Friendly staff. I went there on my birthday and had burger,fries and onion rings. Those onion rings were the best that Ive had so far😋Their food is freshly prepared

Decent service, toilet smell was a turn off

It was ok but not great... stuff was very Friendly and welcoming... the menu however is very limited and needs a bit of a fresh vibe...sorry to say but clearly not the greatest i had in while ...Aint going to be easy to keep up with the competition these days...my calamari was extremely salty... the pork belly ribs where awesome

Had the buffet beef good pork good shredded chicken dish tasteless the rest so so.the pudding good but the custard had been burnt so it was bitter. Wont be going again

We had a meal a meal for Fathers day 2021.Service was average, buffet was actually very nice.However do not order a starter garlic roll, the size was 4 small slices of a roll.The most disappointing was dessert, out of the entire dessert menu there was only one dessert in stock and available to order from the menu, the restaurant in generally looking bleek.It would be a real shame if it closed because it actually is a good restaurant most of the time.

Good food and a band playing on Friday evenings for some music entertainment. They serve buffet lunch on Sunday afternoons. Spacious area with different sections for sitting as well as outside courtyard.

Food was great. But the staff could really have helped the new waiter much more they just left her to drown. Our order took soo long no pouch for the bill. Cause when she asked another waiter he said find one. We had to use the speedpoint ourselves. She didnt know how. The poor girl just kept on apologizing. We felt so bad for her we gave her a good tip. As it wasnt her fault her colleagues failed her. You should support your new staff better not everyonr is aa patient as us and the last thing ahe needed was a rude client.

Terrible Service, when we got at the restaurant white people whom never made bookings were seated before us. Even worse, our food took an hour. Again white peoples tables who came after us were served first. Absolutely discussing. At this day and age we still been made to feel inferior.

The food was mostly western. The food was also delicious and familiar which is desirable for people who are hesitant to try new cuisines. The staff was mostly friendly except for a few people.They have indoor and outdoor seating, the ambience is good and most importantly it is in a safe locality, which is another desirable factor considering the increase in violence in S. Africa recently.The reason for the low rating thought I because a small snail-like insect was found crawling on plate of food we ordered. Either they did not wash the lettuce properly or it crawled on from outside and we chose the outdoor seats. Regardless, this sort of incident should be avoided for obvious reasons.

The restaurant has been around for quite sometime. Its a very large restaurant and does get quite busy on weekends. We tried their breakfast special for the first time. There was hardly any one inside probably 3 tables at most. The food took really long to arrive and arrived cold. My Cappucino with cream at least arrived hot.Also just to note with breakfast it would be nice to get butter knives with our toast its hard trying to get it out butter with a steak knife, and no stock of jams? Only honey?Service levels needs to be upped a bit.

If you are looking for a popular but not crowded place serving well grilled eaties, you are at the right place. At the corner so make sure you dont miss it, the entrance a bit tricky. Very clean and helpful staff

So disappointed.... we were really looking forward to a nostalgic meal at Mikes kitchen. A trip down memory lane to celebrate their birthday we could both remember going there when we were 8 years old ! And while yes we understand the steak was on special when your chips are bigger than your steak something went wrong. Sorry Mikes kitchen I guess our childhood memories were bigger than your steaks.

WoW, I am impressed. The last time I was @ Mikes Kitchen, I enjoyed. The quality of food wonderful. The ambiance good. Waiter was efficient, friendly, really looking after us. Pricing affordable. I can definitely find no fault. My Grandson has his birthday today. Was treated to an icecream, on the house. Thank you Kindly. My family enjoyed everything.

Service good and friendly. Only had some fries and what they call crumbed mushrooms. Not a dish I will order ther again... more like battered mushrooms which were watery on the inside with no resemblance to any mushroom at all, dissapointing as I love this fish but hey... Spur makes it super tasty and crumby!

Not worth one star. Bad service. Waited more than one hour for our food and then did not even get the food that we ordered. Received cuppino for free for waiting even that was cold.

Really incredible place to take kids. The child minder was extremely attentive but still allowed my nephew to enjoy the extensive array of child friendly activities available. The lucky packet was another nice touch. For anyone without kids, the breakfast buffet is one of the best I have ever seen and very reasonably priced for the massive spread they offer. Our waiter was also top class and left us with nothing to complain about.All things said, Mikes Kitchen is a treat to visit and beautiful trip down memory lane

Not a great atmosphere. We had 5 different waiters constantly checking on us. This gave us the feeling that they wanted us out as soos as possible so they can seat other clients. We were barely finished with our dinner (literally as I placed my knife and fork on my plate) when our table was cleared. Everything was rushed.

Service good. Food very tasty. That is about all that is going for this place. Portions small. No bread baskets. No salads. No mention of specials on offer. Very pricey for what we got in the end. Wont be going back in a rush. There are other places in the immediate vicinity where I can do and get better.
