Very nice restaurant, good portions, clean and the service is quick & friendly.Coffee is great except for the one cup that was not so great so I’ll have to come here a few more times to check consistency in their coffee.It’s a great place to do your work, have a meeting or just to unwind. The establishment is fully licensed so it’s a good place to sit and read a book while having a beer.The toilets are also clean and fresh smelling.Would I come back here again? No doubt.

Really great little gem that i have driven past for thinks and finally stopped. Greta coffee and excellent omelette and out of the maddening crowd so a quiet little retreat.

The ambience of the building itself is nice but I didnt enjoy the food. It was overpriced and did not have a taste to match. I would definitely come here on a coffee date or whatever meeting if its just to go out somewhere with someone. I think the food could be better priced or more reasonably sized and flavorful. The drinks are good so a coffee run/date is fine. They generally have good specials on their cappuccino running in the mornings

This place is awesome, great service and the decor is unique. Feel like you are part of a photo studio, lots of things to look at. Ordered an omlette, was good, presentation as simle as a omlette could be, but still good. The coffee was average. Would reccommend when you are in the area. Or definitely a unique place to go and visit.

Very nice place, clean and the staff is friendly. Their salads are really delicious and the food presentation is gorgeous. Highly recommend.

Really good Pizzas well worth a visit

What a fantastic find. At 8AM on a Sunday morning, out on a suburban bike ride we cant across this great coffee shop and although we didnt sit and stay, the takeaway coffee was delicious. Definitely going to be a fixture on future rides.

Nobody greeted us at the entrance, we had to wait until until someone noticed us. The waiter didnt introduce himself and had a morose attitude. The waiter gave us our water and then neglected us to serve other people. We were not attended to for such a long time that we ended up leaving. Mind you, it was not a busy day (there were only two other tables that were occupied).

Love it, just stop for coffee but food smelled stunning. Have to go back at try the food. I went bank and had a sandwich ...... Ooooooh my it was great. Going bake to try more.

Intimate, charming, secure and relaxed dining experience. Outdoor seating area due to Covid-19. Waiters very friendly and welcoming. Best pizza with delicious toppings. Really enjoyed myself and often pop in there for a coffee after shopping at the Rand Steam center nearby.

Unique little cafe just on the edge of Melville (right by the new Randsteam center). We love having a coffee or breakfast here and the food and drinks have always been great with friendly service. Love the little water bowls for furry friends and both indoor and outdoor seating options. Leaves one filling recharged 👍

Was attracted by the exuberance of the atmosphere just passing by. The warm chickpeas salad was absolutely scrumptious, will most certainly recommend. Excellent even if you just want to chill with a latte ☺👌

The Richmond is an intimate cafe with a great interior created from repurposed objects and materials. Its clearly well loved and owner driven. We watched a reggae band called Meesh Mash. What an experience, they were amazing. One way or another, if youre in the area, pop in for a coffee, a meal or a cocktail.

Great little hidden gem, with great coffee and food. Take some time to look at the art/photos. finding a parking spot might be the only problem, but dont let that make you not go. Also can pay with Zapper

The owner is a photographer and has used old cameras and slides in his decor and has some of his photos on the wall. Very interesting place.

The Richmond is the new cool kid on the block and I am in love. The service was amazing and the food was yummie. I love the art photographic elements of the Cafe. If you find yourself at The Richmond, check out their lights and the main door leading to the bathrooms.

Hidden gem in Johannesburg. If you are looking for something different then definitely consider the Richmond for brunch and lunch. Atmosphere is unique with hanging vintage cameras and a bathroom door made up of odd slides. The owners photography is also very interesting from his time as a photojournalist.
