Hey Guysteam you are great when you in shop - but sadly do not follow up. I am a red vip and have done quiet a few deals with this store. I have an upgrade waiting on my red vip , and put name down in December for new Iphone xs graphite 512----- i keep having to call in to ask and still no stock . Please can we get some feedback.

The shop is small and feels a little run down and dirty but the service is warm and friendly. As a regular to the Spar next door I despise the frequency with which certain Chatz staff are found outside leaning against the wall and smoking.

I phoned this store with a query about a SIM card I purchased there weeks before departing an international flight. Upon purchase I asked multiple times whether the SIM could be used overseas and it was confirmed that it could, but no mention was made of extra steps I had to take to activate roaming.Surprise, surprise I arrive at my international destination with my contract SIM and all the phone shows is No Service.A Google search revealed that I had to activate roaming myself before departure by dialing from my number. It’s impossibke to do while abroad.Phoning this retailer left me with a thorough distaste for Vodacom’s supposed customer service;The ‘gentleman’ told me I was ‘supposed to’ call Vodacom to activate the roaming, and then mid conversation placed the phone on the counter and wandered off without warning while he tended to others in the store, leaving me waiting on an international call from my cell, as though this were normal behavior!It is outrageous that Vodacom’s and SA’s service has reached this low, non-chalant standard. Quick to take my money, and just as quick to shift the blame to the customer.
