Finally got my OL permit for Uber/Bolt, process is now different since the advent of E-Hailing. Applied in November 2019 just got permit now in September 2021. When l did it for Meter Taxi in 2012 it took 3 - 4 months... Interesting experience though.

What an efficient service, i couldnt believe i was in the right place it was so empty and was assisted same time in less than 5 minutes i was sorted and out. I wish all government places can operate like this have more people on counters to ensure no minum or no queues at all 🙂

Friendly staff, but couldnt get assisted. Waited from 6:30 to 09:30, to be send back due to covid 19 positive case Ron oneb employee.

How can this department assist only 10 people by 4 am that number is already there really so i must go there 3 am

I have applied for an Uber permit in november stil havent received it and the office has been closed for a while now with no communication as to when it will open

No one could tell me exactly what documents I needed for an uber permit.

Very slowly,I apply for my meter taxi permit two years back Im still waiting,

I was applying for an operating license for my vehicle.Although it took long for them to answer their phones when I wanted to know what documents I should bring for my application, when they did I received quality answers.My rating is mainly for the offices when I physically got here, the service was speedy and the people were knowledgeable. The office is clean.I would suggest that they highlight the reception part or info desk part because it’s not clear when you enter.I would also highly recommend calling before you come through.The parking is also quite full so be patient and don’t come when you are in a big hurry .You will spend approximately 3 hours here

Tried every means to get info on obtaining a scoping document. Telephone (no answer), Email (returned un-deliverable), MEC contacts (cannot find) website (not responding). How do you guys communicate? The service is very very poor.

When unemployment rate is so high in our country but here at the department of transport they have 13 counters and only 5 of them are utilised by staff 🤷‍♂️

The worst department ever.They always walkin around doing nothin and always offline.this is not on there are not even trading hours showing.

I went there to collect my car permits. They told me to bring the Double Disc of my Cars. I did so. And they told me to go and bring car certificate.l spent whole day up and down. They should have told me once or email me. 😕

Why should we have offline systems daily # No ways it costs money to come to you guys and you are offline ?
