Enjoyed my stay with my family. Service the best ever, very friendly stuff assisting when you need help. Weather was not that good for animals to be around the river but had a refreshing week at Riverview. Need to revisit again. Thanks to the great stuff members.

Good day,My name is Alan Levitan. My wife and I are both pensioners and we recently booked a holiday in Kruger National Park and surrounding areas.As we are all aware our country has been through a terrible time recently with Covid-19 and we have all had our ups and downs through different stages of lockdown since March 2020.My wife and I were really looking forward to visiting our favorite destination in South Africa, Kruger National Park.My booking for this holiday was at Riverview Inn, Kruger National park, Sambonani lodge and Crocodile Bridge Safari Lodge.I was made aware when booking at Riverview Inn that there was no refund on reservations if we canceled, However our president Cyril Rhamaphosa closed down all traveling in July when we had the third wave.People were not allowed to leave the province in which they resided. Based on this instruction from our president I had no alternative but to cancel all accommodation.Every venue except for Riverview Inn gave me a credit note or allowed me to rebook for next year. No venue penalized me except for Riverview Inn.Mr. Y de Villiers, made it very clear that there is no refund due to me or a credit note, even though it was not my fault that I could not travel. I understand that if I canceled the booking I would lose my deposit. The fact that I could not travel was not a fault of my own but it was a ruling from the president of our country.Surely this is unforeseen circumstances, Mr. Y de Villiers could have given me a credit note.He has the temerity to challenge my intelligence. I find his response in extremely poor taste.A person like this should not be in the hospitality industry. He and Riverview inn can gladly keep my R800 and not refund it to me and I sincerely hope that all readers of this review do not make use of Riverview Inn and rather book elsewhere.You would think in these trying economic times when people are not traveling to holiday destinations, Riverview Inn could have been more accommodating and try and retain me as a future guest.

Stunning location but did not bother to spend the night when staff meets you half naked(shorts only-no shirt) and without masks. So much for health and safety!!!! Really...?? What planet are you from?? Obviously you do not care about health and safety. You may have the best views on earth- my safety comes first! Goodbye

Relatively new place but good value for money. Had a view to crocodile river and we could see a family of elephants who go there everyday for water. The service was good and the rooms in great condition.

Wide and open view. Food is ok. Deck is awesome. Ample parking. Fair price. Place is still new. All in all worth it.

Place run by young people, just outside the kruger park near the gate. Economic and with a splendid view of the river and park. The cleanest swimming pool found in South Africa and the breakfast is also good and cheap. Polite and helpful staff. Recommended.

Incredibly beautiful facility! This view of the Kruger National Park! Food is absolutely great. Unfortunately, no alcohol may be served, but you can help yourself in the supermarket and drink the drinks by the pool or in the restaurant. Service is also very nice. Highly recommended!

We had a good time, it was just magic, the place is great you can watch the crocodiles during the day and at night.Just the food not great, but it was magic THANK YOU.

Beautiful property surrounded by nature, overlooking the river and bordering the Kruger National Park. During daylight hours it is possible to see many animals simply by poolside. Negative note the kitchen with little choice. Well kept rooms and very spacious, very nice owners.

A wonderful spot of earth. Very clean, calm and the food was delicious. Unfortunately you do not have a liquor license, so no glass of wine to eat. The view was fantastic, we were able to watch the elephants eating and playing all afternoon.

Very friendly staff who help at any time. The rooms are clean and very well equipped. The view from the balcony and the terrace of the Kruger National Park is great. You can see the elephants from the balcony. For the price you get a lot in the accommodation.The gate to the national park is close by. But you should be there very early - but that affects all gates.Thank you for the lovely stay
