Sheesh, what a busy bakery. Had to stand in a small queue on the stoep to get in. Went to get prawn rissoles, but all sold out, probably better to phone ahead. Their meat pies are really great, in my opinion.

I looove this Bakery. I dont come here often but when the craving for a pie calls, Croyden Bakery is the best place. Not to mention their cakes and desserts.... Custom orders also welcome. The staff are really friendly. There is a bit of a wait to get in due to the shop being so small but it is worth the wait.

I’ve loved this place and have been getting birthday cakes from here since I was born. I love their fresh cream cakes and freshly baked bread. Their pies aren’t meaty though, so I suggest everything they have on offer minus their pies.

Every time Im in the area I cant resist stopping in at Croydon Bakery for their delicious pies. They are absolutely the best ever. No other pies come near. They are always busy but well-organized with enough people to take care of you so you dont have to wait long.

Really lovely goods. Really delicious. However their system of who gets helped is terribly flawed. I stood at the baked goods for the longest time waiting for someone to assist. They helped about 3 other people who entered the shop after me. I was only assisted once I said that I have been standing there for a long time and I was first in line. It really makes for an absolute terrible experience.

This is my local bakery and I must say for the past 3years I have stayed in the area they have never disappointed me. I am not much of a confectionery person so I havent explored much of their offerings. However I can swear by two things, their Chelsea bun and Cheese straws they are too die for and the best in town. Once or twice in a week I wake up early morning and take a stroll there so that I can get the Chelsea buns whilst they are still warm. Its the only time I eat sugar and its definitely worth deviating from my diet..I love Croydon bakery and have recommended it to most of friend who have also expressed their delight with the place and its service delivery.

THE most amazing bakery ever, I simply love it! Try to go early on a Saturday then youre guaranteed to get the spoils you want. (As theyre closed on Sundays) My favorite is the carrot cake, out of this world divine!! The chocolate cheesecake is a close second. Their hamburger rolls are like clouds....they melt in your mouth!

Upon entry of the bakery you are harrased by women selling so called Covid tests or other random fashion items.The feeling inside the bakery is very rushed, dont come here to browse. The sausage rolls are nice, generous size but pricey. The cupcakes are way too big and topped with the most disgusting frosting, the pricing leaves you feeling done in, after tasting the cupcake. Staff are very friendly and professional. Bakery appears clean and tidy. Sale items are well labled with pricing, which is a nice improvement.
