It’s honestly scary that this place is the only listed repair service provider in Gauteng for HP. I wonder what an HP executive would think if they had to go undercover and book in a unit for repair. Front office staff are sorely lacking soft skills. When booking in my unit, the gentleman who attempted to do the intake could not understand that I did not want my unit repaired immediately, rather I wanted it assessed. Thankfully, the manager arrived and sped up the process. Props must be given to the manager, seems to be the only competent person present. Ensure Services has a listed opening time of 08h00 but by 08h30 the office was still being cleaned and vacuumed.When I came to Ensure to collect my unit, the lady at the front desk was coughing and looked quite ill. She was also wearing her mask below her nose until I brought it to her attention. I asked to speak to the manager to advise that she should go for a covid test, and when he arrived he seemed just as sick as her. It’s really disappointing and dangerous that Ensure Services do not encourage their staff to get tested and stay away from work if they’re symptomatic.As for the actual assessment of my laptop, what a disappointment. I was told there was nothing wrong with my unit and that all diagnostics had been run. The first time I switched on my laptop after collecting it from Ensure, it booted up with an HP battery error. It also still randomly powers off.The worst experience ever. HP seriously need to re think their partnership with Ensure.

I have had a good experience here. Our stylus pen bundled with an HP spectre x360 laptop stopped working properly for a lengthy time. I bought it through Evetech and their HP account manager helped me very well.The issue seemed to have been windows driver based because the pen started working on that day after the laptop updated its windows once again.I felt very silly and know how it must have looked. But I was still handled with friendliness and care. They still insisted to swap out the pen to avoid the potential of an intermittent issue.Thank you for the good service and apologies for the inconvenience I caused by assuming it is a hardware fault. I just had now way of properly determining if the issue lies with windows as I could not find anyone else with an HP stylus up to that point.Thanks again!

It all started with my screen that had a few dead pixels on my laptop, it is a 144hz screen so I understand it would take longer to import but 3 weeks was just crazy, as I went to HP in Menlyn myself and they said 3 -5 days max.Then when they fixed my screen, it was placed in very skew! Very noticeable, so I took it back and they fixed it in a few minutes. Kelvin working there must have the best patience ever as I noticed I am not the only customer struggling with Ensure Services bad service. Just want to say thank you to him for helping me, but Ensure Services need to up their service delivery as it is bad, but the people are good. I give Ensure Services 1 star but Kelvin and Reception the rest go to you guys!

Wrong diagnosis. Did not repair my HP Envy but charged me 5000. Then asked me to comeback but could not solve my problem. They however acknowledged their mistake and the need to compensate me for part of the charges.

Hi I decided to look these people up as I was not happy with the response I received for a simple question that DID need somebody however to show some iniative. My word what a terrible track record and I will not even bother to drive all the way to try my luck so will give the business to some local small business and as for HP I have had it with them too.Both my lap top and now my 12 c faulty keys which the HP shop assistant says it was my fault.Wake Up All of You

Useless, only rating to get them down to one star which they deserve.Edit: Due to this being seen more often, I thought Id go into detail so the public does not just think I am bitter:- Said an internal fire on the laptop was client induced damage(that I had caused it)- Called multiple times asking for approval of the quote after I informed them it was under warranty- On 2 occasions told me the device was NOT under warranty, 5 minute check online confirmed that it was- Repaired the laptop under another ticket number, asked me to pay when picking it up after confirming that I didnt have to pay after all- Never replaced the charger which also caught on fire, had to buy another at R800- Took 2 months from when I brought it in to get it back

I booked my laptop in on Tuesday 16 Feb 2021, they told me to wait up to 3 working days for a quote on repairs. On Friday 19 Feb I still did not have an answer or quote or any communication. I called 7 times and no one answered. On Monday 22 Feb I called over 20 times and no one answered. I then drove there and once I arrived they said they will have a look at the laptop (meaning no work had been done in the previous week) they then told me the problem and said they need an additional 30 days to repair my laptop. To which I said no thank you because I can honestly do it in less time myself. I do not recommend you take your equipment there and nor do I recommend you try contact them once its been delivered. Very disappointed.

My HP Laptop arrived at Ensure on the 10th of February and ever since then I have been told that its a 3-5 day waiting period for parts, its almost April and since then Ive been told theyve ordered wrong parts or there was a miscommunication and to wait another 3-5 working days for the right part... I dont know If this is apathy or incompetence but this is by far the worst service I have ever received in my life. theres no communication and I feel im purposely being kept in the dark about the actual status of things. Ive lost thousands of rands in lost work so far ( I am a freelancer in the film industry) had I known it would take this long I would have broken the warranty and gotten someone more competent who actually cares to address the issue. I am shocked that a large company like HP has this sort of service provider. Pathetic.

Following my review I was contacted telephonically by Ensure and by HP South Africa.The two conversations were very much the same: They asked me what the issue was. I replied that I had already spelt it out on Hello Peter and in emails to W. Major at Ensure. I in turn asked them why they were phoning me and not replying in writing. Their reply was ...mumble, mumble, waffle, waffle...It seemed that their calls were just something they had to do for the sake of procedure. I think they will not respond in writing for fear of exposing their laziness, incompetence and ignorance.

Great in person logging, had a horrible experience with communication during the quotation phase. I was promised a 2-3 day turn around time but only got feedback 2 weeks later. They need to do better competency wise and general communication. Still waiting for my PC to be fixed 🤷🏾‍♂️

The worst service experience in years. Wait is long an hour first time 40minutes second time, only one or two assistants at front desk, not knowledgeable about offering, poor communication, no management support, front desk say management dont listen to customer complaints. No direct line to follow up on repairs. Waited 6 weeks for printer repair. If you can find an alternative repair center, do so.

Paid upfront 19 October because I accidentally spilt tea over my HP laptop they waited for a part 21 days. Nevertheless I managed to collect my work laptop 13 November to find upon collection they broke my mouse pad left button. Luckily I inspected before leaving. They then returned and I waited for an hour whereby I was told I should rather go they would deliver the following Monday. Payment office confused as they though I had to pay again and wanted a vat letter 😠 and as off today I am still waiting my urgent laptop. I have responded to their service feedback but clearly it goes to waste

Took my HP printer here, as they are the repair center for HP. luckily my printer was within its warranty period and was free to repair. Repair was done within a week, and was informed every step of they way. definitely good customer service.

Having the experience of being a warranty workshop supervisor in the South African IT Distribution industry for quite a few years. The service delivered by the Midrand branch of Ensure serve as a prime example of how not to do it. First time around I felt like a criminal coming in, being searched for weapons and filling in form after form which seemed really redundant. Security staff and usher were really unfriendly. Assuming I get acknowledged it is more as a nuisance than a client?!Both times I brought in the item under a warranty claim, it was dismissed and we were asked to pay for the full repairs. I have been an IT technician for more than a decade! I think I can competently spot a warranty claim when it is one, otherwise I would repair it myself.On my second visit to the offices I felt treated again as a war criminal. I am anxious every-time I have to go to your offices and deal with your staff. It is about as much a pleasant experience as a visit to the dentist.My end user has already lost faith in the brand (an asus notebook) and in your ability to support it, which means now our purchases will be adjusted.

I took my laptop to Ensure IT Services in Midrand and the service was absolutely incredible. The staff were helpful and friendly, the turnaround time was less than two days and I was regularly notified of the progress. This service was such a change from the norm, including the service given to us at Digital Planet, where I was expected to pay for the repair and courier service, despite the laptop still being under warranty. No effort was made on their part.Thank you so much for such a wonderful, smooth and respectful experience, I will certainly recommend Ensure IT Services to anyone in the future.

The worst experience I ever had with a notebook - enough reason not to buy a Dell.Took in a Dell that worked except for the Lan and Wifi connection. I understand it is the motherboard, but got quote back for R44k to fix. I rejected the quote and picked up the PC. Now it is dead and they claim that was always the case! Now it is my word against the technician. If you can avoid this company, you will have a more relaxed life.They were also very rude to my driver.

Ensure charged me more than the actual price of my laptop to replace my motherboard which had mild water damage. I decided to reject their quote and get a second opinion from another place. Turns out the mother board didnt even need to be replaced, only cleaned. Ensure didnt even screw my laptop back together properly. It is exceptionally disappointing that places like this are allowed to operate in this manner. All they seems to aim for is replacing instead of repairing. Poor workmanship and overall terrible experience. I will never recommend Ensure and am baffled at how they even appeared on Dells preferred supplier/repairer website.

I took in my Dell laptop that wasnt switching on. R450 book in fee. cool. get a quote from them for R36000. after wiping the puke from my mouth i decided to decline as my laptop cost half that new. After taking my friends advice i took it to a place called Xtreme Computers who found comparitively minor faults and were able to repair it perfectly for R4600 with no booking in fees. Going to Ensure is signing up to be robbed.

The manager, Wesley, really helped to make my laptop repair as quick as possible. I was notified of the part delivery, as well as all process communication. The customer experience I had with Wesley was exceptional. My laptop had also been cleaned upon receiving it.The general customer service at the entrance was okay - and I can understand why other individuals may not be as satisfied with their service.

We bought an HP Officejet Pro 6960 printer about 2-3 years back and now when it needs repair , Ensure says we do not manufacture spares for it any more. We have Canon printer working since 2006. Shocking service, cost and experience....the manager got everything wrong (estimate time was 3 days instead of 1 and cost over R2000 instead of just over R1000).The over inflated process and importance of the over inflated number of staff is really not what customers want.But....since they get all Macro repairs I guess they dont have to be competitive no longer.And even more unnaceptable is the open ridicule and sarcasm when communicating with customers. The ladies there this morning should not ever service customers.

Incredible and professional service from a team, led by Service Manager Wesley, who went above and beyond the call of duty to service my HP laptop. Wesley lobbied HP to provide the required parts (initially HP wouldnt do so as the laptop was not in warranty, but later they did and then they surpassed my expectations), he constantly communicated with me, allowed me to wait for my laptop while his team rapidly assessed the problem, allowed me to keep the laptop till the required parts arrived, then fixed everything in record time, reducing my inconvenience to an absolute minimum. Kudos to Wesley, Jan, Rithie and Khanyi for world-class service. Any organisation, globally, would be proud to deliver such great service.Regards, Glenda

Quotes ridiculous amount of money to repair printer without even looking at it. went to another repair company and they quoted on the correct fault. Gave my friend the runaround with his laptop repairs, then gave it back to him after a week and said there was nothing wrong with it when it was still broken. Took it to a small company Ive always trusted - LONEHILL COMPUTERS and they fixed it in half a day. Dont bother with this company.

Once laptop is booked in, one waits days for response, and weeks for repair. The companies name should be No Services instead of Ensure Services. Once I went to collect my laptop that was not even opened to assess any issue, I took it to Locanet in Centurion where I was helped in 15 minutes, problem solved.

Had a laptop screen repair done @ Ensure Services in Midrand and the service was okay, not much client interaction - Communication between myself and the branch via email was great they kept me updated on the progress of my laptop - The price for repair was reasonable - I received my laptop after 2 weeks waiting patiently fixed and without any damage.
