Pigalle Sandton offers a range of shellfish, fish and meat. Theyre renowned for their shellfish and their signature butternut starter which is complimentary on the house. Their shellfish comes highly recommended as one of the best in the city. Any adventure out to Pigalle should wrap up with a slice of Ice Cream Nut Cake!

Made a reservation as I walked to the restaurant. They were accommodating, we got a table and the good time began. They offer bubbles by the glass if you feel you cant finish the bottle. The food was delicious 😋 from the bread served with the most delicious butternut soup. I had the ladies platter of prawns and my date had the baby lobster 🦞 😋 devine👌🏾my date had the ice cream nut cake served with chocolate source. It was throughly enjoyed. The service was impeccable 👌🏾

I always come for dinner or lunch whenever Im in town, very friendly staff, normally always greeted by the manager. The food is excellent, in particular the langoustine. I recommend you try them if you go.

Great restaurant in the Michaelangelo towers. Food was very good and the service was also good. The seafood bouillabaisse was pretty good and the prime rib was nice, but the chocolate fondant was a highlight for me. I didnt really like the venison.

Took my Girlfriend on a date here. Its always been a pleasure dressing up and coming here for a fancy evening, the food is always excellent, as well as their signature Butternut soup. I am always happy to eat here and spend an evening out. totally worth it.

The service is excellent as is the food. We were a large group yet they catered well for us and not once did we feel not attended to. The starters are great: we tried most of them - the ostrich, prawns, duck spring rolls..the fried halloumi was a bit too chewy. Everything else was great. The lamb shank falls off the bone ans Is tasty, the peri peri prawns were delicious as was the venison. The desserts made the house come down: the chocolate brownie with ice cream, the malva pudding and the cheesecake were all to die for.

Dont order meat from this resturant. I ordered a 600g prime ribe/sirloin on the bone. First attempt came well done ,sent it back with a level of understanding as these things happen. I ordered medium and the second attempt came back rare. These 2 options for steak on the menu, highly priced which I dont mind paying for good food . Avoid this place ,its had its time and ready to close.

The food was not value for money, the lobster was over done and the fries were under done. I was disappointed considering the previous reviews. The setting was great and the presentation was awesome, however, the food was a let down with the exception of the desert.

Prawns were cold. Sauce was cold. Wifes salmon was cold. They told us due to power outages the food heater was broken but management did nothing about it. Place look old and tired and its definately not owner managed. Expensive mistake.

Food was excellent, The music that was playing was depressing,service from Waitron was pathetic, he was uninterested in serving us,menu wasnt explained.Got our mains sauces arrived midway through meal,We werent even offered a palet cleanser.The website offers 5 star dining experience but this was far from a 5 star experience.service doesnt do the food and price justice.

This is a horrible place. Just a wanabe fine dining restaurant! Rather go to ocean basket - the food tastes the same and is at least half the price.I noted the following:Decor is average - possibly the best thing in the restaurant. It has an old fine-dining style which is adequate but could be better. Not sure if there was outdoor dining with views of the city as I was seated indoors.There is absolutely no ambience - music was only played when I was already ordering dessert - and the music was from Youtube! They couldnt even be bothered to pay for the ad-free version.There is no specified dress code. When we went there our table and 2 others were the only ones dressed formal - the 5 other tables I saw were all wearing jeans. This reduces the fine-dining feel of the restaurant.The fruit juice is sir juice - would expect fine dining to have freshly squeezed or at least not a commercial brand you can get from a spaza shop.The xl langoustine was the same size as the prawns - would hate to know what the large langoustines look like!Small variety of drinks if you do not want wine - going by the mediocre food, I doubt the wine is spectacular. If you are looking for the full fine dining experience where your chair is opened for you, the decor looks expensive and the food matched the price tag - look elsewhere!

I came here for one reason only: Malva pudding.During my first visit to Pigalle, I had a seafood platter. It was absolutely phenomenal.The guys asked me if I wanted to try the Malva pudding because this was one of the best places to get it. I was NOT disappointed.The presentation was as perfect as the Malva pudding itself.Of course you come here for the entrée, but Im telling you, get the Malva pudding. Its life-changingly great!

We always feel well taken care of and love the classic charm and good food. I am not a fan of butternut soup however theirs is unlike any other. The steak is made to perfection. The seafood bouillabaisse mouthwatering delicious.

Annabel and Nigel are exceptional hosts. Both go above and beyond, they are a testament to the fantastic hospitality Pigalle has to offer. We have visited 3 times and will be visiting again before leaving - best Prawns in Sandton and service is outstanding - other local restaurants should be taking notes as there is no comparison
