My husband booked our vehicle at car service city in benmore/Sandton, during the day they called for the window which was struggling to close but not completely damaged and still functional, my husband told them to leave the window will sort it out next month, when we later collected the vehicle, my husband realised that they didnt top up the anti cooler like they normally do and when he asked the owner of the franchise told us that we want things to be done for free and we were told to take our car and leave.... Theres always something negative he will say to his clients, we tried to give him chances to rectify his unacceptable behavior but he never changes and takes customers for granted... This is very terrible servise, IF YOU WANT TO SERVICE YOUR VEHICLE GO ELSEWHERE, DONT USE CAR SERVICE CITY IN BENMORE/SANDTON. The owner there undermines clients as if hes doing clients a favour or hes giving our servises for free... You would think as a owner, he will be better when it comes to attitude but his attitude is bad than that of his employees....

Job well done on the repairs of my car, however not such a great job when it came to customer service. No shuttle service available like many car services have the fats, so they had to use my own car to drop me off and pick me up when my car was ready. Also I had to wait for over 90 minutes for my car to be washed and polished after that.

This is the second time Ive gone to CSC Sandton. My 2006 Fiesta is running beautifully after its service and repairs.I really appreciate the attention you get with an owner run business. I feel like they took the time to check everything properly and to explain it to me, rather than the patronising brush offs or lovely but clueless sales consultants Ive encountered at other places.

The service was so great and the team was efficient. I felt that they cared about my car and will definitely be returning. I received better care and service here than I did in years of going to MINI Sandton. Thank you.

It was a wonderful service and the service plans are less than the showroom price. They also have dropoff and pick up service. I was lucky to have engine clean service and pollen filter replaced with free of charge. I always used to service my car with car service city.

Hi, had a disappointing experience. Being a loyal customer of this branch, I was shocked and left confused as to the treatment I received. Usually I dealt with a guy called (Craig I think was his name) this was the first time I had to experience poor customer service by the Owner/manager named JD. Today, they have lost a loyal client and maybe this wont affect them much financially, but I am just left puzzled as to the treatment I have been subjected to.Wouldnt recommend this branch!

Car Service City Sandton is fantastic on many levels. They are friendly, helpful, practical, solution driven and the list goes on and on. I have to say there quality and workmanship is better than your fancy and over priced auto dealerships . So based on this why would you go anywhere else.

I had a very frustrating problem with an oil leak, one that could only be reached with a lot of labour by removing the gearbox. After the first time I took it in the leak persisted. I notified them immediately and the vehicle went back in.The leak STILL persisted after that but Car Service City had my back, they took the vehicle in a third time and eventually tracked down the stubborn leak. They were mindful of my frustration but were committed to fixing the issue and finally tracked down the difficult leak.They never once suggested any additional payments for the hours of additional labour and parts it cost them to track down this very finickly issue, and even offered me a free courtesy vehicle during the time of repair.They were determines to fix the problem out of professional pride and managed a frustrating situation with great professionalism,a ttentiveness and courtesy to me as a client.JD and his crew are awesome and run a tight ship and they got my bakkie purring and running smoothly despite the hiccups of fault finding this very tricky problem.These guys are my go-to for all my services and vehicle needs and I cant recommend them enough

My car is in a worse off position than it was when I brought it in yesterday. I felt like i was being tricked from the beginning about how my car will never make it to the next 5 km but id been driving it. They didnt let me take it home on the first day, asking me if i can tow it and at that time i drive it. They kept changing prices with many excuses.When my car was fetched R100 petrol literally lasted 30 mins. The car was smoking and smelling like petrol. Lost all its power. I was left in a more dangerous position than when i came in. I cant believe i paid my kids hard earned cash for thisThis shop hurts the community and defeats the purpose of helping lower end people who need affordable car maintenance. This is a diservice to the community and must close down.I petition

Expect to visit this branch more than once for a single service. I took it here to do a routine service a while back and received my car in worse condition than it was before. The reason I am writing this review now is that a close friend had their car bumped by one of the staff at this branch. Unacceptable.

Fantastic service! Thought my car was going to cost alot more than it did. Its great when you finally find an honest service center that doesnt try and con you into replacing things that are not broken.

Worst experience ever. they over charge for everything and do not bother to tell you what they have done if there was any other work than servicing as long as they get the money. There owner or consultant called Joe is the worst man i have ever met. Anyone with expensive cars DONT GO TO SERVICE CITY.They charged me for power steering and brake fluid but did not put the fluids. Engine oil was way max than it should be.

We have used this branch a few times and each time my car had more problems than when it first in. I asked for a an autoelectrical check and they charged me almost 1000 but did not actually do anything!! They will break things and make you think you are mad for your car not working!!!

Very good service and detail explaination about what they did. Even provided to change a free bulb after the service. And they fixed a problem that it confused me for 1 year.Thank you. And i hope next time i can take this comment to show them. Hope they can give me more discount.

I am to say the least disgusted by the service I received at Car service city Parkmore. My car went in for service today 30th November 2018, I received a call as per norm from them to inform me about the car and on the call the manager told me that they have fixed a water leak on the car and they also need auto freeze from me and that will cost a total of R247, firstly no one asked me if they can fix the leak, they call me to inform me that its done and i need to pay for labor and at that point it seemed like i had no choice because they had already fixed the leak on my car. I agree to the R247 only to find a different amount on why invoice and i am now told that the R247 is just for labour and the anti freeze is not included on there, thats not what was discussed with me and i request call recordings as proof of my conversation with the man. I ended up paying an extra R400 which was not on my budget. I am extremely upset at the service considering I have been servicing my cars with you guys for years now. I request feedback on this

I took my car in for a strip and quote as my engine was making hideous noises. Car Service City Parkmore quoted me R1500 for a strip and quote.Fast forward a few days and theyve stripped my car and quoted me R47k to get it fixed. This happens to be about the value of the car itself. So, I declined the quotation and said I that I would come and pay the (agreed) R1500 strip and quote fee. At this point the guy working there says, No wait a minute, we put a lot of time into it. It cost us R5 000 to do (to paraphrase). After much disagreement, we managed to tow my car out of there for the originally quoted price.At this point Im sitting with a car with the engine (in pieces). Do I scrap it or do I get a new engine or do I try and get the old one fixed somewhere at another workshop? I decided to purchase an Engine from (Engines and More in Pretoria -these guys are legit) and get the engine delivered to another workshop. The other workshop (one of the workshops with the highest google rating in Johannesburg) put the new Engine in but noticed something funny with my old engine: The crank shaft Car Service City had given back to me did not fit my block (it was too small). Also, the crank shaft they had given me indicated that the engine had seized, but my engine had not seized (I drove it into the workshop). Furthermore, the other parts of the engine that would be damaged if the engine had seized, were fine...In other words, it appears as though Car Service City had fabricated the whole story. The car may not have had any severe issue after all (well, perhaps not severe enough to replace an entire engine). In total, the entire car repair endeavour cost about R34 000.As an added bonus, they had also neglected to give me back the piston for my clutch pump and so I had to buy a new clutch pump (about R 1500). Also, when I removed my car from Car Service City I noticed that my car’s Bluetooth receiver and cellphone holder were missing from my car (because its obviously necessary to remove these accessories when you are dismantling an engine). I approached them about these accessories, and they found them in the back.So summarise: Do not use car Service City Parkmore/Sandton (I can’t speak for other branches). First confirm the reputability of a dealer. These days, Google Reviews and HelloPeter at least give you a decent indication of how trustworthy an establishment is.
