DO NOT INSURE WITH BRYTE INSURANCE!! I was one of many who got stranded abroad during the international border lockdown (covid19 pandemic) in March 2020. Not only did Bryte change their policy wording (without notice) during this period, but they also paid out less than a quarter of the benefit due to me, according to my travel insurance certificate. It also took almost a year to get my payout. I would not recommend Bryte insurance to anyone.

A third party crashed into my car the beginning of 2020, I paid R4000 excess which I am supposed to get back and still have not received. Everytime I ask there are excuses and I would definitely not recommend Bryte as your insurance provider.

Absolutely shocking how this company could take my premiums for over thirteen years and then deny my claim for business interruption! I think is is disgusting that these insurance companies turned their backs on their clients during this time while continuing to take payments through lockdown! Dont trust Bryte!I see some people complimenting the beautiful building, well just remember that you all paid for that building!!!

Easy when it comes to taking your money, but nightmare when it comes to paying claims, Horrible..Never use them, They will not pay you and they wont communicat with you, you will be doing the follow up.

Extremely unprofessional. Delayed response to emails. But theyre quick to sell you travel insurance without properly disclosing their terms and conditions. Canceling a policy is quick too. Getting refunded for your canceled policy is impossible. If I cant trust them to be ethical on home soil, how can I trust them from hundreds of miles away.

Very unprofessional, having the worse experience with Bryte at this very moment! Last year we had Bryte to cover us nothing went wrong, we thought to use Bryte again this year, even took an extended cover till next year Feb and now we are not covered anymore! No one told us about any terms and conditions of the new plan we took out, paid thousands of Rand to cover us while we are out of the country... Not recommending Bryte to anyone ever again...

This is definitely one of the worst insurers in South Africa. They dont follow up on claims, you never get a hold of them and they dont return calls or acknowledge receipt of emails. Im constantly on the phone trying to reach the consultant who is handling my claim and their call center is just ridiculous. I must say I never thought I would have to deal with an insurer worse than Budget.

Great customer service! The roadside assistance is really efficient and keeps you in the loop in terms of the progress made, would highly recommend.

I lodged a 3rd party claim with all the necessary documentation at Multirisk Brokers in early April as a result of a lady who reversed into my stationary vehicle on 21 March 2018. It seems as though Multirisk submitted the documents to Epic underwrites on 12 Apr 2018 and on 13 Apr 2018 they submitted it to Bryte (new claims) with a request for a claim no. I followed up at the offices of Multirisk on 20 Apr and again today, only to be informed that they are still waiting for a claim no from Bryte and they have no idea when they will receive the claim no from Bryte!!!! I need to get my car fixed and would really appreciate if Bryte could be proactive and provide the claim no by Monday 30 Apr 2018. I am very disappointed in the attitude of Bryte and Multirisk Brokers because it seems as though mediocrity is acceptable to both of these organisations. Please prove me wrong by Monday.
