Good service, piping hot coffee, which is rare, and their menu has more variety to choose from than most restaurants. Perfect spot if you enjoy people-watching in 180 degrees. Less crowded than the restaurant downstairs and the affluent yet down-to-earth clientele make this a great venue for spouse hunting. Get it gurl.

Pleasantly surprised today at JB Rivers from the staff that made my son his special request of “circle eggs” even though it was past breakfast hour to the delicious meal served with a super friendly smile! Definitely worth a visit, huge variety of meals sure to cater for all - even the sushi looked delicious will try that next time thank you!

Service is poor. No management keeping tabs on clients. Waited far to long to order coffee then waiter didnt return until coffees were made. Again ran off without asking about our meal selection... Food was good damn shame no training taking place with staff.

Nice setting with a varied menu. However, I ordered a coffee along with food. The food came and the coffee never came. The food was good and tasty. When the bill arrived the coffee was on the bill but was never delivered. The manager then gave me a complimentary coffee as I was leaving. Good customer service.

I love their breakfast menu. Ive dined there quite a bit over the years and the service is generally really good. Their crumpets are a must-have. Super delicious. The black cajun chicken salad is really tasty although, I do feel it would be much more tastier if they would go easy on the salt levels in the dish. Most of their salads are really tasty and filling, worth it. A really delicious huge bacon and cheese burger with wedges is also on their menu - really juicy and yummy. I would feel comfortable recommending this restaurant to friends.

Bought a packet of chocolate brownies , they hurt my teeth from biting into them . Then realized it expired over 2 weeks ago. Don’t buy pastries from them , they not fresh and overpriced.

Wide menue variety. However refrain from ordering the kingklip fish, was stale, rubbery and burned.

The sushi was amazing. The restaurant is in a really quiet part of the mall. The waiter was really nice and he did not rush us.

Our waiter Frankie was the best ever! Super friendly and an awesome sense of humour. My friends steak was cooked to perfection (she was hoping to take a doggie bag but it was so delicious she cleaned her plate!). I had the breakfast (love places that do all day breakfasts) and it was superb. We returned after the movies and had the bar-one cheesecake - heavenly! Awesome experience!

I love this spot. It is quite up-market (being Hyde Park) but has delicious food and generous portions. I am a huge fan of their salads. I have never been disappointed. They are enormous and varied and flavorful. Its one of the few places its not even hard to make a healthy choice.They also always have plenty of banting options if thats your vibe.

Stunning food and service

Great location, calm area of the mall which allow you to relax while eating. Food is delicious and many choices to choose from. Staff was friendly and helpful even after a full day of sservic. The only issue is that the wine list is limited.

JB Rivers has been a consistently good restaurant in Hyde Park centre for many years. Their burgers are particularly good and I have not yet found a place with better ones. Their milkshakes are also fantastic and they have a wide menu with options that cater for most tastes.

Great food with delicious and large portions. Would definantly recommend tasting their sushi, to die for!!

A nice spot to chill and have a good chow

Nice setting but very noisy due to the fact that its located in the passageway of the mall. Food was average. I had the crumbed chucked sandwich but it was very basic and tasted a bit stale. Most of my family had toasted sandwiches which were pretty average too. The service however was very good. Especially given we were a party of 14.

Whatever is on the menu it is so hard to make up your mind what to choose. Every dish Is so delicious. The staff is superb, polite and a sence of humour that makes the evening all that more special. Will be back soon soon. Happy Holidays to all, and thanks to all the staff in the back and front. We really appreciate you listening to all our requests. Than you.
