Too busy. Not bad service per se, but wasnt able to bring my car here as theyre very busy over weekends and seemingly in general.I suggest taking to Global Vehicle Testing in Constantia. The price is about the same. We got helped immediately on the weekend. Service was great and friendly too. No need to struggle to secure an available time.

Very helpful but they only assist 24 cars on a daily basis and no bookings. FIRST COME FIRST SERVE

Only opens at 08:00 even though online it says 07:00. Works on a first come first serve basis. I arrived first and yet they still served others before me. The actual test was quick and the staff were great but something that should have taken an hour or less took 3 hours.

Very bad customer service. Reception was extremely rude and unhelpful.They are very disorganised.

Not a terrible experience had good professional service. However I made an appointment for 10:00, got here 10 mins early and still had to wait over an hour for someone to roadworthy my vehicle. Overall good service jsut be prepared to wait about an hour after your scheduled appointment

The best place to do a roadworthy. Third time I have roadworthied a vehicle through them. No queues or long waits. Your helped straight away and all stuff are very helpful.

Poor and slow service. Waited 2 hours to roadworthy a scooter. Then waited another hour for certificate to be printed. The place was not at all busy? While waiting for the certificate the rude receptionist proceeded to have a smoke break. She was unhelpful and dismissive with an attitude. Will never ever recommend Dekra to anyone and will never go back!

Disappointing it was slow and not very helpful front office staff. It’s a pity as this place used to have good service. I would consider using another branch as this one is not up to the usual DEKRA standard

Situated at the Western end of Westgate Shopping Centre in Johannesburg and just next to the Metrobus Bus stop, next to the Westgate Taxi rank and covered parking and adjacent the fuel station on the Gate 5 side Dekra Automotive can be easily located. From the few number of cars seen at the end of each day, one can assume that they are efficient in their services.

Very rude front desk employees, speaks condescendingly to customers, even the most intelligent customer will feel like a retarded person while visiting This testing station. Extremely lethargic service, waited 1hour 45mins before my car was attended too... Not much interaction with testing officials but just spectating them shows that the lethargic service proves to resonate through the whole business.... I will definitely not recommend this testing station to anyone!

Wow, when I read about the rude welcomes and smoking (literally) receptionists, I thought people were exaggerating. Man, was I wrong...I had to fill in forms - which they did not give any instruction to. They needed a copy of my license. They could not make the copy while I was filling in the form. I had to retrievr my cars license disk (so they can scan it) and put it back - which I feel they can include in their service. They could not tell me which sections of the form to fill in without me having to ask them thrice. I told them my cars one door does not lock with the remote, it has to be done manually - when I picked my car up (theyre in such a dodgy location!) - the entire car was unlocked.This is a terrible place and they probably have this attitude as they dont have enough competition in the area.

The best testing station for your car. They are strict, but make sure your car is completely roadworthy.

Unfriendly... basically like dealing with a government department. At no stage did I feel that I am an actual paying customer. Better places to do the test nearby.
