I have received the most disgusting service with these guys. They know very well how to sell stories every time you make an inquiry about your car. They are not honest at all. I had initially been told that my car will only take 12 working days after receiving the parts for the car. Guess what, they took the whole month and days to fix a bumper and a one back light. I am extremely unhappy with the service I have received from these panel beaters. Today was the day on which they were supposed to polish the car and assign an assessor to release my car… that didn’t happen, the whole day of today was apparently spent on polishing the car. It’s so unprofessional of them to even lack communication and clarify dates and time with the customer.

The service received is absolutely disgusting. After my 3rd estimated completion date I was finally able to get my car back (almost a month later). During the repair process I left numerous messages for the service rep to phone back, I am still waiting. After my car spent 2 days in quality control my boot did not close properly as rubbers were placed incorrect, my back seats are unable to be fastened in their brackets because were installed out of place. Billed my insurance for make and model badges that were never replaced. Lodged a complaint with head office, met the manager and service rep (who was on her phone the whole time and not acknowledging the mistakes to prevent future complaints) and I was told they will order the new badges and call me back with a time slot to make the necessary adjustments, and yes I am still waiting on that to happen. Causing another inconvenience for me to take the vehicle back after they had it for a month. Didnt even get an apology or acknowledgment of fault. I think a street sweeper has more customer service skills as this place. Sad that the insurance companies still send their customers to them.

Allow me to make something abundantly clear for anyone that overlooks turnaround times. It really doesnt take two whole business weeks to fit a new rear bumper and paint it. This turnaround time is atrocious. I wish I had opted for my insurance to allow me to carry out the repair on my own . This would have taken me no longer than 2-3 business days including quality control. I have this knowledge because I have supported over 10 professional panel beaters in the past with ongoing business in the motor trade. It wont surprise me if my paintwork comes back full of fish eyes and paint impurities. I will not recommend the Renew it group to any of my clients in the motor industry. Very Lackluster.

These panel beaters are dishonest and do not care about their customers at all.They swapped out my wifes brand new battery for an old one which stopped working just after she drove out of their workshop.Upon calling and requesting assistance they refused to help saying that it was not their problem and that she needed to purchase a new battery from her own pocket.This comes after making her wait almost a month to get her vehicle back with only a minor bumper and exhaust damage.Dont even get me started on the manager who was not even bothered when she told them she was stranded on the side of the road.I do not recommend this place at all!!!

It took these people over 2 weeks to repair my vehicle. All they had to replace was a bumper so I fail to get why they took so long.When I was able to finally collect my vehicle, my battery was malfunctioning. Upon calling and informing the manager that I was stuck on the side of the road, all she said they could do was to tow my vehicle... These people swapped out my new battery for an older one!

I have never received suck APPALLING service ever! No communication , besides a generic sms that is sent to ‘update’ have left messages , phoned continuously , ether in a ‘meeting’ or they will ‘phone back ‘ 14 DAYS LATER NOTHING , not one phone call , spoke to the manager directly after promised a ‘priority’ repair, she promises and nothing still waiting for her to phone back. I am in the service industry and even for a customers iron we phone back and communicate but for a vehicle that is worth a couple of hundred thousand… NOTHING! Not even a phone call back. It looks like they know they will have your business as they are listed on the ‘approved service agent’ panel list . HOWEVER the insurance companies should know how we are being treated by this company . I am now sitting over 14 WORKING days with no bakkie / vehicle making me loose thousands and thousands of rands a day just because it is sitting in the workshop even though it was marked as ‘Priority’ maximum 10 days. The parts were even so called ‘pre ordered’ as it only requires a few parts and to speed up the process. My vehicle was in fully functional condition before it was sent tin as it was just aesthetic damage. I am very disgusted on how I have been treated and all future customers should know and all insurance companies.

I was then introduced to the service consultant Kyra who went through the vehicle damage with meI have since received an update on the vehicles progress and can check online anytime. The day I received my car back, everything looked fine on the surface. A review was coerced out of me the day I saw my car. I had 30 seconds to see my car and then I was pushed into sitting down while they proceeded to create a hello peter account and watched me write a review. I wrote a sterling review, not knowing what had happened. Do not trust any of this companies short term reviews.A couple weeks later I got an email from my insurer Santam with an attached invoice from Renew it. They had invoiced my insurer for a items that were never replaced, namely: a number plate and number plate holder.It must be noted that from this point onwards, they only emailed my insurer and referred to me indirectly. No direct contact was made to me in writing by renew it.Initially there was some pushback from Renew it saying, invoices exist for these items so it must have been replaced. My car is an old car with years of sun damage. It is clear these items were not replaced. I sent photos.On the 23rd of April, I then received an email saying: We have the new number plate on site so we all in order for fitment on Wednesday.No apology. No admission of error.I then get a phonecall (the only time they contacted me directly after this incident) on Wednesday the 28th of April saying that We have now ordered the parts and we will contact you when we have them so you can come and have them fitted. This is contradictory to what was previously said. Still no apology. Still no admission of error.On the 6th of May, my insurer followed up with Renew it to find out what is happening. I then receive a reply from Daryl, saying, As previously stated we have a new number plate and base and the client can come in for fitment will take 10 minutes. Intimating that they were waiting on me to come in and get things finished. I had not been notified that the items had arrived. STILL NO APOLOGY, STILL NO ADMISSION OF ERROR.At this point I lost it. I wrote this email in response and still hold to these words:Hi there, DarrylI was phoned last Wednesday and told that I would be phoned when the number plate and the base arrived. I was not informed that it had arrived.I am actually beyond disgusted at this non-existent and non-caring service. I have changed my mind and no longer want the base or the number plate. Please remove it off the invoice and refund my insurance. I hope Santam reconsiders you as an approved repairer after the shocking attitude your company has had in this matter.Billing for an item that is not provided is an absolute embarrassment and you didnt even have the decency to apologize or acknowledge the mistake to me once. If you are going to treat me like you are doing me a favour by providing something to me that my insurance has already paid for, then you can keep it.Expect everyone I know and everyone who will read my review Im about to write about your company, to know exactly what to expect.It has now been 2 months to the day. I still have not been phoned or even contacted via email directly for an apology and frankly I dont even care anymore. My insurer is still trying to recover the refund from them.As an added bonus to put into perspective what Renew it really cares about. When I arrived with my car after a bumper bashing for an assessment, the owner of the establishment was present and said to the assessor Oh I love this rainy weather, it brings in so much business! While I was standing right next to him.Also dont leave a single thing in your car, even if you believe its small and nobody will take it. Every piece of small change, even my sanitiser, was stolen out the car.

The worst service ever. After keeping my customers car for 7 weeks for a small repair to the right front. He was told he could collect the car at 5pm today. They kept us waiting for forty five minutes, only to find that the repair was not completed. The right front foglamp was not fitted, and right front headlamp not working. Renew - it....really.ABSOLUTE DISGUSTING SERVICE.

The repair took long and when the car was returned the badges were not put back and were just left inside the car for me to put back on, which I only found out when I called. The brake lights were also not connected properly. Poor workmanship do not recommend!

Please read every 1 star review carefully before taking you vehicle to Renew It Bedfordview. It took a whole month to replace a bootlid after i was informed at the start of the whole procees that they will first order the parts and my car will only be booked in once they have received it . it still took a whole month. The fact that you are unable to speak to your personal consultant is true. You are put through to the person in question and the phone only rings off the hook with the call never returning to the switchboard. Do not even bother to leave a message because they do not call you back. If you do use Renew It then very carefully check your car for damages when collecting same because they will not dislcose it to you. I am convinced that my car was a rush job in the last week that my car was there and therefore the damage not only to my car key but also to the smash and grab on the back window. You are treated as an inconvenience when trying to sort out the damage with a flat refusal to provide the details of the product and company that they will used to do the repairs and then you are also told that you have no say in who and what product they use to repair damage they caused

This is a good example that bigger is not better - months now and they cannot fix my vehicle - or keep any promise - I changed from Duncan to Daniella - and still they cannot understand why I am upset because they could not keep to ONE SINGLE DEADLINE. Driver was supposed to deliver vehicle at 07H30 - and forgot his silenced at home now he cannot deliver my vehicle - I am unreasonable because I cannot except a human error.10H26 - still not any communication from Daniella or Renew-it - when will I receive my vehicle. I’m unsatisfied with the repair work carried out, the car has cracking sounds coming out from the front and the dash board. And it doesn’t end there, I’m not satisfied even on the outlook. It seems and feels as through the work was rushed. The quality control was not done.I’m really disappointed with the level of service received.

I have been waiting for my vehicle for over 2 months, their employee Daniella has 0 communication skills, only sent 1 email and one phone call in 2 months, I always had to do the calling and never get through to her, the one time she called she said it is not her job to inform me of the status of my vehicle but that of the insurance company, what a disgrace of a company... If I had a way I would ask my insurance to move my car to another service provider...

2 months to repair.Getting called to collect vehicle and if we do t we will be charged for storage.Get to reception lady asks if she can help me, 10 minutes later she walks up to me and asks if she can help me.Staff walking around complaining about the company.Inspect vehicle and notice 2 very visible poor paint oversprays and poor paint work passed somehow by QC.Try start car, battery flat, replace battery at R1400 as they calim if they were to do it, it would cost twice as much.Engine light still on after we advised them that it was never on until the accident - no response.Looking atvthe reviews we are just a number and it seems there is very little or no customer care goings-on here.Extremely dissapointed to say the least. Our insurers will most certainly hear about this as RENEW IT was most certainly not our choice.

What A Joke this company is! Nothing like the Ad. They get Zero Stars in my book. My car was in for 3 weeks for minor damage. Very poor customer service. Always excuses and your agent never gets back to you when you leave a message. Dont ask to be transferred to management either. The call goes nowhere fast. Unlike their service. Shame on my insurance for insisting I take my car here. In all fairness the repair was well done and I have no complaints of the quality.

The worst customer experience. My vehicle has been with them for a rear bumper replacement. It was scheduled to take 5-10 days has been in for 4 weeks now and they have only started paintwork. Service advisers do not follow up. No one can tel me the cause of the delay or completion date. Management does not respond. I now contacted my insurance company to intervene as I feel I am held hostage to this repairer.

I have received the worst service from Renew It Bedfordview.I constantly have to follow up. The service advisor who is suppose to be there to assist their clients does not get back to you. Email after email and not reply until I cc my insurer in the mail do they get back to me.From day 1 I advised them that I only have 10 days with the rental car so I need my car back no later than today 18/03/2020 as I have to return the rental but 08h00 tomorrow morning. My insurer cannot extend the rental and it seems that Renew-it has no customer care.I have been begging and pleading with them to get my car back.Their Operations Director or manager is never available.I would never recommend anyone going to this panelbeater.

It took over a month for them to fix my vehicle that my car rental had even expired since and they never got back to me that I had to get my insurance involved. I asked them to please keep some of my valuables aside as I was obviously in an accident and could only carry so much when and I will come collect and someone at the dealership stole them as the tow truck company First help clearly noted that they were there. The manager Natashka even admitted I was not the first customer that their items were stolen and she cant tell me who at their panel beaters could have taken it. When I eventually got called to collect my car after many excuses and promises they made me wait over and hour to even be served. Once I finally got my vehicle it was dirty and the windscreen was still cracked and damaged and there were scratch marks and a dent on the door that was not there before. The manager, Natashka is extremely unprofessional and even their drivers do not respect them as they clearly lie to their customers and employees. Terrible, terrible panel beaters. I would definitely no recommend them. I would like to add that while I was waiting there for over an hour with my 7 year old son there were 2 customers that were talking to eachother complaining that they have been waiting for long and they do not even know whos assisting them and one of those customers were going to leave with their fixed car and then came back as there was something wrong with it and landed up leaving their vehicle there again.

Was forced to take my car here by my insurance. These guys are thieves! They quote for things they never fixed and they took nearly 3 months with my car up and down and the insurance dont care when you tell them! I landed up canceling with my insurances company for their nonsense and joined another insurance. Now I tell my insurance that I pay for my insurance policy and I pay for my car so I want to repair where I want to! And it will NEVER be renewit it.

Absolutely shocking. Service consultant lied about the whereabouts of our vehicle that it was “offsite” at a mechanic. Two weeks later after phoning many many times we find out it never went offsite from their management.Two months after my accident we get a call that the car is ready and must come collect before the end of the day. On arrival there were MANY things not repaired, they replaced our LED lights with normal lights, sprayed our white car without covering up the black mags so we now had multicolored mags!No one has been in contact AGAIN a week after seeing the car!!!Renew it Bedfordview is an absolute dismal place with the worst service I’ve ever experienced!!!

Disclaimer: I only went there because my Insurance Company sent me there, Im only commenting on the experience of getting my car assessed. Ive seen all the other negative reviews regarding repairs and cant comment on that.So my immediate advice is, dont panic.The parking lot is chaotic and I had to park a short distance away. They need bigger premises. But that was about the only niggle. I went into reception and the staff was friendly, relaxed and helpful. The directed me to a separate bay for Insurance Company booked appointments. The staff there was also friendly relaxed and helpful. In fact I didnt see one gloomy face on any of their staff members. I was in and out in no time. The assessor was done before I had even finished filling in my form.

Horrendous!! They dont make any contact to keep you up to date of the progress of your vehicle. A R12 000 job took 33 days to complete and they are not prepared to assist you with a courtesy car if Insurance vehicle needs to be returned. I had to get my Insurance company involved to get things going. I will never suggest them to anybody.

Dont bother taking your car here unless you dont mind atrocious service and workmanship! You would think a chain this big would be your best option! Firstly no one contacts you with the progress nor returns your calls when you leave a message! Secondly they completely left a scratch that their job sheet contained! Then after 5 days additional you get back to find they now left it pitted and need an extra day which turns into 4 days! When asking for a discount the FM Christo says they will be making a loss if they give you a discount, cant let them make a loss but my loss on all the rental car payments and additional travel costs is no problem!DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!!

Im very discussed with Renew-it service .. My car was Towed after the accident . After 3 weeks they finally called to pick u the vehicle. Came to the premised and lady by the name Sandra assisted me and was things i was not happy with .She advise me to speak to Daniella about the piece that was missing or come back later .Firstly they didnt check if the car was in proper condition as there is a sign showing ABS and Brake light ,central Unlocking not working....OH by the way that was on 13 December 2019.I call Danielle Saturday 14 Dec 2019 morning that i was coming in, to get my car fix and she told me her workshop team is not available . I should come back on Tuesday after the long weekend and that she will escalate it to her manager . I send an sms to the 41190 short code regarding the query , and asked if they wil compensate me the petrol will be used when coming back on Tuesday as this is my fault. Its their team that didnt do their work properly .The inconvenience for my leaving work and going back to them. Seriously :-) No reply or a call back.Today is Wednesday and Danilella has not even bother to pick the phone and call me to follow up if my car is fixed or not .I am very disappoint about the service and you have shown me that you dont care about the customers and care about the money .I will never recommend that branch to anyone if this is how you treat your customers . I NEED MY CAR FIXED I

Worst worst customer service ever. Been dealing with a lady called Sandra who doesnt bother with feedback. You constantly have to hound her and she promises quicker release dates and never bothers to update. You send her messages, she doesnt reply, you call her on both cell and landline and she doesnt pick up. My car only went in for a side mirror replacement, and before I dropped the car, I called Volvo and they said they have a 2 day delivery period and the miroor was available. My car has been there for 19 days and its still not back.I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy.. And when you call and try to get ahold of a senior person to complain, the receptionist gives you a ru around. Pathetic place. I will surely be informing my insurance about this
