Not trustworthy or ethical.I phoned their salesperson in the afternoon, he agreed to bring vehicle for me to test drive the following morning. He clearly stated the vehicle was available. Next morning he phoned to say a third party had signed an offer on the car.In my opinion, I was first in the que and they should have given me first option.

Very friendly staff. Notified me of a recall campaign I didnt even know about when it went in for a service. My car was cleaned from top to bottom with detail I havent seen in a long time. Salesman went the extra mile after the test drive to showcase other new vehicles to keep me up to date of the brand developments. Probably my favourite dealership to date.

After a wonderful service Ive always enjoyed from this dealership for years, the last time I took my car in for service in October 2020, the service logbook was removed from my car. someone from their workshop stole the book. Im disgusted to say the least.

Having battery problems (car still under motor plan) and went to take my car in to the dealership and the level of rude was unbelievable. The first person told me they can’t help me because they are off in 30min and the next person was just condescending. So now taking my car to MINI Northcliff because atleast I know that they are gentle and understanding towards customers. I’m really disappointed at the fact that this is my nearest dealership

The tread on my tyre stripped off my X5 late on Friday afternoon in the middle of nowhere in the Free State. Chatted with BMW Midrand. Saturday morning, a whole new rim and tyre was brought to me and replaced. Neil was great. Sent me a courtesy message telling me when he would be there, did a sterling job. The whole experience was world class! You can be proud of your business and your team!

I took my car in for a service on 18/02/21 at BMW Midrand. I was told BMW doesnt do pick ups due to covid-19 even though they do drop offs.I then decided to confirm that new arrangement with the other BMW dealerships and I was told there is no such arrangements, BMW still does drop offs and pick ups.When my car was ready for collection, I then asked Dewald (sp) why are they saying there are no picks up and he provided the following 4 inconsistent reasoning:1. Due to covid-192. Their drivers are only available in the morning3. They only provide pick ups for Midrand residents only (I stay in Tembisa)4. They are privately owned and thus they do not operate in the similar manner as the other BMW dealerships.After being provided with reason no.1, I asked the logic behind it because theres covid-19 nationally, then he moved to reason no.2Upon mentioning that I am aware that their dealerships does pick ups for customers of different race and location to mine, he then gave me reason no.3then I asked if that is the case, why did they agree to service my car...I do not appreciate their dishonesty in how they operate and the lack of sincerity in the inconvenience they cause.(Ive been servicing my car at MINI Bedfordview and even when cars/drivers where not available, they would request Uber for their customers)

Well, disappointedly apparently they dont do pickups anymore. Since when? I didnt even bother asking. I guess its your problem to find your way to the dealership to collect your car. Surprisingly, they drop you off in the morning when bringing in your car for a service.🤨

SELLING CARS WITH NON BMW APPROVED PARTS IN THEM 😡!!!They sold me a BMW approved used car with motorplan but fake parts in it. Found this out when something broke and I took it to another BMW dealership to get it fixed and it was found that there were fake parts in the car. After contacting BMW Midrand and BMW South Africa they refused to fix the part since it was fake and will not replace the fake parts with original ones.It was never disclosed to me that the car I was buying had fake parts and modifications to it.On the BMW Approved Used site the selling points for why you should buy an BMW approved used car is to avoid situations like this.They also are accepting to responsibility for selling me a car with non BMW Approved Parts.

Have to change my rating as Im disappointed, 4 months ago my car went for a aircon service and regas, last week Monday I sent it back as the gas had again leaked and the aircon was only getting slightly cold, was told its the aircon pump and will cost 23k to fix it, I somehow dont even think it was checked properly due to it being a comeback, as I was told they assume its the aircon pump, they removed all the gas and where it was previously getting slightly cold does not get cold whatsoever now, they also asked me at 4pm if they can keep the car another day as they did not know what the issue was and when I said the car was needed that night they suddenly said its the aircon compressor... When I collected my car they didnt even bother cleaning it and the terminal cover was just left lying in the center consol inside and not even put back where its supposed to be in the engine bay, Im very disappointed as I believe the Forman has now just said something he believes to be wrong so because its so expensive he wont a comeback again

Sat outside my office waiting for a scheduled pickup that never arrived. Called twice, was transferred to an extension that rang indefinitely and then dropped. Then after the phone was just never picked up. 25min after my scheduled pickup time I finally get a call from the driver saying he is at the dealership and needs directions which is at best 25 minutes away in traffic. Safe to say this dealership cares very little about customers if they are happy to leave their customers high and dry for close on an hour.

Ultimate rip-off and lies!!!I bought a 2019 BMW X5; with 8000km. Car registered in Jan 2020.Guess what: old 2018 types fitted; non-run flat; and all 4 tyres patched.I put my kids and my life at risk.BMW is completely unscrupulous. COMPLETELY UNSCRUPULOUS...UNBELIEVABLE

Well positioned BMW dealership, aesthetic pleasing. I pass the dealership every morning before sunrise and the showroom is almost every day differently lightend or displayed that makes it quite appealing to the eye.Entry and exit roads is well planed and easy to access.BMW has always been one of the most upper class vehicles and includes good after sales service.

CAUTION: Fake Warranty & terrible workmanship.Careful it seems that this dealer won’t guarantee their own workmanship or uphold the BMW Brand’s promise.So word of caution before dealing with them, the possibility of your vehicle being returned with more problems it went in with exists.From my experience I can report that recently they have replaced a part on my car with a Faulty part and now they say they can’t replace the faulty part under warranty again unless I pay to replace another unrelated part that is in good working order (sounds fishy right). To make matters worse, they didn’t replace all the bolts on the bottom cover under the car the last time they worked on it so this time around I highlighted it to them and asked to PLEASE ENSURE they replace ALL bolts. So when I went to fetch my car after 4 days without them honouring the BMW warranty, I noticed they didn’t even bother to replace the entire bottom engine bay cover under the car. They tried to keep the cover for themselves so that I probably had to come back and buy a new one. No wonder they won’t honour the BMW brand promise, or perhaps that’s just their trick to cause other issues so that you can come back and spend more money..?I can only speak from my experiences so if you are considering to send your expensive vehicle there perhaps just do your homework around them, read the below reviews and visit websites such as “Hellopeter” who have many examples of bad service and sadly you’ll also see that BMW SA won’t care much either to respond or rectify these situations. And FYI BMW SA you can save your comments such as “please direct your concerns to ###@bmw.co.za. People see through that! Don’t make like you care on social media and your bad reviews but then not back it up and live up to the international standards of BMW.So just a word of caution, from experience they provide terrible service, try and make you pay for faulty parts which they won’t guarantee and don’t live up to the BMW brand.It’s so Sad to lose Faith in the Brand I Love.
