In the corner of a nursery, so very nice corner. Green and cosy.Not many tables and it might be busy but when not busy very nice place to relax.Very nice playground for kids. Nice sand under the toys.Just out of playground stairs are a little tricky for kids.Coffee was nice.

We had a demanding table of 15 people and the service was attentive without being intrusive. Fantastic fresh platters with loads of variety. Highly recommended. We had a wonderful afternoon !

Very busy Thursday just before lunchtime. Friendly and competent service. Good atmosphere and my pasta carbonara was well prepared and delicious. Mom had a chicken Mayonaise toastie and loved it.

A great place for a cup of coffee and a meal, and a well stocked nursery. Good place to get some work done ☺️

So this is a little gem hidden away in Joburg. Munch is a delightful eatery nestled in amongst the trees and shrubs and plants of the nursery. It is on Jan Smuts Avenue but you would never know it for the calm and quiet ambience.They have a neat little corner with deep comfy couches to sit on while drinking a good coffee and taking in the foliage.Is also very kid friendly with a jolly outdoor play area. Kids and parents alike will find this place to be a treat.And by far the very best carrot cake I have ever had! I kid you not. The best!

I LOVE Munch! The food is always good and they make great cappuccinos! The setting in a nursery works well and you can almost forget that you are on Rosebanks busiest intersection. Lots of guarded parking.

The food was good and the service was fast and efficient.

Below average meal. I ordered the bunless burger with a side of sweet potatoe crisps. The burger was ok and consisted of two lettuce leaves two patties and a chesse sauce that tasted of nothing. The sweet potatoe chips are actually sweet potatoe crisps and we soft and not crisp at all. Disappointing meal. As my plate was cleared I was asked if I enjoyed it. I politely said no and received no further enquiry or request for further feedback. I am not writing off Munch as I have had better meals there but wont be reordering this.
