We were there to buy a used car for a friend that is almost finalized. The sales staff is hardly equipped with the experience to deal with customer requirements. This was the second time we were there to clarify queries that were supposed to have been done proactively by the department. The deals are pricy when compared to other dealers and moreover they dont treat you the way a customer is supposed to be. You as a customer have to make sure to do all the research and get to them with queries. If Hyundai sales are that good, they rather stick to it than having to sell other brand used cars. If you opt to buy an used car from them, rather have your home work done well. I am still giving a good eating for there is an opportunity to improve...

I bought a second hand vehicle for my daughter at Hyundai Weltevreden and must say I received the best service ever from Rudie Koekemoer and other support staff. They were willing to negotiate about the price and I am very happy to say that they were part of my daughters dream come true! I will recommend Hyundai Weltevreden any time of the day!! My wife ask me to assist her staff member with a purchase of a car she had seen online at this dealership. The salesperson was arrogant, unprofessional and provided misleading information pertaining to finance. Please do you homework about financing options with the bank directly before seeking advise at this dealership.

The service team were a bit sad. No energy, no smile. It was like Im at the wrong place the way they stared at me. But atleast I managed to bring a smile out of the lady who was assisting me. It can only get better 🌻

My Hyundai i20s paint is peeling on the boot, which I have been told is a factory error on that specific model. I contacted Hyundai Weltevreden Park, where I bought the car, and was told to book it in for a paint specialist to examine. The paint specialists report was going to be sent to Head Office for appoval. My car was checked by the paint specialist on 31 March 2021 and to date (4 May 2021) I have had no feedback on the matter. I tried calling Hyundai Weltevreden Park this morning to follow up and the phone just rings without answer during business hours????

Received a call from one of the salesman following a Facebook lead l submitted. This lead lures you in with a low premium and after submitting the form then only do you see the actual detail of the offer; that should be presented upfront before l had to submit the offer.The salesman calls me and after relaying the same information, we agreed that he send me his contact details so l can confirm a time l can see him which he advised will be done so immediately. Needless to say, l am still waiting.It is good to know that this person works like this and has set the expectation of the service l can very well get from this dealership.One can only assume l was not the right type of potential customer he was expecting!

I took my car in for its 60 0000km service. The oil of my car was leaking after I took it in for its service and my left brake light wasnt working ☹ Dissapointed service delivery. I got my car back worse than I took it in. I used their services once. They lost a customer.I will not make use of them again! I dont trust that they did a good job. The closest is not always the better choice!

Terrible. Didnt have parts so my car had to stay overnight. Collecting the car they advised battery went flat but a 15km drive would sort it as there is nothing wrong with it. Drove the 15km and got stranded at the shops. They were unable to adjust handbrake and do wheel alignment as requested of which I was only informed when I collected my car.

Terrible service. Only fooled the first as if they provide good service. Bought a car from them but I have no joy of it. Been experiencing same issue over and over again. I do not have trust in the car anymore, so Ive asked them to take it back but they refuse. They are detecting on me. Im an unhappy customer and I deserve better as I work hard for what I achieve.

Wheel alignment and balancing is also done on request which is a huge plus for me. Staff are friendly and helpful. Bought my pre-owned vehicle at this branch and they delivered on their promise. The vehicle was looked very new inside, the upholstery was up to new car standard and the vehicle ride was very smooth. I basically bought the car without physically looking at it because I only went to the branch to pick it up. I was going to give them a 5 star if it wasnt for the fact that the salesman said that they will make a plan to deliver my car to my place and he changed his mind on last minute basis just after the transaction had gone through. Great service all-round.

The salesman was very engaging, courteous and helpful. Many vehicles to choose from.Getting in to the dealership is easy but to drive out you need to get your fingerprint taken at reception so the exit gate will open when scanning your finger. I got inconvenient if you did not need to go into the showroom.

I had to return to Hyundai weltevreden park to collect my replaced part should have been left in car. My car was booked in for Repair, on invoice estee booked in as, a service and the fault reported for mechanic made no sense. Good mechanic . Their driver was friendly and smiley, Booking dept dont make 1 feel welcome , rather unfriendly .

The person who sold my car to me booked it in for a service. He should have known it was too soon since they calculate the due date from date of registration not purchase. I wasted a whole day without my car. The cherry on top is the shocking service when collecting. Only one person to help and he was in no hurry. The guy before me waited 40 minutes to get his car back and I waited 30 minutes.

I am never buying a Hyundai again in my life. I purchased a brand new car (not a demo or second-hand) in December 2019 to only have the battery be completely buggered by the 10th of March 2020. I woke up at 6AM with my alarm sounding and it would not switch off no matter what! The service guys from this branch came out quite promptly (this is the only reason for 2 stars and not 1) and told me my battery is completely drained and thats why this is happening. They initially said it is because of wear and tear but when I informed them that it was 3 months old they were in shock! They told me to call the branch ASAP so we can fix the problem. When I called I was told that they can only help me on Thursday (problem started on Tuesday) and that I have to make a booking. I really need my car, but agreed because what the hell else can I do?! I was also wondering how the hell I would get my car there since it cant switch on because of the battery. If you jump-start it, the battery only last for about 10 minutes and I live 15 minutes away! Come early Thursday morning and my battery was obviously dead - so I phone and inform them that I cannot bring my car since the alarm is still blaring and it wont start. The service team doesnt answer so a receptionist takes the message. I wait until their official opening hours and nobody calls. - by 10AM - still nothing. So I phone back - no answer. I get fed up and ask my boyfriend to call as I feel they are not taking me as a woman seriously. When he phones - they answer, but no Im told they will not fix it and I have to claim through insurance - the F#!K. I WILL NOT. Its under warranty and obviously a factory flaw. I then call my car salesman and inform him of whats transpiring. The poor bloke drives all the way through, jumpstarts the car and escorts my father to this branch (as I had to be at the University to Lecture at this time). They take in my car and then - nothing! I have not had one word of feedback all day!!! I tried to phone with no answer again! Now they have my car and I dont know what the hell is going on! I HAVE NO TRANSPORT AND NO PATIENCE ANYMORE! This is costing me a s!#t ton of money per month and just giving me hassles. Im not impressed and wont recommend this brand (and especially this branch) to anyone!!!

I would strongly advise not purchasing a car from this dealership. My girlfriend was sold a car from a salesmen and he didnt disclose that it had previously been in a serious car accident. As a result, weve had never ending issues with the car and we keep taking the car in to get fixed, however, it keeps coming back with new issues. The salesman who was dealing with the issue also failed to respond to calls or texts and when we tried to take the issue up with a superior we did not get a response.

I was treated so well by the used vehicle department and appreciated the deal we made although I think I lost out.

After taking my car to another place for an emergency alternator and battery change, and getting my car back in a state, I was forced to drive it at 30km/h max speed with the Turbo not working and Engine Check lights on, to Hyundai Weltevreden Park for them to assess the damage.Ashley was amazing with updates, and the service team had a look at my car, to at least let me know what was going on even though they were fully booked.A few days later and with lots that had to be undone and redone to fix what the Cresta-based car service centre messed up, I got it back and its been driving great ever since.Eddie Da Cruz in the service dept that assisted me and spoke to me over the phone to explain what went wrong was also great!Id recommend this Hyundai Dealership to anyone and everyone.

I cant comment on the car sales team, but have had terrible experiences from the service team. Ashley is a gem and really great at keeping you informed, but from the quote (double from what I eventually paid) to the fact that my car ended up at a technicians house for no apparent reason, and everything in between was just really unprofessional and poor.

Absolutely garbage service. I took my vehicle which is still under warranty for repairs on a mechanical fault. Its been over a month and they still cannot tell me whats wrong with my vehicle. And no one seems to have a clue on what should happen if they cannot fix the vehicle. There is always a different excuse everyday. And you can never get hold of the so called dealer principal, Tienie Potgeiter. YOU GUYS ARE INCOMPETENT!!!!!!!!!

I bought a Nissan 16 seater from Rudi....From the very 1st interaction I was super impressed and now even more so. There was a slight issue with the registration paper being misplaced and as you can imagine there can only be nightmares envisaged when this happens. Not so with Hyundai Weltevreden Park.... Shaun the Dealer Principal and Rudi really handled it amazingly. I was kept up to date at all times and there was a genuine care to make the customer happy.
