Great food, service not always good though, but a great vibe.

Great service. Blueberry cheesecake was delicious. Freshly baked. Loved it. Unfortunately, tap water was brown so we couldnt have that.

Coffee is great!!! Bit pricey but the food is good. Also service is pretty good, efficient. My bit of advice... dont have the the toffee peanut latte. The hot milky coffee flavoured peanut butter was a little nauseating... it would best be served cold. But do love the selection of salads...

It was lovely until we uncounted a racist old white man who apparently frequents the restaurant. We are colored and were visiting my son who has recently joined the army. He was extremely rude towards us and the managements excuse was that there was something wrong with his mind?? Apparently there was a previous incident with the same man who called another individual the K word and the police were called. I guess I just wonder why the restaurant keeps allowing such an individual onto their premises...why promote such behavior? Because of this experience I will not visit this restaurant again. :-(

Besides the food, what makes this space cosy and enjoyable is the staff. Excellent service, great atmosphere for a power lunch, brunch, or solo escape away from the hustle of the world. It has great selection of heart warming food for everyone.

I find that food on the menu is overpriced. If youre one for a quiet restaurant whereby you can sit and think whilst eating, this is the restuarant for you.

Ive been now 2 times where the service has been so bad I have had to cancel the the breakfast order .Amazingly the manager then lies and sais order placed 15 mins ago.Either the waiter does not place order or its a farce as i placed order as I arrived 9 h15 and cancelled at 9h49Waiters dont tell you whats happening .Seem to not care .Manager closeted in the back.Sad as the food when you get it is good .With 10 patron s how does it take so longI could cook it in 5 minsVery Very poor and rude to boot

I enjoyed the vegan hot chocolate, though expensive in my opinion. The Vegan breakfast, avo toast, was nice. I had it on GF bread. It was a filling meal. Staff at the Grahamstown branch was very friendly.

The now more limited menu is not that appealing. As a non-coffee/tea drinker my options are severely limited... As a non-pork/red meat eater the options again are quite limited. The Grahamstown M&B has friendly staff and is clean.

A nice cosy Mugg & Bean in Grahamstown. Unfortunately it wasnt on the GPS under restaurants. We drove around looking for a place to have a bite and by accident saw Mugg & Bean.

Today I visted Mugg & Bean Grahamstown, I was greated by a very timid & shy yet friendly waitress.I tried placing an order with her two or three times from their vegetarian meal options, unfortunately she had to run to the kitchen each time to find out if they had stock. In the end I decided to settle for avo on toast which had some salad toppings on, when it arrived I noticed that it was more a cucumber sandwich.I felt too bad to bother the already timid waitress, but I do feel that the management/owners of this branch should step up and empower their employees to be able to deliver quality service by at least stocking the requirements of the meals on the menu.

You looking for a heathly and filling meal you grotto pop into the mug. Friendly staff and a great menu. In grahamstown there are so many choices to go have a meal but this one takes you back to home. If you from Cape Town or Johannesburg it will feel like home. Amazing blends of coffee to keep you going for the day. Criag the owner is very accomadating and want you to have a meal and company that you will enjoy. Great stories and interesting visit
