I dont have good experiences there... Most of the time Im charged a different amount to what is displayed. I wish they would get display prices right. The staff is not particularly friendly and their attitude isnt very nice and it seems like they really doing me a big favour by giving me a refund when I complain. At most PNP stores, the staffs attitude to customers is really terrible (Norwood especially) They should take some lessons from Checkers Stores... Their workers are friendly, helpful and amazing.

Really poor Hygiene.They do not follow the Covid Guide lines in terms of social distancing anymore. At first they were very strict and followed the social distancing rules and people were instructed to follow suit from the lines placed on the floor. However now people are always so close to each other in the line awaiting payment for products. Really dangerous, wont be going back for safety reasons.A lot of products are not found at this specific Pick n Pay either.

Pick n pay genesisis the perfect grocery store to visit if youre looking to do the family shopping. Its not too big nor too small but has everything you need from a grocery store from a bakery to butchery to a decent variety of fresh produce on offer. Professional and friendly staff too

Never has much stuff

The liquor store is probably the most ill managed store I have ever seen, their cigarettes are seldomly in stock, staff arent attentive to any customers needs and are often on the phone.

Tucked away in the huge Genesis building, this Pick n Pay has some outstanding features if you are kosher. The store has a kosher deli and bakery and stocks most kosher products one could need. The extended trading hours really support working folk who only get to the shops late or want to get going early. The big draw back is because its so popular, Friday mornings are impossible, long queues, however staff do their level best.

Poor selection and not very good stock. Also service is almost always slow. But it is in a very convenient location and it is good for the odd item you forgot to get during your regular grocery shopping, I just dont recommend doing regular grocery shopping here.

Store run very poorly. 50 people in cue with trolleys full and 3 tills open. Approached manager and management not prepared to solve problem and just shrugs his shoulders. No care attitude. 2 express tellers who are not busy and he is not prepared to move one to a main till. Just too much trouble. More bad service from pick and pay. Going to shop at Spar rather in future. Owner run and more care And better for customers and pretty similar pricing.

This location is convenient. It is in need of an upgrade, and the bakery employees arent very friendly.The service at the check out tills is poor as well.Overall, customer service training needs to be looked into. The employees are seldom a pleasure to deal with.

Awesome bread! The best pick n pay bread I have had to date. They also have a smart shopper kiosk just before the paying till. This is very convenient.

Terrible service by incompetent rude people

Pick n Pay Fairmount has a good selection and options considering the size of the store. Pick n Pay Fairmount has a good Kosher section with options for all meat, milk and parev foods. The food sections are also constantly updated and you can visit the store for food options at all hours of the day. The store also has great extended hours for late end of day visits.

Friendly efficient staff. Open to 8 most nights. Safe well lit parking with a guard. Quite a lot of ready made to eat kosher food and kosher bakery.

Not as well stocked as the other Pick n Pays but still pleasant to shop their.

Never went to pick and pay only went to the Super to buy candles and to the bagel zone to buy bagels.

Didnt have a good shopping experience there

Fair for basic goods. Dont expect to be able to do a full shop here. The offerings are generally poor. Checkout badly organised. Worst times to go are early evening (after work).

Pic n pay is the greatest coz its so convenient and the service there is just splendid

I had to stand and wait at the bakery for two staff members to finish talking. I then had a teller taking her time to put the groceries through the till. And no manager available to complain to.This has now happened 4 times where the staff are so unfriendly and unhelpful.This was the last

Very pleasant in the main. People in general friendly here - including the staff. Offer large selection of kosher food. There is also quite a big pre-prepared food and deli section here.

Dismal bakery.Utterly disappointed and shocked to see the lack lustre ill stocked goods even when its in operation.Hardly what one really needs on the shelf.Unfriendly staff at till points apart from one very helpful and friendly elderly lady.Not worth visiting for major/daily shopping.Good enough sometimes to pop in for small items quickly or in an emergency ie bread and milk etc.Perfectly useless Pick & Pay.

Terribly aggressive manager Francois, who motioned to take my phone away when I wanted to share with Twitter that there was absolutely no pricing on shelves. No explanation about VAT changes and the information signs were obscured by doors. Will never go back to this store again. No courtesy or customer centricity.

Could improve the smell when you walk in, not enough take alwayse for lunch time

Small kosher PnP so dont have a lot of goods (no bacon) and meat is very expensive. Some of the staff look miserable and the cashiers work very slowly and are not always the friendliest. No one in charge has ever greeted me when i go to shop there. It is the closest to me but i only go when Im desperate.

This is farly good PnP store, hardly packed but tends to be most afternoons. My only concern with it is that they sometimes dont have certain items but i suppose its a preference thing, i.e that such items are not in demand. It is a small store after all.
