Lovely, scenic and serene breakfast spot (yes they do lunch as well), away from the hustle and bustle. I almost forgot that I was in JHB. Only disappointment was that I was not informed that I could also order from the lunch menu. Vegetarian was the order of the day and the breakfast menu was quite limited. Which is fine (I mean there isnt much veg options anyway), but we should have been told that we could order from the lunch menu which was really, really interesting. Will come again for that. The place was also very neat and spacious, with good decor. See you again sometime.

What a gem. I did not know this place existed and where it does? Its magical. Next to a horse training race track. Delicious food. Very good coffee. Bring the family, they will love it, especially if you have smaller kids.

The atmosphere of this Grill and Bar is very relaxed and welcoming. The staff are friendly but they can also be relaxed at times and take a while to attend to you but nothing too agitating.The food is good and the portions are decent. Coming here after the 5km My Run is a great idea, even if its just for a coffee or a glass of water.

Amazing place. Great for young and old. Fantastic for Sunday lunch or even a pub lunch would be perfect. To top it all off, the view is great, the kids play are is well maintained and the food and service is well put together with a wide verity.

Hosted my birthday celebration at The Bullring this past Saturday and I cant thank Leon, Louis, and the rest of the staff enough for making it such a resounding success. From the initial planning meeting right through to the end of the evening, they made sure mine and my guests needs were fully taken care of. Great food, generous portions, professional staff, ample space, and of course, a spectacular view of the race track and nearby lake. The Bullring provides a truly awesome experience. We will definitely return!

Went there for breakfast to celebrate a friends birthday! View was stunning, saw a few horses training 🐎Breakfast was delicious, meals were reasonably priced. Waiters very friendly. All in all a good time was had by all👏👏👏

Awesome service from the waiters with a good variety on the menu. Being right next to the race course youre able to watch the horses and riders practising and running around the track while you enjoy your meal and drinks

What a lovely place right here close to Midstream. We were seated outside under the trees. Had the lamb burger with tzatziki and pesto and a pear & blue cheese salad, ill give them a 5/5 for excellent food.

Cant fault this place. Its in a beautiful setting the decor in the restaurant is very modern & upmarket. Tables are well spaced for social distancing. The service is good and the food is excellent and well priced.

We were there for a birthday party and aside from the place being lovely, the stand out of the Bill Ring was the staff and the service we received. Definitely gonna be going back there.

Great pub, good restaurant and fantastic location with beautiful views over the horse racing ring and paddocks. Service was painfully slow however (40+ minutes for bacon and eggs). Hope it improves and Id like to be back in future.

Excellent venue away from the hustle & bustle of town. Breakfast or lunch while watching the horses train. Breakfast or brunch is highly recommended and I am sure that lunch will be just as good. Excellent service and food from an interesting menu. Not open for dinner.

The gin on tap is just friggen amazing! They only had watermelon the day we went, but the cucumber and mint one is delicious! Its also kid friendly with full view of the racing track. Love this gem and will definitely make it our new regular spot for a peaceful outing.

Reasonably priced food, a good selection, good quality food, friendly and efficient service and its a great place to sit outside and enjoy the view. Nice to not be sitting in a mall or car park. If you go early enough you can watch the horses training for the races. Overall a great experience

It has a tranquil country feel. Definitely sit outside and enjoy the view when you come here. Its also kid friendly. Theres a jungle jym for the little ones thats by the outside tables so you can enjoy a meal with friends while watching your kids run around. The menu is extensive, quite a lot to choose from from salads to burgers to steaks. Vegetarians, gluten intolerant, everything eaters, or keto eaters can all find a dish to order.

Service was very haphazard - definitely no manager in sight on a Sunday. Food was tasty but portions were rather small. No wine list and barman couldnt tell us what wines he had.

This gem is hidden away at the Randjiesfontein racecourse, was the old clubhouse, now a really great restaurant. Chef produced some great stuff. Lots on Gins on tap, great outdoor area and vibe.

The service sucks. They actually charge R12 for a coffee and R20 for a still water. Wont be visiting again soon.And then a broken card machine to top it off.The waiters are more interested in taking calls from lovey than actually serving the patrons.Pathetic!Dont get me wrong... Charge a premium if you want, but be the best. Not the absolute worst.... Ever!

Nice setting and friendly serving staff. If you can teach your Chef what soft eggs and soft bacon means, we will definitly be back. Also check your cutlery, a dirty knife did not create a good impression. Sort out the little details, and you will be tops!
