Maybe its because I went during off peak hours but the service was surprisingly quick. I had a problem with my phone and an agent promptly directed me to a consultant who immediately assisted me with my query. She quickly did some troubleshooting and resolved the issue.

Terrible service. Sales people dont know what is going on and promise a return phone call which never happens. Manager is exceptionally rude as well. Would highly recommend never going in to the store if you can avoid it. Having said that, dont expect any help from online or the call centre as they are equally as useless

The consultants were in a group when I entered(behind the counter, no one at the door for temperature or sanitation ) , I honestly expect a positive response when I greeted them but it was dead silent. I minded my business and said what I came for, there was a bit of pause from all three of them and eventually one advised they couldnt help because I had a driving license and ID. I took the same problem to Cresta mall and I was greeted at the door , sanitized and scanned for covid, name written down and assisted with my driving license

I arrived at 18:35 only to be told the technician left at 18:00 when the store closes at 7pm. Its been an excruciating experience dealing with Telkom and I can only hope the temporary solution provided by the Rosebank team will work.I really dont know how Telkom is still in business cause their service is atrocious.

Lack knowledge, experience, training. A really tough experience, not for the faint hearted. Like anything Telkom, yet another poorly run government business, service is not part of the vocabulary. I suggest your learn lots of eish wena, as thats about the only thing you will get. Dont go there for a service.

Very poor service. Took out a new cell phone contract at Rosebank. The entire process took roughly 2 hours yet I had all the required documentation available. My number has not ported as yet and I was told it would take 48 hours. It is now 3 weeks later and my number has not ported.

The on-site technician was good.Could not believe that I had to go Telkom shop to get assistance over their own network issues.This was the referral point after the first Telkom shop at the Firs cared nothing to assist but rather asks you to go to the other shop inside the Mall.

I always give a 5 star rating to any service even though a small up and downs in the process but this time I received a very bad service where my business account is not having phone for the last 8 days because of this telkom shop. If they could have said that it will take 2 weeks I couldn’t have migrated from landline to lte. Still the floor manager doesn’t taking ownership and not providing feedback and I got very simple feedback if it’s sitting with network then we can’t do anything. I believe you all are belong to one company and proving service to the customer but please don’t sell if you are not sure if this will activated soon. The issue is still not resolved and it’s make me to post this now.

Had to update this review: Upgraded my iPhone 7 to iPhone XR as well as my router to uncapped. The lady that helped us told us that the insurance on the new phone will cancel the old phone automatically. Two months later I was a victim of a mugging and lost the phone. When I call telkom insurance they claim that the store did not update their system to show that I upgraded the phone. They then changed their story claiming I said I did not want insurance on the phone, when I asked for paper work, they can’t find it! Now I’ll be paying for a phone including insurance for a phone I no longer have.

You can not provide your contacts details to clients while you are unable to pick up the calls. This was my very bad experience for the first time I used Telkom Rosebank. I went there to upgrade my phone, completed the form just at the end I have to be told that you can not receive your phone today because the guys at the backroom were knock off (after 5pm) which I did understand and their promised to call me back the following day, this never happened, you call their number, no one answers, I have to drive all the way to go and meet them.

Hello there,Yes I had to wait my turn, but then there are many people needing assistance and the consultants can only work as fast as the queries they get. I had excellent service from Raymond (and others) who have been extremely helpful whenever I have gone there. Raymond sorts out my queries quickly, he upgraded my services, renewed my contract, sorted my modem and now is fixing a query I have with my email account. Thank you very much Raymond and thank you Telkom.

Telkom refuses to take ownership of the mess that is Finrite. They debit your account with ease and do provide a service. I am paying for a phone I dont have and Finrite cannot fix phone. Its almost the second the month and I dont have a phone. Besides that the shop has great service. Do not accept insurance from Telkom. You will regret it. Check Hello Peter. As soon as my contract is done . Im leaving Telkom. An organisation that can recommend a service but takes no accountability for its bad service and inefficiencies is a stress you dont need in life. I have an essay to say... Trust- check Hello Peter. Goodbye Telkom.

Visited the Rosebank Telkom store on multiple occasions and can confirm how bad the service is. Its pathetic. Service is non-existent. No managment on site. Long waiting ques and not being attended to. Que management system is appalling provides inaccurate estimation of waiting time. System said 9 minutes waiting tine but took approximately 50 minutes to be attended to. Lackluster personnel who dont make eye contact and know the meaning of SERVICE. Store deserves ZERO Stars.

The trashiest (if the is such a word) service ever. I bought a phone there end of October and the day I bought it I did a sim swap. I tried to check my balance when it was done but it was unsuccessful, the teller told me that it would take a couple of minutes and she checked it for me on their system. When I got home i tried connecting to the internet and it still didnt work, tried to check the balance and again it didnt work. I called the call centre and they told me that my number was suspended and it would take about 72 hours for my number to be active again. I had to go the store 4 days later because it was still not working. They manage to get my number working after waiting for hours but i couldnt get my data back. Only got it on the 5th day after someone from their call centre directed my line to another branch in Pretoria. a couple of weeks later my new phone is malfunctioning and they are telling me that they have to take it to repairs and that takes 21 working days meaning Ill probably get it early next year, in the meantime I should get a phone from my family members because they dont have loan phones. why would I buy a phone if there was something I can use. Wish I had read these reviews before going there. They need to learn a thing or two about customer service. They dont deserve any stars

I placed an order for an uncapped WiFi modem. I was assured it would be delivered and installed within 2-3 weeks. I checked up and tracked my order every week for three weeks and was again promised my order is on its way and be delivered on time. In the beginning of the fourth I phoned again and was told that no order was placed to begin with. Trash service I cancelled with Telkom right there and then. Can’t be associated with Beta Males. Rather use MWEB

Employees can’t help, they’re like a very bad decoration at the office - when you’ve problems with internet employees can’t do nothing and you’re speaking to them (employees here are definitely stupid, I’ve no an idea how they got a job) like to the wall. I have placed numerous calls to this store through out the week with not one answer. Dont even try calling because you wont get a response.atleast I now know how it feels to be tortured for hours on end everyday. Its highly unprofessional to NEVER answer the phone. If I ever need something from the Rosebank branch I have to walk in but this should not be the case. Ive just spent another hour trying to get hold of them even called Telkom care told them asked them to transfer me and still no response. By the other ratings and comments I see I am most definitely not the only one that feels this way. Its time they make an effort to change.

The irony here is that a company selling telephones, land lines and general communication packages, do not answer calls or communicate over the phone. Its ridiculous. Just to speak to a consultant takes about +- 1:30 hours in-store in the queue. I booked my phone in for repairs about 5 weeks ago, yet no communication to the status of this since then. Do I have to keep going to the store, waiting in line for half the day, just to find out whats going on??

Frankly one star is a lot for telkom. I really feel like giving them negative 5. Worse company I ever dealt with. Why does everything has to be stressful with telkom? Now the Rosebank branch has redirected their calls to some call center in Pretoria. There is no email Address on the internet for the Rosebank store . The call center agent in Pretoria, who acts on behalf of telkom Rosebank, sends an email to the Rosebank store to request a copy of my contract, and a week later still no response. Im not even counting the weeks I spent with telkom requesting alternative ways to do this. All I want is a copy of my contract to terminate my relationship with telkom. I dont want your services anymore. Ive done 2 and a half years of stress with you. Im done. Please release me!!!

I have taken out a data contract on Saturday 31 October 2015 which was meant to be activated on the 1st November 2015. To date the sim card has not been activated and no one answers the phone at the store. I am in Pretoria so cannot come to the store to enquire what the problem is. The Telkom call centre cannot help as they say the card has not been registered yet. I want to say…….For the past few days I have been received bad service from the Telkom Store at Rosebank mall….. Firstly I applied for a contract for two cell phones and it was pending for almost one week. Eventually when I received a response, I was only approved for one cell phone and they cannot tell me why….. Don’t get me wrong, but I just want a reason why ?Yesterday I went in Store to collect my phone ….. only to find they cannot activate the sim card because of some system issue and some order that needs to be cancelled first. They gave me the phone, and said I would get a call first thing in the morning from one of the consultants, to port from Vodacom to Telkom and sim card activation. Till this hour I’m still waiting for a call !!!!!!!! I have a cell phone I bought and cannot use !!! very unprofessional, now I have to drive back during peak hours to get my handset device and number activated.DONT BOTHER CALLING THEY DONT ANSWER CALLS, I WONDER WHAT DOES THE FLOOR MANAGER DO, THEIR SERVICES SUCKS.
