I wasnt satisfied with the outcome of my query, which was no fault of the consultant that was helping me. I just felt like I wasnt getting the attention I should as a customer as he was watching soccer on his phone the whole time while helping me. I was a lot more patient than I should have.

It was a rather long session that lasted for two hours for an upgrade because of systems slowness and we are talking about covid where we have to reduce the queues as much as possible..George(staff)that assisted me was so nice..updating me every step of the upgrade process..welldone to him..the rating was because of his great customer service.This is a call to MTN south africa to please upgrade their systems to give their customers..both internal(mtn shop staff) and external(people like me)great experience.

When I went to the store for a new contract, the staff asked for lots of unnecessary documents. He looks like trying his best to stop me from signing a contract with his company or ask for some tips. Really terrible experience. So I took the same document to another store. The contract was signed in 20 mins there.

I have tried to upgrade my data contract twice now since January 2021. Twice now the order has been cancelled with no response back to me. I had to sit again on a call waiting for a consultant to assist me for 20 min just so she can tell me she does not know why. Then I asked her to cancel my contract. She cant do that either. Its ridiculous.. I have to now go into a store to do the cancellation!!!! Its the worst service ever!

There are few agents working inside causing longer waiting time. The agent was also unable to help as she seemed uniformed about their own systems. I wanted to have my account changed from debit to cash and she said the call center agents on 083 135 are the ones to do it. This is after they told me to go to the shop now the shops sends me back to the call center that I called and was put on hold only to be cut off 18 mins later without resolution . What a pathetic service MTN has!!!!

Its most the decent sized MTN franchiser store but you have to get your things ready prior to get sign up any deals with them...or else you going to end waiting in the long queues during peak hours.About 8 counters you going to get consult your requests ,Trading hours from 8.00 to 8.00 on weeks days and 9.00 to 8.00 on weekends.

Pathetic and poor service . It took more than 2 hours to get hold of some one to process our contract and despite waiting so long the service we received was sub standard , the lady was very rude and did not bother providing us with details or helping us with the contract . She was too busy on the phone. I was told that the contract will be processed within 48 hours but it has since been 2 weeks and no feed back has been given! These people do not answer their phones!!

MTN Insurance: After weve been with them for more than a year, they say we dont exist on their system... Then we have to send our Proof that we have been paying for more than a Year... When we send them the proof it takes them Weeks to fix the problem that they admit was a mistake on their side. (Ive got it on mail where they admit its their mistake and they will fix it) It almost looks like its a little show they run, since they dont want to approve our first ever claim. Watch out for them.

These stores are really hit or miss. The peoe helping you are friendly but can really not be informative when their system is down. You can have an entire converation about what you want and at the end they will reply with... system is down. Need to work on that. If everything is up they usally help you with what you want pretty quick.

Was a very different experience from the beginning to the end. When we entered the store, the only available personal on the extreme left was busy typing on his phone, and we could not get his attention despite attempts from myself (around 3.30pm on 5th January 2017). We left the store due to disgust. We later returned around 4.30pm and were served by an outstanding gentlemen who helped us with the contract that we required. Very different experiences within an hour

Bought a new sim today, paid 500 ZAR in cash for data package but afterwards seems we didnt get any data package at all. So the person in the store sold us a 500 ZAR sim and didnt do anything for the data. Custumer service couldnt help.

I received phenomenal service from Dikeledi Matlhagare in the MTN Mall of Africa store (opposite Game) this morning. It took less than 30 mins to approve my deal and because one of the items was not available in store, she offered to collect it from a different store in Midrand and personally bring it to my office. Dikeledi is extremely professional, friendly and helpful. MTN you have a 5 star employee and I hope that you look after her. She deserves a promotion. Incredible service... thank you.

Lets start correctlyNo issues with management and neither with the staff but MTN directly and the regional managerI did a upgrade for the S8+ in December, I was supposed to get a voucher with the upgrade made, to date no voucher with my Samsung deviceThe booklet of MTN states with any compatible device for Samsung, now I am told, no only with Samsung original accessory, asked the store manager to let their regional manager phone me - Pillay/ Govender has not done so to date and still no voucherAgain nothing against the manager of the store or his sales team but MTN and regional you don’t take into consideration of your customer
