I was there to book in my laptop for repairs.When I went to the repair department, there was no one to assist me there.I went over to the guard and she asked me to ask the ladies at Customer Returns to see where the guys from repairs are.There was a very rude white lady sitting to the extreme left (when the customer is facing her) of the Customer Return desk.All I asked was if she could assist in checking where the person from the Repairs department was.She was so rude and used a lot of hand gestures saying that I should just sit there and wait and that she is not from that department. She went on to say that it means she needs to wake up from here, go all the way around to the other side, just to check where that person from the Repair department is.This lady should not be dealing with customers because she has no customer service skills.She is a ticking time bomb just waiting to explode and its a pity that her interaction with me brings down the Pinnacle name.
Poor customer service and they take time to respond back or you are lucky if they ever get back to you, and I am always experiencing order delays.
Horrible service again today. (Yes, the 3rd time I waited 2+ hours)Call the sales rep. - No call this person.Call that person. - No answer.Go in to the branch & get told. No ONE there, not a single person, can place an order for me. No manager or supervisor can help.The receptions call someone. - No, I am not by a computer & can’t assist you.She then tells me that there are people in the other building & when she called there was no answer.I then had to walked to the other side of the block (where the back of the premisses is) just to be told there is no sales people.The receptionist there walks up, comes back & hands me the phone of the person who is too lazy to come talk to me directly.Then they stand at the top of a balcony telling me that the other person coming down the stairs can help me. 10min later BOOM order places & to help speed up the process this order will be given on credit & the invoice sent later for payment.I get told I need to go to the cashier to have it released.The cashier says no, we HAVE to pay before taking the goods. When I asked if she can email the invoice to our offices for payment. She says she doesn’t have our details. As I stand there & she doesn’t even ask for any info. Then she gets cross at me because she is not being helpful.After almost starting an argument, she then says to me where I need to go for the invoice.I then get the printer after 40min of waiting. As I collect the printer & sign for it I get told I can go now.As I leave the cashier can call me back & tell me that I need to pay. Just to tell me 1min later no you can go.When I called & complain about his, I just get told - No I am not the person in charge of this department, let me give you their cell quickly.I just said goodbye & hang up before I said something.All this trouble & fighting for 1 printer.Everyone wanted to give excuses. We don’t have these issues with other suppliers.If it wasn’t for the one lady that helped me place the order this would have been a 1-star review.Update:They called my boss & apologized while saying that they will do their best to prevent this from happening again.Here is a free tip. Send your staff for complaints handling training & tell them to never stop trying to assist a client. If the person who can help isnt answering, call someone else & keep going till the issue is resolved so that they must always be thinking how to help not how they cant help.
Stars downnto 1. Would give 0 if possible. Waiting now for almost an hour to collect my laptop that was repaired last week already. Nobody seems to know whats going on here... and who knows how much longer I have to wait....Update: just been told they have a system error which is completely unrelated to my repair but I have to wait until they repair their system before I can received my laptop. This beyond crazy...Update: still waiting. Have now been told to come back on Wednesday. Have requested to talk to a manager. Lets see
Quite possibly the worst service I have ever experienced. I waited 3 weeks just to receive a quote. Would not reccomend using this service at all. There are many alternatives in the same area who can help a lot more efficiently

Had to take my pc in for repairs, which the provider has directed me to Pinnical. They carry the warranty for the manufacturer in my area. Honestly... I have never had to fight and be so rude to get a response from a company. I asked for an update on the mail received to confirm the booking and to ask questions.A week later I asked for an update and no response by the second week. I got the company I bought it through involved where they asked them to reply quickly... yes it was with threats to get Lenovo involved. The afternoon I really got rude in my response again for an update which ended up in my pc being repaired miraculously and could collect.All I can say is good luck when taking in something for repairs at Pinnical.Just an added update. The complaints department has really taken responsibility and that is why this has gone from one star to three just on the effort to apologize for everything that happened.
Bought a new Dell from Makro, 3593, took it back on the 4th day as it was terribly slow. Bought Friday, opened box Saturday updated Saturday, Sunday try to use it. Not happy. As a pensioner no transport I took it back on Tuesday morning. Makro wont refund or give exchange. Said Pinnacle must inspect in case I fiddled or swopped parts. What I know about a laptop is dangerous. Anyhow pinnacle have my laptop and 1 month later its still in their warehouse. No communication at all. MAKRO HAVE MY MONEY, PINACLE HAVE MY LAPTOP AND I HAVE NOTHING. WHOSE ROBBING WHO HERE? IM THE LOSER XXXXXX
Service was terrible. Had to keep phoning for a followup as the salesman didnt. Eventually after waiting long for my stock the manager gets involved and arranges next day shipping only for the wrong product to be shipped. This is the second time in a month I have experienced poor service.

This place needs to get more orginised. They have a website thats completely not updated with what they actually have and even if you do confirm via telephone you might still get disapointed. Pricing not good. Considering its a distributor you can pick up better deals at online retailers.

The past few weeks dealing with this place has been an absolute nightmare.When I call for an update on repairs I can never get through to the person I need to speak to. Someone answers the phone and puts me through to them but then the phone just rings and rings - so much so that it just goes back to reception. When I call the direct line there is no answer. Pinnacle should know that repairing laptops is something that should not be done at a leisurely pace, since people use these things for work. Why does is take so long to get any kind of answer from this company? When I finally give up trying to get an answer from this ridiculous place and just drive there to collect my pc, it takes about another 20 minutes just for them to give it to me. I dont understand: I have rejected the quote and owe you no money - all you have to do is hand my pc, yet I have to sit at the counter for 20 minutes and watch the staff as they watch soccer. My time is important to me so maybe the staff at Pinnacle can learn to respect their clients time.
