Food was mediocre. Someone on our table received spoiled prawns. The sushi was also not the freshest. Staff are clumsy and have no customer service ethics. Would not recommend.

A place with tons of potential, but lacking in far too many things. The food was good but not great, unless you like lots of oil in your breakfast. When we arrived we wanted the breakfast buffet as advertised on the menu and on the website we were told that they do not have it anymore. So we ordered our food and got amazing service from our waiter but the speed from the kitchen was a bit slow. The kiddies play area is quite well equipped and in an area that makes it easy to keep an eye on things. Overall, great place for kids and adults that like aeroplanes. The service was great and the waiters were friendly. The lack of the advertised buffet was a dissapointing but the price of the normal breakfasts was very reasonable.

Pleasant vibes relaxing and love watching learners taking off and landing

Learning that this is at the airport thrilled me then I wondered how I will be able to concentrate with all the noise of Airplanes taking off and landing. But I was blown away when that wasnt the real experience (well except because I was there on a Saturday), I felt better having to look at the small planes parked neatly, on enquiry I was told the airport is for trainee pilots. Harvard cafe interestingly got very budget event venues and great meals. We had buffet brunch and that came was simply nice. Staff were fairly friendly, but caught staring at us lots of times. You know why? Because we were a group of beautiful people living with Vitiligo and there to mark our day 😍💜

Lovely place for those with an interest in aviation. Get lost seeing airplanes take off and fly in as you enjoy a meal. Kid friendly and they have good customer service.

Great place.

Great setting and lovely atmosphere. The steaks were delicious and so were the accompying sides. My prawns were a bit cold but tasted delicious. Both the food and drinks menu have a lot to offer.

Food is really not good and over priced. A few pieces of meat with no flavour in a wrap with some jalapeños is most certainly not worth R95.

It was good, they have Sunday buffet on Sundays and service is good. It wasnt so busy or congested. The food were lovely. Looking forward for them to introduce more breakfast cereals,

Great service today. Amazing food. My husbands eisbein arrived and told the waitron he was unhappy as it was quite small and within 10 minutes there was another one on his plate. Lovely facilities for kids eg painting, toys for sale and play area. Great live music. All the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating.

Great service, wide ranging menu catering for most tastes n a drinks menu that doesnt dissappoint either.Enjoy the outdoor setting just right next to tarmac with helicopters n light aircrafts landing n taking off.Top it off with a kiddies play area.Easily accessible, off the N1 highway/less 5km frm the Gautrain station.

Terrible. Multiple times phone in advance. Get there to still wait 30 min for food.Phone and order get there ignored by everyone there for 10 min.Never again it has been on going bad service but today last straw.

At very short notice, Harvard Cafe, namely Peter, arranged a memorial tea for 16 people. The food was excellent, filling, tastefully arranged and professionally presented. The service was quietly constant and politely maintained. Thank you for turning what could have been a sad and somber time, into a joyous celebration of a precious life.

They have great specials currently. The pizza I had was fantastic. Everyones food was good. Thin base and super tasty. Lots of space between tables.

Nice view of the airstrip and small airplanes.Food is generally really good but the Seafood platter was a let down and lacked flavour.Major issue are the flies! No matter where you sit, as soon as you get your food, flies are all around you.

The Harvard is an awesome place to have a good meal and watch the airplanes land and take off, this doesnt make it too noisy though. On a Friday they have live music as well, awesome atmosphere.

I had such a lovely breakfast at The Harvard Cafe. Food was filling and fresh. Staff was welcoming and the place was spotless with a wide variety of options to choose from on the menu. I would definitely recommend people to go try it out.

Decided to visit what was one of my favorite places on Sunday. Sadly the food quality and taste was well below standard, and expensive, plus we were continually pestered by so many flies.

First visit there and had a burger. Unfortunately, the patty was small and a little dry.The chips were dry.The bread roll seemed to be more than a day old, sprinkled with water and then reheated again, to serve....Overall, the meal was a waste of money and not even served hot.

I had a chicken livers starter. The bread they served with it was really not fresh at all. I notified the manager about it and it was replaced by other not fresh bread. I had a Fettuccini Alfredo, the cream sauce had no flavor.

Harvard Cafe is a really great restaurant with a great menu. The food was well prepared and tasted good. Its has an informal feel and overlooks the airfield. The staff are friendly and helpful. Airconditioning would be helpful.

Lovely relaxing restaurant tucked away at Grand Central Airport. Facing onto the planes parked along the fence, it is a place to get together with friends and catch up. Food is great. Live music was just the right vibe to further relax you. Ill definitely be back!
