Hello, thank you for taking the time to follow up. Gives me hope for a better experience next time. I was there this afternoon. Around 14h00. Look the place was pleasant and the young waiter tried, he did say it was his third day or something. He didnt know the prices of your brandy special or if you had a pool table on the premises or not, I figured he should at least have known that. He was very eager but not informed at all on whats going on. And on top of that the black label quart I orders was not cold. It was not hot either, just not what Im used to. The standard of service in all the pubs in the vaal is so high that I could not rate you establishment higher. But at the same time I will be back to see if it was just a badly timed visit and after your waiter has had some time to settle in. He is a nice boy and seems very bright, so he saved the situation and is the reason I will come back again for another visit. You may think Im unreasonable rating you badly as a result of those small faults, but as I said the level in the vaal is high. Been here a few times already over a period of 4 years. theyve expanded a little. Good prices on their food and beverages.

Food good and very reasonable prices. Although the waiter did get my order wrong and the music was way too loud for a Saturday morning. Other than that it was good.

Wow. I tried the Geckos basket for the first time and it is actually amazing and truly value for money.

They close at 11pm but they wont answer your calls after 7pm

This is such a great local pub to go and have an awesome time! The owner and his girlfriend are super nice and very involved with their patrons. They have an awesome jukebox and everyone that hangs out tbsre just has a blast and gets on so well with everyone else as well as new comers.
