Im sorry to hear the reviews of others below, but I have to say my experience with Dr Moodley has been the polar opposite. The Doc always spends as much time as I need to go through all my concerns and to discuss everything I need to discuss from an oncology and even a personal level. For this reason, I dont mind waiting for my appointment- in oncology around the world, patients do wait...often jokes are made about the wait (its an oncology thing) - but I know this means that he is spending the time that is needed with another patient who might have been given bad news or needs to discuss their concerns with him.Every doctor Ive spoken to has nothing but respect for Dr Moodley and they describe him as a brilliant mind.Unfortunately, the treatment of cancer can certainly have terrible side effects - chemotherapy by its very nature is cytotoxic. Dr Moodley has been amazing in doing the necessary tests to ensure that the chemo Ive been on (and Ive had 2 years of it) is not adversely affecting my health to a point that it is dangerous.I am writing this review because I believe that there needs to be a balanced opinion here.

Please AVOID Shun D Moodley at ALL costs, it may save your life. He has no compassion and is only in this line of work for the money. Constantly wants to do consultations but when you are there he does not even look at the patient, chats for 5min and makes you leave. He only prescribes medication without thinking.He administers the most HARSH Chemo treatment without doing his research. My mothers heart went into failure because of his incompetence and greed, if we had not found another doctor my mother would be dead today because of Dr Moodley. We found that ALL his treatments were not needed and only caused more damage.

Found his service rushed and unprofessional... Did not even examine me... R1400 for a 10 minute consultation Said my medical would pay from my routine benefits... It came from my savings... Money hungry and seems just churn people out to pay for his expensive taste in cars. Wont be back...
