Great old English pub vibe. Ice cold beer and delicious Buffalo wings. Our waiter Walter was great and on point. Will gladly return for lunch some time soon.

Friendly barkeep; doesnt waste time getting the next round. Draught beer is pricey before 2pm; then its Happy Hour half-price.

Always friendly staff with a great Brunch menu, which is reasonably priced. A nice touch that the manager always comes to ask how things are. I like the choice of outdoor seating, covered veranda seating or indoor seating for all weather occurrences. The Brunch was served as requested with the service staff making sure all choices of hard eggs, soft bacon and a mix of brown or white bread toast was accommodated. Good work all round.

Nice but not for my liking

Had to edit this review as I sadly had the worst experience here today. Arrived for breakfast and waited 20 minutes for coffee as the machine was apparently not working. Ordered breakfast for four and waited 40 minutes. Only to be met with warm bread that was supposed to pass as toast but tasted and felt like it was left on a hot slab in the sun while we waited. Food was very shoddy and tasteless.Particularly sad as we had tourists in town and wished to impress them. Can guarantee you they were not.It also seemed that the entire joint hadnt been cleaned from the festivities of the night before. Tables were sticky, place felt grubby and worn down and staff didnt seem bothered at all about their inability to provide a good service.Bitterly disappointed.

This is an Irish pub that serves a large selection of drinks and food. The food is good (bar food such as burgers, pies,bl baskets and unique Irish dishes) and well priced. There is a bar, restaurant and plenty of outside seating. Some weekend evenings there is also live entertainment. Service is average but the vibe is great.

Food was good. Inside going to the toilets and kitchen area in bad need of paint. Walls are very dirty.

The staff are friendly enough and they have nice drinks specials, however, my chicken schinzel was so under cooked that it wanted to cross the road.My partners eisbein was overcooked and dry.The chef was nice enough to replace my chicken, but only after the waitress fetched it from across the road.

This Brazen Head in Edenvale is a LOT better than the one in Fourways.The staff were friendly and helpful as opposed to Fourways where even when the place is dead quiet you struggle to get a waiters attention.The food was fresh, though the steak I ordered was slightly tough.Aside from that it was a pleasant time and will keep going back.PS: On Sundays they have a nice buffet option at R125 per person. Different meats, salads and vegetables to choose from with ice-cream and fruit salad for dessert.

Ive always has excellent service and the food is good

Not as good as the good ol days. There passion just isnt there anymore. The portions are smaller and double the price like the beef and guiness for example. They have halved its original size and slapped 30 Bux onto it. Eish!

Good location, except for the terrible service and horrid food.We had to run after the waiters, and even when we found them the drinks we ordered took ages - at one stage over 20 minutes to be brought to the table.The seafood platter contained overcooked fish sticks and squid heads , I would recommend you stay away from the ribs which were 90% bone, and 10% what resembled very old biltong or cardboard with a dribble of BBQ sauce.The chicken livers were ok.When one of our guests raised the bad service the waiter laughed like it was a joke.

Disgusting service for the second time. In two weeks and spend big cash there ask Mike the one and only decent waiter there. Got given empty polystyrene tubs to place our own take a ways in. Really great service if you can call it that. Then the woman waiter has the audacity to tell her manager ???? That she was told to do it and the manager took her side. Nice one when we there at least once a weeken and as in this weekend twice. About R2000 in two days. Whos the customer?

Comfortable good quality local hang out. Try the fish fingers - best Ive ever had, engage with some of the local patrons and enjoy the slightly cheeky efficient service

Tato skins are still great but man the place is looking worse for ware. The toilets could do with a major cleaning let alone an upgrade. Not a nice place to take a lady friend for that reason.

Decor does provide the Thailand roadside cafe feeling, and is quite basic, the service can improve (staff is friendly, but ignorant of the basics, such as ensuring utensils are on the table), but the taste of the food was great!Not the Blue Elephant in Amsterdam or the Bien Bien in Paris, but nice, lots of flavour. They didnt have Tiger beer, but the Singha brought back good memories
