Thanks to the staff from Department of Labour Boksburg,from the guys that control the lines outside to the guys that check if you have necessary documents and lastly but not least the claim consultants and helpdesk personnel’s. Professional , efficient and competent team.The whole whole process took me +- 3 hours and payment reflected on time.

They dont even deserve a star for even waking up in the morning to come to work. People wait for hour just for some fat coloured guy to come tell you that they wont be able to help you . They are very lazy and only new applicants and enquiries about money not being paid are being turn back because they are too lazy to assist the public.

Terrible service. Not prepared to assist. Brakpan office closed. Says on Dept notice to use Boksburg or Springs. Boksburg will not even allow us in the door. Do not deserve any star.

I applied for UIF in July 2020 today is 25 January 2021, no payment has been made. I tried calling but no one answer the phone. I have a 1mnth old baby and I have to go and queue to follow up, their service is really poor.

Before anything else, go on to the website to see what you need to bring with you, print out, and complete. Follow the smallest of instructions carefully. If you do that, it will go a lot quicker.- Try to be there at 07h30; else you WILL WAIT for a long time.- Be sure to have your ORIGINAL ID Book / ID Card / DRIVERS LICENSE; they will not accept copies.- If you have made the slightest error on the form or corrected a mistake, you will be asked to go to the back of the line.- You might even be asked to return another day if you do not have the proof of bank details or if something is not certified.- Except for the first time to take 2 to 3 hours approximately.- The second time to take an hour or so.Good luck

I ended up handing my documents on the 1st June 2020 at the gate because of covid 19 and I gone twice since 8th July and 13 August as yet I have received no replies not even an sms to say that they have received let alone processed my application.

Pathetic service, you arrive early on the morning to stand in a queue and no one helps you so you leave . Go back at 15 30 in the afternoon as set operating hours are until 1600 to be told that the offices are closed already as they only help 150 people per say Pathetic. Nowhere does it state such.

People were meant to go & sign for their UIF benefits on 30 March.2020 but due to lockdown the Boksburg Labour branch was closed. So far no news as to what we are suppose to do as the website stated we will becontactedvia sms but nothing sofar.be bwill be contacted

Im not impressed, i came in this morning(Friday) 8th May 2020 to submit my UIF documents, they told me to come in Monday. I dont know what difference it makes as to submitting documents and for them to just take my documents and capture them.The rude security guard said he was instructed from the head office not to collect any applications on Fridays.

They never answer their phones when you go there you are told to sign by the security outside the building and put the paper in a box and wait for 7 days for the money and you will never get it pathetic

The service at department of labour Boksburg is very poor.I went to sign for my money on the 05/11/2019 and did 10days passed without payment i had to go to their offices again only to find out that the was nothing on a system.now again I went on the 29th of November today it the 6th of December I havent received the payment, i phoned them they said I must come to their offices.where are we supposed to get the money from to do ups n downs.

They are really not helpful, they open 8:00 to 13:00 then close for the day but there are no notices anywhere to say they close early. You ask for forms they act like they don’t understand, the security is even rude. They sent old people away because they don’t understand why they should be there, if you don’t speak their language that’s worse because they won’t help you. Very disappointing.

The most efficient government depatment I have ever visited in Mzantsi.From the security/reception area to the queue marshal & counter administrators-theyre all swift &professional. Stellar Service!

Not so good this last month, UIF at Department of Labour, WAs told to come in on Monday 30th September, which I did as instructed. today is the 13th October and I still have not received my UIF payment . Have been told to come back and fill in another form - what happened to the one I submitted on the 30th September? Poor show - just because I claimed last month doesnt mean I wont claim this month.I am entitled to the payment as I am out of work - it is my right as a worker in this country. Very disappointed in this Department of Labour. Thank you Sibusiso for agreeing to help me when I go in AGAIN on Monday.

Wow Im so impressed with the service, given by staff, we always hear negative thought of government places, but to my suprise, it was an excellent opportunity to exprience such wonderful service, I gt to meet a lovely lady her name is ELLA who explains what is needed in a humble tone not only to me but to every 1 she saw, then I think he is the manager he keeps coming an ensuring every 1 is in the right line an place to get helped quicker, what was nyc wen he saw 1 counter empty he moved people around to be helped quicker, so his staff didnt idol around an in no tym every1 was helped, cleanliness of the place was no1, normally the place smell stuffy, but here it was bright fresh an great staff that complimented it, security was alittle slack, in guiding people as to where they to go but they overall a great bunch... Well done to the excellent team that works there.RASHNI SEWNARAIN

No service. I was here this morning and then they went of line. Came back and only one person to service about 30 people. Moved 2 seats in a hour
