Visited the Glen Veterinary hospital in November 2020 with my pet being quite ill. Dr Johan did the check up, which was quite brief - temperature and mouth check. I comprehensively provided all insight on how our little one has not being eating and had a temperature as my dad is a doctor so we were sure. Yet no diagnosis or comprehensive treatment was given. A week later with no improvement and my pet in a worst condition, I went to another vet as I had no faith in wasting time to return to the Glen Veterinary Hospital.The diagnosis was so poor, incomplete and had not measured or weighed out the possible risks. There was no need to even explore further on what could be a possible cause. This was simply carelessness from the doctor, whom didnt seem to have any insight as a professional on what or why this has occurred, what should be done or what can be given to the my pet. I dont mind the cost, I would pay the same or even double, the problem is no diagnosis or treatment was given when my pet was on the verge of losing her life.I would never go back to this veterinary as this situation placed my pets life in danger. This veterinary is far to commercial, with poor engagement and commitment to the treatment of an animal.We got comprehensive treatment from another vet whom saved my pets life and even had a follow up check up to ensure she is absolutely out of danger.

Only place that I trust with my pets. I dont have children so my pets are my kids and I trust no other place with them as this vet has professional and experienced professionals to assist at any hour of the day. From the assistants to the reception and doctors- friendly and professional

Great people work there. Always ready and able to help. Ive never been there and been told to come back later because the veterinarian is on break or that they only work the mornings and afternoons. I highly recommend to anyone. Thank you the Glen VH for your great service. Hard to come by these days. Thumbs up.

After receiving bad news for my pet, my wife and I decided to seek a second opinion. We went to The Glens Vet and consulted with dr. Johann Rauch. After taking x-rays and observing my pet, he confirmed the original diagnosis was correct.He offered 4 solutions, 2 more than my original vet, we ware able to make a more informed decision.After the operation dr. Johann had great follow up, the staff is very professional and friendly.We have decided to make The Glens Vet our new trusted choice for our pets.

Took my dog for a vaccine update and dental cleaning. The staff were all around friendly and professional, especially the nurse who took care of everything. My furkid was in excellent hands during her visit

Jansen is the best vet EVER

My dog is 15 yrs old and her health has gone abit down. Dr Johan has been brilliant with her and patient and understanding with us for our concerns.

Dr Rauch is the most God send. Our Fur Baby was sick with Parvos, Cat Flu which we all know is a very dier sickness with little hope of survival. After being sent away from Vet no 1 with a finality fast approaching we took our little lady to Dr Rauch. Confirming the worst, we asked him what we could do and he took her in and took such beautiful care of her. Shes a nervous puppy but a good patient as he put it. He kept her calm and allowed me to see her every day. He cared so deeply beyond what most vets do and Little LuLu and her family really felt that to the core. I would highly recommend Dr Rauch. He has a true love and understanding and is forever in our hearts now. To Dr Rauch, please know that we so appreciate you and what you did for Little Lu. May you be blessed infinitely.

I have been a long standing supporter of the Glens Veterinary hospital - I have always been treated with respect and compassion and a correct diagnosis has been provided for the various sick pets I have taken in over the years to be examined - however I was very disappointed today ... I tried to go in to the vet to obtain some chronic medication for my pet . Before I could even enter I was met at the door to say they were already closed ... this just after 12 in the afternoon. The receptionist also advised that they do not dispense tablets on a public holiday... well why not advise your clients of this beforehand and why does the notice on your front door state that you are open until 14h00 on a public holiday.

Took our dog to the vet on Saturday afternoon close to closing time because she was very ill and we knew we had to put her down, the vet Dr Johann examined her but dismissed us in everything we were trying to tell him about the dog as we knew her cancer had come back in the lungs but he didnt listen and gave her a few injections to help her stop throwing up, today she died in our garden after suffering since then, we were the last customers and after getting in our car we watched as they just wanted to leave for the day, I will not be returning to this vet and I dont recommend anybody who loves their dogs to bring them here

Good service spoilt recently by unprofessional reception shouting across the room as how i could be assisted and an abrupt Dr who billed me R1900+ for a 20min consultation and meds. Pity Dr Hough cant serve more hours ...hes a gem

There vets and staff did everything in their power to try and save my dog in the 10 days he was with them. They showed such care towards Basil, allowing me to visit as much as I could, to make sure he knew he was loved to the very end. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them.

Incredible vet! The staff is ALWAYS so super friendly and do everything in the best interests of your pet. They are very understanding and know that sometimes as pet owners we stress over the small stuff but are always willing to help and are so supportive.

I am new to the South and am very specific about where I take my cats to the doc. The receptionist was friendly and helpful however the vet on duty was not personal at all, he did not ask any questions about my cats history; the only questions he asked was is she throwing up and is she eating and drinking and I felt uncomfortable so I cannot imagine how my cat felt. He also instructed his assistant to take my cat and weigh her without telling me what he was doing. When the time came for her to get her injection she screamed in pain. My cat is 6 years old, has had ALL her check ups, inoculations and 2 visits to a specialist and she has never reacted in pain like that before.I will NEVER go back to the veterinary hospital.

I live with my cousins and when there dog Rosie Thurling got ill we took her to you amazing vets like Justice and MJ. MJ is a kind hearted man who loves animals and when you gave Rosie good care and your chicken🤣🤣😂and you helped me with my hedgehog Rafael as he was slowly dying.Justice is true ,full of compassion and is also full of Justice. You guys helped all of our pets and you make me have compassion for animals i made a huge promise to myself that i will be a vet and hopefully i can job shadow at your amazing vetenary.Thank you so much !

Ive been going to this vet for the past 10 years. The receptionists are always welcoming and for a little while they take your mind of your sick pet. The advice provided by the vet is always helpful and you can throw any question at them and they will provide professional advice. If they dont know the answer, they dont guess and send you away with an incorrect diagnosis.

They are so amazing and are such kind hearted people and they really treat your pets with so much love.
