The place has great scenery. I was just disappointed by the slow service. I left without buying anything. I will visit again as I think they were experiencing teething problems.Went again last weekend and the service has improved. Food was delicious and I loved the scenery.I went for a visit again in this month (November 2020). The place is much more greener and serene. You can’t leave without walking the grounds. The flowers and plants are just beautiful ! Loved the breakfast. Nandi was a lovely host. I like that they serve alcohol now. It’s a great place for a chilled outing,events and working (wifi is available).

Perfect for family outing. Very relaxed and homely atmosphere. My only ask is that they include a Stella Artois on their drinks menu.

The internet pictures are no longer applicable as they have moved, and sadly not quite as quaint greenery garden anymore. Oddly they claim they have jyst loved and havent had time to update the pictures but they updated the address and Google maps. We didnt even get as far as eating. The coffee machine was broken so couldnt serve a simple cappuccino. We settled for filter coffee which took over 15 mins to arrive. I asked for cream and the waiter had no idea what cream was. I proceeded to pour hot milk into the coffee and it looked like someone had dropped feta cheese into the coffee. The milk was beyond sour. The people behind us had to return their food to the kitchen as well as the chicken wasnt cooked probably. We left without drinking the coffee. Dont be deceived by the photos. Food and scenery are nowhere near as good as the pictures. Would honestly not recommend.

Incredibly tranquil atmosphere and the food is absolutely delicious. The views of the beautiful surrounding garden, the pond and the ducks paddling along is absolutely worth the visit!

A truly amazing range of coffees and teas. Toni Glass tea served here, perfectly seeped amazing flavour. Turkish coffee with cardamom, wow!!! A must try in Johannesburg.

We hosted my friends baby shower at the Trea Garden in November 2020. The decor was exactly what Nandi (the owner) promised and more. Everything is was so beautiful. The food was tasty too. We had a wonderful day!

Quite a quaint cozy spot to have lunch with family and friends.The food was great, not too much of a variety on the menu though.The preparation of the food was quite slow but the service made up for it tenfold.

The Trea garden has sooooo much potential. Its a serene, hidden restaurant with gorgeous greenery nestled in President Park, away from the hustle and bustle of inner city Midrand. With a bit of work & care, I believe it would be a really fantastic spot.The braai platter was absolutely delicious and more than enough for our party of 3. Our hostess was friendly and took very good care of us. I do have qualms with the fact that in lieu of a written/printed bill, we were told our total due by mouth.

The worst place under the sun, food is absolute rubbish. Waited over an hour for burnt 🥵 bread and uncooked patties. Don’t waste your money at this place. If I could give a negative star ⭐️ I would give it -5. Kamo, the waitress was the only good thing from the experience.

My friends and I booked a week in advance and asked for special table setup as seen on their Instagram page. To our disbelief, the table wasnt prepared when we arrived and giving us a menu/taking our drinks order took 30+ minutes. We were also told there werent enough chairs for us. The place is not well kept and apart from the slow service, it doesnt seem like they follow Covid-19 regulations -staff werent wearing masks and there wasnt any sanitizer. The pictures dont match the actual place.

This is an amazing place and a good memory over coffees and teas! They were all so tasty we couldnt just have one each. The decor, attention to detail and vibe is great! There are lovely outdoor spaces for little ones (and big ones too) to connect with nature.

The tea garden hot tubs in Santa Cruz ca . It was THE WORST TIME EVER the people took money out of my account for 7 hours But denied my reservation for no good reason and hurt my feeling and so RUDE I JUST WANTED TO RELAX THEY WAISTED MY TIME AND GAVE MY RESERVATION TO SOMEONE ELES MY BANK STATEMENT PROVED THEY HAD TAKEN THE MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT and they never took the time to get back with when there staff denied my reservation and took money out of my account !!!!

I was very underwhelmed by the food, the menu is very limited with long waits.Its nice and quiet though. Good for a book club.

Well I went there for a bridal shower. Hostess wasnt too gracious. The table was set up in the sun. Asked to move it to the shade she said we must move it ourselves. In heels can you imagine lifting tables and chairs. Secondly the food ran out, the stew had potatoes and also served potato salad? Food was not in presentable platters. Drinks ran out. There was a big water jar that was dirty. Hostess came out in what looked like pyjamas. When she was confronted she gave attitude saying the guests were rude when they actually paid to be there. The toilets are also in a condition. Way too disappointed.

Wonderful place for the kids to explore. Awesome cakes and home made pies. Could have really enjoyed a beer though. Unfortunately theyre not licensed.When they get that right. 8 out of five. And double 10 out of 5 if they can make me a really awesome burger.The cakes were incredible. Fantastic. Just cakes are for desert. A beer and a burger, a good one, is what I need for a lunch.

Had a spring picnic/market day there on Sunday. Chilled vibes, there we interesting stalls selling awesome and unique products. There was a band playing chilled music and they have on of the best smoothies Ive ever tasted.

Gin cocktails are to die for. They have teas from all around the world. If coffee is your thing, prepare to be amazed. And they serve dombolo and braai!! Oh, these are traditional South African foods. The park is gorgeous and they have a pond 😯😍 kids love it too.

The place has a good ambiounce. Their food is affordable but its not as child friendly as they claim it is. They dnt have a kiddies menu.They dnt have kids friendly chairs,cups or anything to keep them busy. Maybe they should be specific with the childrens age because Its not a friendly environment for kids under 3.

Got there this morning they not open and definately not in business was embarrassed to phone client to move meeting.

Service was extremely slow. Orders were taken incorrectly and some of the guests didnt even receive their orders. Services and food was paid in full prior to the event. The venue had not set up before we arrived even though we requested to arrive earlier. Family had to help their staff to set up the tables which delayed our event even further. Staff and owner alike were not friendly, didnt check up on guests or have the drinks order serve within reasonable time. Terribly under staffed even though this was pre booked event for 30 people. Family had to serve the food in order to quickly get food to the tables. Food was good but over shadowed by the rest of the bad customer care. There wasnt enough plates for guests to serve cake. Again this could have be easily avoided with adequate planning and if hostesting skills were in check. Errors can be easily forgiven if the owner was able to politely explain and apologise for slow service. Toilets need fixed doors as curtains are not private enough in an outside terrain. Extremely disappointing and frustrating. The venue is really under utilised as its such a beautiful scenic canvas for any event. Beautiful venue and good food doesnt make up for horrible service. Definitely not worth the money spent. Its extremely sad to see small locally run businesses not step it up in their early days of starting their business. That was a lost opportunity to impress 30 future potential customers.
