A lovely little spot! Big Bad Wolf is perfect for take-aways of casual sit-downs.The decor is well done, and the painted wolf mural is beautiful.The pizza is delicious and the cocktail menu is great.Waiters and bar staff are friendly and helpful. Just be prepared to wait up to 45 minutes for your food, even if the restaurant isn’t very busy.

A lovely pizzeria and gin bar that has just opened up in the Crowthorne area in Midrand. It has a modern intimate setting. I loved the pizza, its gone on my top fave list. The pizza has a thin crispy base which is lovely. The staff is very friendly and the service is excellent.

This little piggy isn’t afraid of the Big Bad Wolf in fact she boldy went there and indulged in some great Pizza and Desserts!This quaint Pizza shop in situated in Crowthorne Shopping Centre. It has been years since I was last this side of town. It’s got a limited menu i.e 10 Pizza options, and I would say that the types of Pizza’s on offer are more for the adventurous kind of palette, as it’s not your usual toppings.  They also have 3 types of Salads and 2 Desserts, and then cocktails.To start off with Drinks, I noticed the Moscow Mule on the menu (single batch imported Vodka, Lime Juice, Ginger Beer and Soda.) So I couldn’t say no to this, even though between Pete and Lee, they mentioned a new cocktail called the Black Widow, which my sister decided to give it a try. Activated Charcoal, Spiced Rum, Triple Sec, Lime juice, Honey Syrup, Agnostura Bitters, finished off with Egg Whites. It tasted ok, I wasn’t completely sold, even though it looked stunning, I much rather enjoyed my Moscow Mule.As you know I am a bacon lover, I had to order the “Percy” – Tomato, Streaky Bacon, Roasted Asparagus (yes I was skeptical about this part), Caramelised Red Onions, Danish Feta, Avo, and Fior Di Latte Mozzarella. Gorgeous looking Pizza, thin base crust, amazing aromas, and loved the combination of the toppings, and my bacon was cooked properly. The Asparagus was luckily the baby ones, so it wasn’t a major feature on the pizza.  My sister had the “Boris” Tomato, Salami, Danish Feta, Caramelised Jalapeno Chilli as well as the Mozzarella. Also, lovely thin crust, amazing flavour and my sister loved it.We didn’t polish off the entire pizza, as we wanted to try the desserts, so we asked Lee for one of each. Beautifully presented, perfectly executed, the smell from the Passion Fruit was lovely, and it had that “sexy” wobble as one of my fellow foodies like to call it.  I think the only issue we had was the Crème Brulee’s caramelized sugar topping was a bit too hard to “crack”, but it terms of texture and taste it was spot on.To end off the meal, Pete convinced us to try there locally roasted Coffee’s. Ordered a pizza and pasta for take away from BBW, the pizza was good - fresh, thin base and tasty ingredients but unfortunately the pasta was extremely disappointing - far too few prawns and an extremely small portion for the money.I have given it a try but I dont think its close to the quality and value you get from (my current favourite in the area) Hello Tomato.

Incredible Pizzas!Update: pricing has been rectified, thank you for making my favorite drink affordable again 😊BUT - I was quite shocked to be charged R50 per tot of Disaronno! I queried this price with our waitress who admitted this was not the first time a customer had complained of the price of Disaronno but management were yet to fix this. I pay roughly that amount for a double tot at all other establishments, so to be charged R100 for a double tot was a big shock when getting the bill!Will go back but please fix the price of Disaronno - then I will give 5 stars

Amazing Pizza, the base is super thin, light and crunchy and they use good quality ingredients, the ones you can actually taste. Plus, the cocktails are great too. Over all a super enjoyable experience.

Pizza are good but way over priced. Sorry but a Pizza for R 200 should be outstanding, not just acceptable. Although its a small place, you often have to wait for drinks etc.

Wonderful Pizza, great atmosphere and the Panna Cotta was amazing! Wonderful place! Oh and its inside the shopping centre.

A definite hidden gem! The pizza is absolutely delicious. There is a small selection but they are willing to adapt to suit your tastes. The decor is modern, contemporary and inviting. There is a wide offering at the bar as well as great specials on offer.

Staff need training.The waiters dont understand what vegan means or what the vegan options are. We were actually sent to another restaurant before asking the manager.The male waiters dont listen to instructions.The waiters and manager stood skinnerring about us in full view and earshot.The pizza dough is under salted but the rosemary is a nice touch.The condiments are cheap. Not real garlic. Awful slimy pickled chilies. Lacked authenticity or flavor.Considering the above two points, the pizza is over-priced.The decor is different, original.After insisting on Gugu/Precious serving us - she was friendly and efficient.We would probably not return for an eat-in but might have considered take away if the cost was market related. Went to big bad wolf for dinner this evening. We had great service but the price of the food and the portion sizes were absolutely ridiculous. We ordered a caprese salad for R114 rand and it arrived and was no bigger than my hand. So over priced I could not even believe it. I found it excessively expensive for what we got.

Not a such a great experience .GM giving kak to staff in front of customers .do it behind door s close no when ppl is tryng to enjoy a drink . F&B is a sentitive enviroment. Wont be coming back
