It has a beautiful ambiance, the food is good and presented beautifully as well. The service is good, the waiters and manager were attentive. The place is always looking beautiful, which makes for great pictures both inside and outside. The music is lively,both the Djs played great sets. Yesterday in particular enjoyed my virgin strawberry daiquiri and later had a beautiful pot of caramel tea both 10/10.

The food was lovely and the managers were friendly as well as the wait staff. The ambiance of the environment was welcoming. Complies to Covid-19 regulations, it is also wheelchair and kid friendly( they have high chairs for kids).Definitely going back in the future.

Its in a very beautiful location, has a great vibe to it because of the people who dress up and go there. But from Thurs - Sun its always full especially weekends. I think its because people travel from far to reach this place -@Life Grand Cafe please open up more of your restaurants in other place we cant have the whole of Gauteng traveling to one place.

Life Grand Cafe Mall of the South is a place to be. The atmosphere and the music is superb you will not want to leave. The service is paradise standard. The food and beverages Ohhh! My Word! The portions The taste The arrangement on the plate is five stars quality.I really enjoyed myself with my family.Now I understand why is it always full to its capacity. The environment was so nice and chilled the music sounded so heavenly the food so delicious, well my pasta bolognese was super delicious but the let down was the chicken ,it was just so blend and dry and lacked taste. If it werent for the chicken Id give Life Grand Cafe 5stars

Arrived at the 19:05 we were greeted and informed that the kitchen and bar will close at 20:00. This was great as we are aware of covid hours. When we sat we were then informed by our waiter who did not greet nor introduce himself that the kitchen and bar is closing.We told him we had just received the menus and we were told that last calls was at 20:00.His response was he will confirm with his colleagues, I literally asked him what will that change or why would we lie about something so foolish. Nevertheless he still went to confirm .The was no menu explanation no recommendations made. We ordered a bottle of wine, no attempt at upselling was made ( Training ). We placed our food order and yet again no attempt at upselling was made. After placing the order we enquired if we could change the order and we were told the order was already being prepared.The food came out, both pasta dishes were served without traditional accompaniments i.e. Chopped chili or parmesan. Non of the dishes were announced just merely dropped in-front of us and waiter walks away. From the start to the end of the meal no one checked on us if we needed anything instead Both managers were occupied with the computer. The Ragu sauce was too acidic and just bland if a simple dish like this is difficult to execute then Im truly confusedSome of the staff were working with masks pulled down waiters dancing, this ship was clearly on auto pilot. Loud amapiano and kwaito, on a weekday evening surely this cant be the best music to be playing at dinner. I left extremely disappointed spur offers better service to be honest.

It looks beautiful but i did not enjoy the ambiance. The crowd was a bit rowdy. Its unlike any other Life Grand Cafe i have ever been to. The food. My friends ordered the steaks and the rumps which they enjoyed . I ordered the grilled hake and substituted the the chips for the salad. The hake was dry. And the seasoning wasn’t so good.

What a beautiful evening spent with the love of my life. The staff was friendly as always, and the service was impeccable. We even had a song dedicated to us by 1 of the managers, made everything extra special.The FOOD? Man, my heart & compliment to the Chef.

We went there for a friends birthday celebration. The atmosphere was amazing. Ill give it 5 stars for the vibe. If it were possible, Id rate lower for the food. Maybe Id give it 2 stars. Overall experience was exceptional. Big ups to the live performers. Impeccable job to them

The ambiance was great. Our waiter also very good. My fish was so over cooked and dry. Could not even finish it. The sushi was also a big let down as the rice was not well cooked, parts were not cooked.

The best thing about the place is the food, music and hospitality.They have a great menu and affordable some areas, expensive on other dishes but definitely worth the spend if you have a taste for good food and drinks👌.The crowd does get extremely loud outside and our waiter went missing on us a few times. I havent eaten there but have driven my daughter there sooo many times since late 2020. They also had their Matric dinner there two weekends back and one weekend back she suggested to her friend who was turning 21 to have her dinner there. She basically adores Life Grand Cafe Mall of the South.

Firstly my waiter didnt introduce himself and the fact that he keeps dissapearing im uneasy. The food was owk except i asked for parmesan cheese instead what i got tasted like white gouda

I was disappointed at the service at this place. They had gas heaters all round the restaurant and they were not switched on upon request we were told they had no gas. At 21:24pm seemingly they had gas and they were put on. Terrible service

Great entertainment with the interactive live band. Went with the whole family and everybody enjoyed it. Atmosphere was lively and food was cook and prepared to perfection. Staff was friendly provided a warm reception. I would recommend this place and their steaks.

Very expensive when we got our bill there was a charge not adding up. I later realised it was the water they gave us. I suggest they advise that you will be charged for the water they offer when u sit down.

This is a pretty awesome place, however im so disappointed lately with their service, we got the most horrible service yesterday firstly they served us wrong drinks and the onion rings were literally raw inside and the pillows had stains all over,for the pricey food I believe we should be treat well. Its pretty sad to say that with my experience yesterday I might not go there again or refer anyone. For me hygiene is priority and I was disappointed to be presented such.

The best meal ever, your music is mind blowing

I always thought this place would be very expensive, but to my surprise it is not. Friendly staff, wonderful atmosphere with their cool music playing in the background. You can never go wrong if you took someone on a date hear. Very serene and inexpensive. It comes highly recommended, try it youll also love it.

Have had quite a few lunches here mainly during the week. On these instances the restaurant is not busy and the service is always good, and the staff have been very attentive. They are keen to make the extra effort, and I have always been pleased with the service levels. The food is always well presented. They are happy to accomodate special meal requests too. At this point however, they need to consider freshning up the menu, and bringing in some new options.

Enjoyed the vibe , good food and drinks

The waiters were extremely clumsy. We had two guys serving our table alternatively and the both managed to spill the rooibos tea on my bag. They were having loud conversations near our table which I found to be rude and disruptive. The food was cold and it looked old and dry. It was just a terrible experience.

Chilled setting, beautiful vibe. Whether solo or with friends, you are guaranteed a jol. The menu is not so typical, its a western meets Mediterranean kind of menu. I for one love to enjoy a cup of tea or cappuccino at this joint.

They serve the best sea food, their place is lively and fun to go to with family/friends. Very clean, and their waiters are very friendly.

Lovely venue for a turn down after a busy week. We arrived around brunch time on a Sunday, the staff were a tadbit slow with service, sadly. If yourre relaxed and enjoy a bit of live music, enjoy well prepared tasty meals while listening to the amazing live music performers, then youll enjoy it. Be patient.

The ambiance is nice and I enjoyed the music. The service was slow, that was a bit of a downer. The food was so bad, taste, presentation and it was just dry. For the prices of the food my expectation was not met at all. We were a group of 8, and only the one who ordered sushi enjoyed their meal. I would only suggest the place for a drinks session.

I have been a fan of the Waterfall establishment for so long and decided to try Mall of the south 1. i was terribly disappointed with both drinks and food . the service was really slow as well. but the live performance was really good.wont be returning anytime soon to MOS.

You guys open at 9? 10 past 9 I go there, and get turned away cause they not ready to serve?Honest opinion, maybe consider having your staff there earlier to set up. Very disappointed as it wouldve been my first time going here

Had great time here the music was just lovely... The food loved it although it was bit dry I love my meals still hot they should improve on delivery time from kitchen to the table but overall it was lovely reception.

First time at Life Grand Café had an awesome time last night ,good vibes and food thanks to Zandy our waiter who made us feel at home until some group of ladies started attacking her verbally in the midst of management that werent attentive to such a bad scenery. Overall we had a lovely experience ☺

The only thing I honestly enjoyed was the music, couldn’t even eat my order took it takeaway, food presentation was bad for the price they charge🙄🙄 waitress wasn’t friendly. It was just a nightmare. Wish I could post a pic of the so called “burger“ couldn’t even eat it 😩😩

Meals and drinks are way too expensive. Food is tasteless and drinks cost double the price you would normally pay. Food is under par. Rather go to a restaurant you love, youll save a ton and enjoy your meal better!

Screening and sanitizing done only at one entrance which is inside the mall but not done at the outside entrance. Waiters see that but dont advice their clients to go sanitize. Overall life grand has a good social distance setups, all employees are wearing masks
