Service here is very fast and friendly.I ordered the Bro Burger, I was disappointed. The burger had very little cheese, the patty was dry and I asked for crispy bacon but never got it that way.☹

The restaurant is cosy, the meals are well priced, delicious and they serve hearty portions. We really enjoyed our experience and will be going back.

Our waitress was new but the manageress quickly stepped in to assist.Tender pork chops and a double calamari went down well.Menu has not changed for years. Need to add a couple of new dishes.

Food mostly wonderful! Too much onion used in carrots. Tomato veg soup 100%! Steak brilliant! Deserts meh.... service? Seemed as though half the staff was unexpectedly not on duty. Still, a very pleasant and unhurried evenings repast!

Architectural history all around you of a bygone past as you enjoy some delicious food, coffee or a cold brew. Catered beautifully for vegetarians and gave us superb service whilst not been over attentive. A must do when in Howick!

Having eaten here several times I can recommend the menu and bar choices are good. The place is split between the pizza garden and formal restaurant, where youll receive table service and friendly staff.

Delicious food, wonderful staff and such a warm and inviting atmosphere, the food portions are really worth the value, thank you to our wonderful waiter, Raphael, who made my fort impression of the place an amazing one.

Beautiful old building, great service, good food. We went on a Thursday when it was quiet but it will be busy Fridays and Saturdays.

The food was quite amazing. I tried the burgers and I have to admit, I found them to be quite good. I believe its also worth mentioning that the staff members are really polite and the service was excellent.

Friendly reception at the door. Made friends with all the staff quite easily, so I came back a few days later. The menu is incredible, with traditional European cuisine. The smell coming from the kitchen made me incredibly hungry! I can recommend this restaurant for good food and cold beer.

68 on Main is my favourite restaurant in Howick, the atmosphere is unbeatable, the service is great with tasty and filling pub food. Now with a beer garden next door. Dont forget to look at the Scandinavian wood carving above the doorway!

Very pleasant restaurant and bar. We have always had good food and very friendly service. They have recently opened an open air pizza area which I havent tested yet. They also allow my little dog in the restaurant.

Pleasant restaurant in the main street, great burgers and good friendly service from the staff, and reasonably priced as well. We were in for R500 inc tip and starters and 2 bottles of wine. Got a bit messy in the end as we tried to drink all their whiskeys and liqueurs, but hey, it became a party FESTIVE SPOT.

Excellent attention to detail, the waiter brought my pregnant wife a cushion without us even asking. Also came over when my glass was finished. They have a TV to watch sport on, and wide variety of food on their menu. Pub vibes, warm atmosphere and friendly.
