at the restaurants we have been to, so far.

A huge mall with very few customers. Perhaps better on the weekends. However I did notice that prices are considerably higher here than elsewhere in Johannesburg. Especially at the supermarkets. Not a center I will rush back to unfortunately.......... 😒

Everything about MoA is very good. Suitable for shopping, going out or running an errand. It is normally quite packed though as it is in a central location. But there is a lot of space for parking. Highly recommended if you do not mind the large amount of people.

I am kindly requesting the security company responsible for patrolling the Mall of Africa to make sure that drivers (especially taxi drivers) follow the rules and regulations of the road when entering an intersection or crossing traffic lights. Ive seen a lot of them crossing a red traffic light at speeds of up to 60km per hour. This will cause a deadly accident one day, and most victims will be innocent people.

After all, great experience. Parking can be crazy during peak times though. Great selection of shops. A fair selection of restaurants, cafes and fast food. Get your walking shoes because there is a lot of ground to cover. Chances are if you need to go to 2 places, they are on opposite corners.

There are an abundance of clothing shops and a few grocery stores. The biggest advantage of The Mall of Africa are the shopping hours which stretches until 20h00. That is before lockdown stage 4 Parking is R10 for first 3 hours, thereafter it gets expensive. The problem there are hardly any security guards in parking area and it seems also not many cameras. I always park at banking entrance and they broke into my boot in daylight. Not a security guard in sight. So the mall generally needs better and more visible security. There is a food court and also outdoor restaurants which are quite popular. There is a taxi rank and a convenient drop off and pickup space for e cars. The mall needs a Seattle Coffee Company. It is a mall where you can shop until you drop.

Good shopping experience but theres always something going on with the parking payment machine on the top floor, so you have to go up and down the floors to pay for parking. Top floor bathroom opposite the Sorbet salon never suitably clean but otherwise an okay mall.

The maps of the mall are frequently and conveniently located. Which is useful if you dont want to get lost.Some stores, like Mr Price, have an entrance on one side of the mall and the exit on the other side. So you have to go all the way around to get to that stores entrance. Thats very inconvenient and time consuming.

Shopping mall on points but the car Parking its a day light robbery. Immediately you enter the parking you must pay the parking tickets. The is no drop off side that you can atleast drop of free for 15 minutes.

No stars acty! A truly horrible shopping experience. From the free parking that wasnt, to the awkward pay stations, to the stores that are no longer there, to the surly so-called assistants who couldnt lift their heads to be bothered helping. We left with nothing. We will never be back. A huge disappointment.

Be careful of allowing them to change your screen protector without checking the price. I asked for a new one expecting to pay R250 and they charged me R500 for something supposedly unbreakable without showing me the packaging. They are a rip off.
