WILLIAMS HUNT the GLEN - BE AFRAID BE VERY AFRAID!!!Avoid, avoid, avoid. You will thank me later. People today complain about the lack of jobs in South Africa, soon this dealership will be part of that number. They cannot spell client service. I phoned to book my vehicle in for a service. I brought it in on the Thursday afternoon. On Friday at 10am they phoned me to ask when I would be bringing my vehicle in? Good start guys. They then told me that they dont do any electrical work on a Friday and that I should have told them there were electrical problems. I didnt know clients were supposed to diagnose service issues. I left the vehicle over the weekend and spent R8k on the service and on having a tappet cover replaced. They said that was why the engine management light was coming on. Before leaving I checked the odometer reading in the service book I noticed that it was filled in incorrectly, 6000 km had been added, back to service advisor to correct it. 7 days later or 153km the engine light was back on again. I took it back to Williams Hunt the Glen and they told me that it was now the Turbo inter-cooler which needed to be replaced. 3 weeks later (22 Dec) I fetch the car, pay another R 6500 and 6 minutes into my journey home the engine management light comes back on! I phoned back and I am informed that I am welcome to bring it back tomorrow. Its clear that the service department do not know what the problem is and just keep changing parts hoping that it will solve the problem. I now have to take it back again tomorrow morning. Once the car is sorted I will NEVER EVER EVER GO NEAR THAT PLACE AGAIN even if I was offered free services for life....they are TERRIBLE....RUN AWAY, RUN FAR AWAY, THEY DESTROY YOUR VEHICLE AND YOU END UP PAYING!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely shocking that a client can arrive with a car thats barely driving and they tell him to wait till June to get it fixed.The client came there a year back with a service light. They instantly said to replace the turbo and the problem persisted 20kms later. This seems to be a trend with them that there is 0 care about customer satisfaction and theyre just playing a game of eeny meany miny mo with which part to replace or the Oprah Winfrey carpart show wherw everyone gets a new part.After reading Craigs review further down, Ive realized that we were lucky they sent us away.

Was at the parts sales dept and only one service terminal was utilized which resulted in a long wait as other customers were rightfully asking questions of what they wanted to buy.Waiting area is too small. Asked for water to drink and I was told to walk around the corner and drink from the tap (wow). For world class facility you have, one would expect to get water coolers for your customers.Service consultant was friendly but the Despatch kiosk needs a little bit of customer service orientation.

What a terrible place the staff have no respect they just swear like raving lunatics. Ive made the decision to never own an Opel or Isuzu ever again after dealing with this place. They wanted to charge me R 30 000 were Ive got the same work done for under R 10 000. Thats a good way to keep your customers loyal GM. WELDONE! They still charged me R1600 just for diagnosis. They also delivered my car to me saying its ready with my dash board still in pieces. What a kick in the teeth. Is this what service has come to these days. I was disgusted. Never again. And I will continue to let everyone I know the experience I had there. PS the driver who dropped me off was a very nice guy though... The only positive thing I have to say.

The service and communication here is trash. There was an electrical fault with the battery in my car, I sent it in on Wednesday it is now Saturday and no word on when I’m getting it back. I have to keep calling and asking about it only for them to keep promising to call me back and not doing so!!UPDATE: Eventually received my car back two weeks later with the fault fully repaired. I’ve had it for about 10 days now and it’s running well. Thank you WH the glen

Requested my car registration papers for a vehicle I purchased in 2016. This request was made on 4 September 2019. They did not have it on their premises but at Metrofile (which is understandable). I constantly had to follow up and the standard response was we waiting for Metrofile. It is the 24th September and still no joy! If they could not locate it, they should tell me so, I could have made other arrangements. The most frustrating experience was the no feedback, I always had to initiate contact. These people are absolute trash, no business ethics what so ever the staff is racist and inefficient. Brought my car in just for regular service, received my car back with a smoking exhaust and a car losing power they booked my car in and later called on that day saying it needs to stay for the night because they are still diagnosing it. how ever they refuse to offer an alternative vehicle I can use to take my children to school. which I have seen them do for other maybe affluent clients. I was told they cant do anything for me I just need to leave my car. even though it was their fault the car came back with issues...... the service I have received is undeniably the worst Ive received let alone the staff with bad attitude in the office like we still in the apartheid error.

Wish I could go into further detail about my problems there. (There were just too many)Will definitely not be recommending this place to anyone with a different skin colour from them. They way they treated black staff members on my visit there was just unreal. I did not think there were still people who operate with that sort of mentality in 2017.Natasha and her manager need to work on their telephone etiquette.
