I took my laptop in for repairs 10 days ago and havent heard anything back. Ive tried calling but have been met by the most frustrating call system ever. I get transfered atleast 7 or 8 times in what seems like a never ending loop of operators. No can seem to tell me anything at all about my laptop and I have no idea what else to do.

Good luck reaching anyone except reception by phone. Service and feedback is ridicilous.

Avoid!The support staff here are rude!I checked in my laptop and personally used the Factory Reset utility...When I got my laptop back this was removed and when I confronted them about it, I was told that Asus does not have recovery partitions on their laptops ... In other words, Im a liar and this was all a vivid dream where Ive been struggling to fix my laptop the last 2 weeks prior to booking it in?I was then basically told I had to choose between my flavour of missing features.So do I want the features missing with their current solution?Or do I want the old build back with the malfunctioning applications?Either way, Im going to be stuck with an Asus ROG laptop thats not functioning fully!!!I would not recommend them EVER!!!!

On the 23/06 I delivered my laptop for diagnostics. Ms Khumalo at the front desk informed me this would take three days and I would receive a call. Four days later-no word. I called them multiple times and was put through to about 8 people who all hung up when I asked for progress.Seven days later I managed to speak to three managers. None had a reason why my laptop was taking so long for diagnostics. They told me that they have doctors and teachers and lawyers all waiting for their pcs, so they were very busy. (I’m from one of those professions by the way)I asked them why a business such as this did not monitor their output target times. Again-‘we are very busy and are attending many workshops’ This is the refrain for why work is not completed on time.Overall,just a disappointing unprofessional business.

Utterly pathetic...I was lied to by the technician and half of my SSD was left completely unallocatedIts so amateurish it hurts!I specifically brought in my laptop so it could be fixed and I could keep my ability to perform an Asus factory reset...Their solution?Reformat the drive and completely remove the Asus recovery partition!!!!!This is so infuriating and pathetic!Words can not begin to explain how mad I am about this situation

After I was placed on hold multiple times and talked to multiple personnel and I had to continually re explain my enquiry.Finally after being on the phone for 27min Marian was finally able to help me, with what I feel was not a to difficult request, I feel like if one of your employees knew more regarding orders it could have been dealt with much faster. It would also be much more helpful if I didnt need to speak to so many people regarding the same question.I suggest you make some changes regarding the efficiency with which you handle telephonic enquiries.

So we tried to send a laptop in under an Asus warranty. First we were told it was a windows issue and that we needed more ram, after I told them it was the hard drive. 24 gig of ram and 3 weeks later the hard drive completely died. We were then referred to a guy called Ian and told to deal with him after we stared going over Rectrons head and talking to Asus SA themselves. Ian is the only reason this place scores any stars. The toss up came in when we went to collect it the last time.We walk in, ask to see Ian, and get told to sit down. 15mins later we ask whats happening and the woman at customer services picks up the phone, calls Ian and litterally 5 seconds later he pops out of the door. Now after having driven the same laptop to them 3 times and now dealing with this we were losing it.Enter the guy who was sitting in the corner with headphones on. He then accuses us, the customer, of being in the wrong because the woman was busy on the phone and couldnt call Ian, not knowing we spoke to the other woman there because again, he was sitting in the corner with headphones on not paying a lick of attention to anything and letting the phone on his desk ring and ring and ring.He then challenged me when I pointed out he had the wrong idea and then kept on verbally going at me until I told him to leave us the hell alone because he was just fighting for the sake of fighting. He then goes back to his little corner and answered the phone as Kevin because he was right next to us.Turns out the guys name is Hein and hes the one in charge... . With leadership like this its no wonder you cant get a damn thing done there without calling contacts in Asus SA, getting put through to the sales team at rectron and then EVEN THEY escalated it to Ian and not Hein because clearly they know the guy is a misery of a human being.If you cant go through Mustek and you absolutely HAVE TO go through Rectron, speak to Ian and dont complain about anything because you will be told you were wrong, not them.Punchline, Asus has really screwed up by getting rectron to be their customer service face here and everyone in online forums are complaining about them.

This took close to 1 and a half months to get 3 screens. I am disappointed and you just lost a customer. I do not recommend Rectron. You guys have gone backwards!1. After ordering and paying for stock, they where out of stock with the screens i ordered.2. Nobody phoned or notified me my order was delayed.3. 4 weeks later i called them and they told me they had stock. So i went to collect my items. They then gave me the wrong product!4. I had to wait a further week for them to rectify the right stock for my order.This is what happens when a company gets too big.

Easy to find It distributor. Note that you need to be registered as a dealer to be able to buy from them. This is not for normal over the counter customer sales. That being said, sales team is fast and reliable and the location is perfect as its between all my clients.
