See Sandton, Rosebank, Killarney and Houghton along Munro Drive Viewpoint 👌👌

Nice spot to watch the city as the sun dips behind you. You can see all the way to Sandton. Northcliff hill is about 15km to your north west when looking from the point.Would be great if the city cleaned out the bins as it overflows. Wouldnt stay until dark due to being in an unsecured area and easy target for crime. Definitely a spot I will revisit though.

It can be dangerous if you are alone. Doesnt look safe to be there alone.You can be easily mugged.

This is the best view of Johannesburg from the eastern side. U can see as far as the Westcliff Sandton and Rosebank on a clear day. Beautiful breeze . There isnt enough parking space on the busiest days though.

Got robbed there by gun point with my girlfriend and my friend, he was wearing a reflective green jumpsuit, he took my friends phone and 200 rand from my wallet please beware

Peaceful way to start your day looking over this spectacular view of our green city. Runners enjoy going up this hill and there is enough parking space for about 3 cars. Upper Houghton feels like you are on top of Johannesburg it’s so steep but so much fun.

Not much to see but there is that thing ,that always make you wanna go back..nice spot for photos though

With the naked eye,one can see as far as north cliff hill and the cocacola dome. Not only that but if you look northeast youll see the Thembisa Ivory2 water tanks. In your view also is all of Rosebank and Sandton and Midrand. A bonus point is that if you take a picture overlooking yeoville it looks like youre somewhere in the middle of the jungle.

Mu husband and I got robbed at gunpoint on Sunday at 12.00 PM. We were clicking pictures and we saw a guy with a mask and Fern green pants with reflective jogging towards us . When he approached us, he turned the safety off and pointed the gun at us, then started asking for our phones. He ran back downwards to the inclined slope and disappeared.

Lovely viewpoint of the northern suburbs. Be wary of stopping for longer periods of time, very close to a known crime hotspot in Yeoville.

You get to see the whole of Johannesburg from a high level, with most of the suburbs, especially Houghton where theres the house of our former president Nelson Madiba Mandela.

Hi all, my girlfriend and I got robbed at gun point this afternoon visiting the view point.Very nice view, but I will strongly advise not to visit the location as it seems very calm and safe when in actual fact it is not.Stay safe out there!!

It got a nice view

Me and my husband got robbed by gunpoint a month ago its really not safe.The suspect is apparently well known for threatening people with a gun and targets people taking pictures when viewing the place . We did report this to the police but they said there was not much they could do its lockdown.Due to covid 19 we were told to call the cops and give them our address so that when they came to us we can open a case and report our stolen goods.Was a horrible experience .

Very nice viewpoints with a great view of the noble districts of Johannesburg. Here you can see the contrast between the army negro and the internships extremely.

Very nice point of view on Johannesburg. Be careful not to go there alone.Better go with a guide that explains the different neighborhoods visible.We see the very wooded and rich part of Johannesburg which is not visible since the top of Africa.
