If I could rate them 0 stars I would, the houses and place by itself are beautifulMy issue are the security guards at the gates, they are the most arrogant and rude security Ive ever seen. Very disappointed.

The beautiful birds we attract are all thanks to our stunning lakes that are welcome to parties and picnics. With such gorgeous homes for you to make your own its not a surprise as to why Aspen has such a great reputation.

Safe secure n very beautiful .

Terrific Estate. Stayed there for a few days and its a terrific place to live in. Its extremely safe for your kids to play out and about in the streets and neighbours are really friendly

Very nice estate. Inside the estate are 3 dams/lakes with an abundance of birdlife. Awesome place to walk the dogs and ample space to play with your children.

I have friends who live here and I always look forward to the drive into Aspen. The houses and views are amazing. It doesnt feel like Johannesburg when you first enter:

Visiting friends here, it seems like a lovely gated community although the security is scary. I am not used to Kalashnikov armed guards with serious physical security discipline at a subdivision (estate in local parlance). Maybe that is more about current issues with South Africa(ns), today.There were meerkats outside the guest room window. Nice walks, views. No one seems to talk to each other much, not very neighborhoody.Carshares cant get in, so you need to walk a good distance to get out if you are visiting without a car, and then security wont let you out if your hosts didnt tell them when you might be leaving to clear it in advance. First time Id ever been restricted from leaving a gated community...

Staying here for the last two years I can happily say this place is safe and beautiful...Nice club house with beautiful parks...Relaxin atmosphere to relax with family and friends.

Security is a nightmareEdit: 2 years later and the security system is still a convoluted mess and the security guards are not very helpful or understanding. For example you get an access slip for workers and a slip for drivers, however the slips are not labeled to tell you which is which and they are not interchangeable.
