We had a delicious meal. The filo basket is very tasty and portion size was perfect for lunch. Coffee is always good. The decor is pretty and quaint and loo was clean. Lovely staff.

Nice place in a historical building. Good to see that their decor shows the history of the place. Good spot for a quick coffee and dessert although the choice of cakes was quite simple and very European. I would personally be hoping for some local delicacies as the name of the place suggests. They close very much on time so do watch out for that when sipping your coffee in the late afternoon.

Great coffeeshop, in an unexpected place. The food is very, very good. All made with fresh ingredients, and the taste shows it. As a tip, the salmon sandwich was simply perfect.Not to forget, a great espresso as well.

Great selection on the menu and good coffee. The coffee beans can also be bought. My favourite lunch option is their chicken mayo toastie. They recently got a new barista that makes incredible coffee art - exactly what your Instagram/ Facebook feed needs. The waitresses are lovely and its a quiet hideaway while you watch the main road traffic.

Quaint Olde-world kind of a place on the main street in Knysna. Full of character. EXCELLENT carrot cake. Best I have ever eaten. I will be back to sample many interesting items from their lunch menu - and not at all expensive. A must visit!

A beautifully decorated cafe with soft pastels for a calming atmosphere coupled with great food and lovely music. The owner Vanessa was so nice and attentive to us travelling with two young children. Food is wholesome and coffee great. A true oasis! Great for lunch or just for a tea and a pastry and chats!

Oh Wow, I asked someone in Knysnas street where we could find good coffee (she had a take-away cup in hand) and she said African Bean, she had a cup instore and one to take home. What a great experience? Coffee and scons were absolutely great, loved it! And we felt so welcome there, wonderful experience!

This coffee shop offers probably the best coffee in the town, I recommend either the cappuccino or Americano with warm pouring cream. They offer wholesome health foods that include delicious meals with fresh salads. The menu is well thought out and fresh pastries and home baked cakes are on offer. They also offer free WiFi and very friendly service. I really enjoy going there over and over again.

Very friendly service. This sidewalk coffee hub is in the middle of Knysnas Main CBD. Actually, everything is a bit against this cosy friendly establishment. Although parking is literary on its doorstep you will realise it is only by chance you will find a parking for your car. The bathroom is at the upper level and you might have difficulty enjoying the relax atmosphere if you are in a wheel chair. You can, however, sit outside at the tables on the sidewalk, but it might be a little noisy with traffic passing only a few meters away. It is an ideal place to sit and observe passers by and enjoy the town. The food is dilicious, and it will truly be worth your while to pay them a visit and enjoy what their menu has to offer
