The perfect place to get all your DIY equipment and tools. There is always someone to assist if you need any help and the staff is nice and friendly to customers.

Been here for the first time today and I must say that I am quite impressed with the quantity and variety of stock kept here. Yes, the space is a bit tight but not bad. The pricing is a bit higher than the bigger places but this is expected from a smaller store. No issue here at all....if you need it, they most likely have it. People are friendly and helpful. Definitely the place to go to for the last minute bits that you need on a project. Great stuff guys.

I went to get key copies cut, and both of the copies didnt work, I returned immediately to rectify it and only one of the copies from that attempt worked.So if you need keys cut I recommend going elsewhere.

I went there to get steel mesh, they didnt have any when i went so i gave in my phone number and told them to call me when it arrives. A week later i got no call so i went into the store to find that they actually did have some and didnt call me. So while i was there i asked one of the employees to cut me 4 metres of mesh while i paid, when i got home i noticed that it was 3.6 metres so i went back the next day and returned what i had and finally got my steel.

Terrible service from your employees on a Sunday morning. I came in to fill up my gas cylinder and purchase few items for my apartment, the 2 guys at the door start arguing as to who should fill the cylinder. 1 guy decides to take the cylinder to the back. when I asked him how many kgs I should pay for he said he didnt weight it yet and that I must wait coz he is busy or (acting busy) coz he refused to fill it as per the other guys instructions. I then asked for my cylinder to refill at another location and they were more than happy to let business walk out your door without even an apology for they mistakes.

Even through this is a small Mica hardware shop, I would highly recommend this for any of your DIY need. The main reason for this is the staff, friendly, efficient, extremely helpful and knowledgeable. You never wait long to get expert assistance on anything you need assistance with.

They have some staff without basic knowledge of hand tools. The one didnt know what a hot glue gun is. They also refill LP gas, but they charged me a flat rate based on the size of my cylinder, and not per kg like before. Other than that, it is a good hardware store.

New upgraded, extended store with more space - and more stock. Very friendly sales assistants who are knowledgable and helpful, which is what you need. A convenient place to get something quickly for that home DIY project.

Had a small plumbing job in the Carlswald area and the nearest Hardware was this Mica Store. The one time I ventured in there, I encountered friendly staff and marvelous service. Would recommend the outlet to anyone.

There return policy isnt great. Happened on two occasions where i bought an item, opened the packaging and never used it. They told me they unable to accept it back. After this i started using visiting builders warehouse who have a far better hassle free return policy.

Its an OK hardware sure if you are looking for something in an emergency. You can usually find what you are looking for unless its something unusual. Prices are better elsewhere if you know where to shop. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Im always going to go here first if I need something important.Edit: Went to this store this week to buy a gas heater and the store attendants were so extremely helpful. Customer service is really undervalued nowadays, this store really really does go the extra mile for their customers. Unlike Builders.

They quite alot in terms of ranges between electrical, plumbing etc. However, walking and waiting for service takes a long while most times (probably under staffed) and if you do obtain orders for products like defy much better to call and deal with them directly as the construct of my order was messed up a few times leaving a long time delay in getting my stuff sorted. Self service, perfect if you walk in and serve yourself.

Shop too cramped, the staff seem unhelpful and theres hardly any prices on items... so you only know when you get to the till... by then you have sat in a Que, only to be told the price and you know you saw it cheaper elsewhere.

I visit here often, their proces are somtimes 30% less than that of Builder and the assistants have a better knowledge than Builders
