Excellent breakfast. Great value and fine service. Also, lo e the slightly postmodern ambiance, especially the fountain.

For 10 percent compulsory tip, you would expected service, a menu where one doesnt need a user manual to read the menu and bigger mushrooms to make the burger the way its suppose to look.P.s dont go here if your hungry. Youll starve to death before you get your meal. Not to mention the time it takes to get drinks. And why leave a call button when they ignore it. We recommend management be an example, maybe the waitning staff will fall in line.

The restaurant looks beautiful, very pleasing aesthetically. The food looks pretty too however, it does not taste the best. Everything my table ordered lacked flavour and was bland at best. The ribs didnt have a sauce. The prawns were not well cooked. The burgers dont have sauce. The waiting staff was friendly but the manager was rude. She even used vulgar language, all because we were taking a picture. Not worth it, I would not recommend.

Did the right thing and tried to call to make a reservation, to no avail. Sent a Whatsapp, only to be answered a day later. Utterly disappointed based on a previous visit. Anyhow we went to the Highlander and we had an awesome evening.....................Thank you for the feedback. I went to the Whatsapp link and replied, only received feedback 24 hours later.🤷‍♂️

After waiting 40 minutes to get 4 drinks we never saw our waiter (manager/owner) again for the next 2 hours until we left. When we complained about it, her response was simply You guys said you are fine. Manager was also rude as other customers have mentioned.

This is one of the nicest eateries in Grahamstown. Great menu selection, relaxed bistro style setting with an upmarket look if dining inside.I visited them on 24 April 2021 for the German craft Beer offerings. I ended up eating ther as well, to much delight. Friendly wait staff and relaxed environment. I will definitely return. Very cost effective.

This restaurant, newly reopened has elegant and eclectic decor. Food is wonderfull, service was great, ambience excellent well worth the visit.

Whilst the food is as others rave about, delicious, the hostess/co-owneress is not someone who should be in the hospitality sector. The treatment we received from her was very disappointing.

Its a nice place. But their service is terrible 👎. You wait an hour after ordering to get your food. I had to go the waiters like three times to ask about my order. Moreover I got racist vibes from the other white customers with how much they stare, but I was like Im an African and South Africa is my home. They can stare all they want.

What an amazing restaurant, I enjoyed their food and the complimentary bread with Balsamic vinegar, olive oil and spices and crackers. I ordered hake with onion rings and I think hand cut fries and they were amazing. The DIY hot chocolate was underwhelming. This place is beautiful. I felt like Im not even in GHT when I was there. I felt like I was in Cape Town
